George Bush knowing that his party faces defeat in the midterm elections first tried to use the fear tactic of Gays attacking the American family. But his attempt at “paging” the family values issue fell with the Foley scandal. Now Bush and his fellow travelers are trying to play the “terrorist card”. This from the President who five years after 9-11 has still not secured our borders and wanted to turn over major port operations to the United Arab Emirates.
But democrats may fall into his gambit. The correct response to Bush’s use of the “terrorist card” is not to say we are secure but rather to point out how Bush has made us more insecure with his failure at our nation’s border, ports and yes even airports. I suggest the following axiom:
Terrorism: Kick ass or Kiss Ass. If you don’t come on strong your rhetoric smells of shit!
While we engage in George Bush’s “social engineering experiments” in Iraq, the Afghans are producing the world’s largest opium crop. If we don’t fight this crop in Afghanistan we will fight drug terrorism on our streets. Our elderly will become imprisoned in their homes while our youth become addicts with the money going to finance terrorists and their potential purchase of NUCLEAR WEAPONS from North Korea. The very same North Korea that Mr. Bush has drawn lines in the sand only to have Kim il Sung cross over repeatedly.
Rather than nambly pamby the terrorist issue we Democrats should shove it up Bush’s ass! Then add how his social engineering experiment has cost America dearly. We must not allow the masochists in our party to whine that America is the cause of the world’s problems! The Democratic Party must stand up for the Middle Class and those who aspire to be Middle Class!
We must drive a wedge between the elite of corporate lobbyist America and the middle class! The time for hesitancy is over! But never under estimate the Jessie Jackson’s and Al Sharpton’s of our party to go on a masochistic binge to defeat our party! The time has come for the Silent Majority – America’s Middle Class to stand up and be counted! Our jobs are being sent overseas to China as our the capital that was created in this nation. We in the Middle Class are being left out.
While the masochistic left whines how we Americans are the cause of all the world’s problems and prostrates to the enemies of freedom in Red China the Republicans take a different view. They don’t prostrate to the enemies of freedom they instead see this as a great opportunity to INVEST and make a buck in building up the enemies of freedom! These “cut and run” capitalists now divest themselves of their American identity to become multinational corporations. Spurning the nation and society that gave them succor, substance and profits! Our jobs go overseas and H1b guest technology workers are imported to lower the pay scale of American technology employees.
But when the next cold war starts guess who will be there to make a profit? These very same CUT AND RUN CORPUBLICAN$ will now drop their identity as “Multi-national Corporations” but return to the American fold to make a buck! The time has come for the Middle Class to stand up!
Well gang it seemed that sly George was about to pull off another Republican win, by changing the national focus from his failure in Iraq and the war on terrorism, to instead making Americans fear that Gays where about to molest our youth and wean them down the road of homosexuality. Sly George who cut and ran from his obligation to attend National Guard drills as a youth and pointed the finger at Democrats, calling us the “party of fear”, now has his own scandal in the Foley incident.
If the Republicans are so hell fire bent on protecting the family why not out law divorce? What about covering all American families with some form of health insurance? No George Bush wants to play the politics of fear then engage in the psychological defense mechanisms of reaction formation and projection. That is to say accusing others of fear mongering while that is one of his own political strategies!
Meanwhile America’s middle class voters have seen their jobs out sourced to third world nations and foreign h1b guest workers undermining the computer technology job market. Our interest rates are rising because Bush continues the war in Iraq yet North Korea is developing nuclear weapons and the means of delivering them.
Yet George Bush and his fellow travelers whine that the rich pay to much in taxes. Oh these bleeding hearts of the right wing whine and rant about allowing our free market to set prices. Yet they have no problem using “government intervention” to allow foreign h1b guest workers undermine the wage scale in the information technology employment market. Then they wonder why Americans do not want to take the more difficult technology courses in college! Is it any wonder why “Atlas Shrugged” to use their terminology?
This is the party that now asks for your vote this November! Please Dear God just make Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton shut their mouths for the next month so we can win big in this election.
George Bush has got his priorities all mixed up yet again. While North Korea is about to test nuclear weapons and has tested an ICBM prototype that could hit our homeland, George Bush and his fellow travelers have been focusing on the more important issues of the day. Iraq which was third in line behind North Korea and Iran for developing WMD is Bush’s prime focus.
Meanwhile the extreme left is readying their usual litany about how America is the cause of all the world’s problems while Republicans see this as a great “investment opportunity” to send capital and jobs abroad to China. Hey but what the heck when the next cold war starts guess who will no longer be “multinational” but true “American” Corporatists! After being the “enabler” for China’s economy to be a military threat to our nation just think of the new investment opportunities in the reemerging American Industrial Complex. Naturally these same cut and run corporatists will now rediscover their “American identity” when there is a buck to be made!
Oh but America’s middle class will have an investment opportunity to make also. Our youth will die in the battlefields that could have been prevented if vigorous action were taken today. You don’t think Bush’s class would lower themselves to actually going to their National Guard meetings now do you?
America’s middle class (and those who aspire to be) will be stuck with the bill! No problem! That’s why Bush’s strategy in Afghanistan is so important! Instead of going after Osama Bin Laden he instead cut and ran from this to concentrate on Iraq.
But again I say no problem. When North Korea gets more nukes and puts them on ICBM’s and they fall on our cities which will be empty of jobs and capital that the Republicans sent to China then why not enjoy some good Afghan Opium? Sprinkle it on some mangos from India! You know “India” that’s where all our computer programming jobs are going. That is the ones that corporate America is not filling with lower paid H1b guest visa workers now.
George Bush who cut and ran from his legal National Guard meeting requirements has no problem sending America’s middle class sons and daughters to die for his pet schemes. With his friends in the Christian Right and the pro – Israeli lobbies we can all rest secure in our beds while North Korea aims nuclear tipped ICBM’s at our nation’s homeland. The news media lets Bush get a free ride on this while concentrating instead on small conventionally armed katusa rockets going 25 miles into northern Israel. George Bush had better get his priorities straight.
Oh he whines about fighting Islamic fascists. What about Darfur and the genocide that the Islamic fascists are conducting there?
Oh but that does not generate any votes from the Christian right that has to justify the failure of the second coming that they believed should have taken place within a generation after the rebirth of Israel. Since the “second coming” did not occur their theological spin doctors reason that Israel has not yet fully been restored since they do not occupy all of Palestine! Hence the “one generation clock” has not yet started ticking. Oh yes and our nation is being held hostage to this kook theology! Meanwhile Bush’s lectures us on the need for secular liberal democracy in the Muslim world while the zanies influence him and our foreign policy here at home.
Please understand I am NOT against Israel. I just want them to mind their affairs while we place our Homeland’s Security first. I wish just a part of the attention that was directed to katusa rockets was instead focused on the genocide in Darfur.
George Bush is trying to “define” the issue as “fight the terrorist abroad or fight them at home!” I agree. The problem is when are we going to do that!
We are loosing in Afghanistan. They now produce 92% of the world’s opium. If we don’t fight that crop there in Afghanistan we will be fighting drug terrorism on our streets! Under Bush we have the choice to let the profits of the addiction of America’s youth go to a so-called friendly Afghan government or a hostile one lead by the Taliban! I say the choice is wrong! Life is more that a choice of two solutions. Indeed many of you who read this blog may wonder how I can label myself a liberal democrat (and I am). But I am a NON politically correct liberal democrat. I do not advocate “cut and run”. I just wonder what is the target? Certainly not North Korea! Certainly not the Islamic fascists in their genocidal war in Darfur! We need more than two orthodox choices of liberal and conservative! This blog is part of a social process taking place in America to give us more choices!
We need a new political alignment in our nation. These cut and run capitalists must be stopped! While America’s left whine and apologize to America’s enemies abroad the right wing sees it as and investment opportunity. They invest in our enemies!
The time has come for our nation’s Silent Majority: America’s great Middle Class (and those who aspire to be) to rise up and take back our country!
I am a NON-PC liberal Democrat. I believe we should search for the truth no matter what side of the spectrum it takes us! This poses some “Inconvenient Truths” for both sides of the political spectrum:
- Why is it that we liberals in the USA call taking pot shots at space objects “Star Wars” and pooh pooh it’s military value while China forges ahead?
- Why do Republicans act like ostrich’s with their heads in their portfolio’s rather than looking up outside of their own selfish class interest (oh did I say a bad word here) to see how this licentious orgy of investment in China could be hurting our nation?
- Why do both sides look the other way to the blatant intellectual theft that is making it easier on China to spend more for it’s Military R+D since some military and industrial project costs are eased due to intellectual property theft.
- Hey gang remember the PC idea of some years back to have giant orbiting solar collectors collecting solar energy in space then beaming it in a concentrated beam back to a receiving station on earth. Gee I guess we don’t have to worry about the beam going off a degree or two and scorching a city! I am not against that technology but I just wonder why they could then argue against the S.D.I.
Returning to China again. Their theft of intellectual property does not necessarily mean that all their laser technology was stolen from us. But if China chooses to pursue projects x, y and z and part of x and y have their costs offset by stolen technology then she is able to devote more resources to “z”.
While the tests so far have not been full scale laser firings to destroy satellites nor destroy incoming missiles, it does prove they are on track to develop such weapons. Furthermore even the ability to destroy our communication and spy satellites would hurt our conventional warfare efforts. Also the ability to destroy our spy satellites would aid them if they wanted to launch a preemptive conventional and/or nuclear strike.
Meanwhile the PC liberal crowd keeps drinking its Latte while extolling how we Americans are the cause of all the world’s problems while the Republican$ chuckle with their heads in their stock portfolios enjoying their “Cut and Run” strategy from investing in the nation that gave them sustenance, substance and profits.
In this era of licentious permissiveness when American Corporations cut and run from their American Identity to become “Multinational Corporations” we see the results that they and their fellow travelers are having on the employment situation with America’s middle class! Not to mention how they destroyed the American dream for computer students by importing low paid h1b guest worker programmers from India.
Oh yes when China rises to be a threat to our nation guess who will be leading the fight for building our military industrial complex? They will drop their chop sticks and their overseas corporate offices to reinvest in a new cold war of their own subsidizing. All the while the PC Liberal crowd will be chanting their mantra of “evil wicked guilty America”!
Its time for the Silent Majority – America’s great Middle Class (and those who aspire to be) to rise up and take our country back from these effete snobs of both the right and the left!
