First let’s make one thing straight. I am not a PC liberal just read my prior blog post. But today we have another blatant example of this age of licentious permissiveness with ITT selling secret military technology to the enemies of freedom! This age where Cut and Run Capitalists make money from the homeland that gave them succor, profits and their very incorporation, now turning Iscariot style against our own troops to sell our advanced military technology to Communist China! So what it’s against the law! They are above the law!
While bleeding heart Republicans make the case for no jail time for those who betrayed our troops by selling secret night vision technology, these effete snobs of Corporate America change their allegiance to multinational corporations! Today’s example of ITT is just one more blatant example of this age of permissiveness where loyal Americans, both on the battle field and in the workplace, must sublimate their individualism to these globalization monsters of COLLECTIVISM!
Yet when the communists, whom these Iscariots bed down with, latter turn on them, or challenge us with the military these cut and run capitalists help to build, they will suddenly “rediscover their American Identity”! The time has come for the Silent Majority – America’s great Middle Class (and those who aspire to be) to demand this age of licentious permissiveness end! This age with it’s bleeding of America’s military technology, intellectual property, homeland produced capital and jobs to the enemies of freedom, all in the service of the effete snobs of the corporate elite!
In the future when our nation is challenged from abroad by China’s military, whom these cut and run capitalists helped to build, guess who will be there to profit from the new American military buildup that they forced upon us? Their professions of loyalty and “love” for America and our way of life are as creditable as the “moaning” of a N.Y.C. VD laden prostitute turning a cheap $15 dollar trick!
We are the greatest nation on earth yet our middle class is watching our loyal troops having their military technology sold illegally to profit these effete snobs of the corporate elite as our employment base at home is undermined by the dual evils of global outsourcing and H1-B Visa tech workers. Step by step the corporate class is undermining the rugged individualism of the American Middle Class! Why bother to learn computer skills when conservatives who advocate “laizze faire” use government intervention to drive down our pay scale, make our jobs less secure and thus deprive us of health benefits! Then they wonder why students don’t want to take the harder technological courses in college! Is it any wonder why ATLAS SHRUGGED?
The time has come for the Silent Majority to stand up for America and take our nation back from these Iscariots of the Corporate Elite!
Mention “Global Warming” and you evoke both the secular doom dayers plus the scoffers. I am neither! Basically I believe the earth is facing a crisis due to carbon emissions from our species. Yet I also believe there are many on the left who have adapted a new fundamentalism. That of “Secular Dooms Dayer”. I used to believe religion was anti-life! Making folks believe in original sin so we could all wallow in collective guilt and play a nasty Transactional Analysis game of “Ain’t it Awful”. Back in my college days Hal Lindsey wrote a religious dooms day book predicting the second coming and the end of the world within ten years. Funny thing at the same time circa 1970 the ecology movement was predicting a “Secular Dooms Day” scenario with the book, “The Population Bomb”! These latter day secular masochists joined with the “Club of Rome” to produce dooms day reports concerning the end of oil resources on this planet within the same time frame.
I recovered my religious faith as I came to realize the negativity that I experienced in religion was not intrinsic to religion rather something about the human psyche. I called it “Original Masochism” in my other website that is devoted to progressive religion. I will not get into that here but to say that in the late 60’s and early 70’s when I attended college I came to realize that being a “free thinker” sometimes meant renouncing liberal orthodoxy! Instead of hating life on earth due to some “original sin” and man being depraved and a collective sinner, now we who attended the early Earth Days went forth with our new scripture, “The Population Bomb” to preach SECULAR repentance to a DECADENT “Bourgeois Middle Class”! Oh the joys of collective guilt for being White, American and Middle Class!
Naturally there were some who while of good nature did not yet know the TRUTH! They suffered from Bourgeois Middle Class Hang-ups! They did not realize that they were the cause of all the world’s problems! You know we are “x” percent of the world’s population yet use “x + y” percent of the earth’s resources. Did anyone notice that at Al Gore’s meeting with the Congressional Committee they all were drinking bottled water? Gosh how much plastic is that going to throw into the environment? I am an avid hiker and have lead for hiking clubs for 35 years! Not to mention the webmaster for two clubs. Yet I say most environmentalists are hypocrites! Years ago nuclear energy was considered the way to go. In my area wind mills were going to be built! Guess who put up a big stink? The hikers! Make no mistake about it these folks have a distinct need for masochism! Instead of fundamentalist religion with it’s need to feel guilty for Adam and Eve plucking a stupid apple off a tree, these new advocates of collective guilt want us to feel guilty for living middle class lives! Let me give you three examples:
SOLAR COLLECTORS AND STAR WARS: I don’t believe it’s nice to have an enemy capable of nuking us. Yet the orthodox liberals call it a “star wars fantasy” to have a anti-missile defense system. Yet years ago they advocated the creation of giant space stations with solar collector’s miles wide that would beam a concentrated energy beam back to earth. Now imagine if you will what would happen if the angle of that beam went off by just a fraction of a degree! Talk about scourged earth! They had no problem with the feasibility of shooting high energy beams back to earth as an alternative form of energy but if the energy beam where used in the opposite direction to shoot down an incoming nuclear missile then they called it mockingly “star wars”.
RECYCLING: In my locality we are required to place plastic and metal in a separate container for recycling. Despite the fact that now no one wants to buy this junk, the eco-masochists continue to insist we continue this. How much water is wasted in each household to wash and clean the various plastic containers that are then thrown out? How much energy is used to heat that water?
BLIND CONSERVATION: Oh God remember the idiocy of the late 70’s with the air conditioning in the office work place being set at 78 – 80 degrees while we all walked around in three piece suits with tight neck ties! Hell I don’t care what it does to my karma turn up the God Damned air conditioning and also lets throw away the suits and ties!
However in our secular culture where we do not have rituals we need a subsitute means of connection! Recycling, conservation and a vegan diet are a means for New Age folks (and I am one of them) to have “communion” with the sacred, in this case the earth! It makes folks “remember” but does little more! Self flagellation secular style anyone? Further as each new alternative energy form is developed, I believe the very folks who advocate it will then turn against it. Why? Because while there is a valid danger of global warming, they are not trying to solve problems! They are infected with this secular version of “original sin” that I will term “original masochism”! I remember one professor who actually said, “the human race does not deserve to survive”! As China and India develop large middle classes the time has come to find a safe sane approach to conservation and rapid development of alternative fuels! Evolution yes, lifestyle throw back NO!
As our troops, many from the National Guard and Army Reserve, face their second, third and even fourth tours of extended duty in Iraq I find it interesting that our President cannot talk about his stateside tours of duty in the National Guard.
QUESTION: What is similiar to Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and why?
ANSWER: George Bush’s complete service record in the National Guard. Like Iraqi WMD neither can be found!
After the attack of 9-11 our nation had to “kick ass”! I make no apology for saying that. Afghanistan, under the Taliban, was an excellent target. I actually believed Iraq had WMD and so I was for the War. After no WMD were found I came to realize that Bush was incompetent. No he is not a fascist as some would say but he is incompetent and perhaps even got us into this war to show up his dad, that he could “finish” the job “daddy” Bush started.
Amazingly Saddam was as incompetent as Bush! Hussein dragged out the investigations and actually gave Bush a pretext with the international community for the invasion that overthrew him. If he had allowed the inspectors to do their jobs the war would never have taken place! Therefore I cannot fully fault Bush for starting this war. I do fault him for:
- Changing the goal from toppling Saddam to trying to create a western style democracy. If that is the goal then Bush tried to do this on a shoestring.
- Never having enough troops for an effective occupation.
- Allowing the militias to form and operate openly. Imagine Germany after WWII with SS units in the streets four years after the fall of the Third Reich?
- Forming an Iraqi Government while militias where still in operation. Democracy is not a consultation between warlords. There can only be one armed force in a democracy!
- Blaming the Iraqi’s for not doing enough! Wrong the Iraqi’s were never given a clean nation to start with! That was our duty as the occupier to them. We did so for Germany and Japan.
Let’s examine some myths about Iraq.
- We cannot win if “winning” means establishing a western style secular democracy.
We can win this but the issue is the price! Also is it in our national interest to pay that price? It was in our national interest to literally “kick ass” after 9-11 in Afghanistan. It is still in our national interest to win Afghanistan and to use more of our military. The enemies of America had to learn a lesson and be given a demonstration of our national power. It is an “inconvenient truth” to some that terrorists don’t care about bad karma. They just want the 77 Virgins!
- The Iraqi Government is not doing enough to win.
Bush never should have allowed the militias to form. The borders of Iraq should have been secured by land mines, aircraft or camel patrols if need be. But then again Bush has never secured our nation’s borders! The Iraqi’s under the conditions they are operating, are looking to survive in the situation we gave them!
- If we don’t stop the terrorists in Iraq they will follow us over here back to our homeland!
Well then we had better not jail our border patrol agents for stopping illegals from entering our nation! Just what message are we sending the terrorists by this act Mr. Bush? To bad the attorney who prosecuted those border patrol agents was not fired instead of the others in the Justice Department. The fact is that the person who fights us in Iraq is more concerned about his own sect winning control in Iraq then about a global strategy. Yes Al Qaeda is “now” in Iraq thanks to George Bush. But if they are the issue we can leave Bagdad now and go hunt them down in Al Ambar province and Afganistan. If “kicking ass” is so important then why is our butt being kicked in Afganistan? If Bush is so concerned about our Homeland why did he want to turn over port security to the United Arab Emirates in several of our major ports and prosecute our border patrol agents for doing their job? Great message Bush is sending to the terrorists!
- If we leave now it will result in genicide and that would be awful!
We could split Iraq into three federated states to avoid this before we leave. But ultimately genocide is taking place in Darfur and our news media pays very little attention to it. So perhaps we could do the same for Iraq! I don’t mean to sound cold but in this world genocide is not “awful” it is simply “third world like”. Maybe both sides in Iraq should sit down to a nice ham dinner! Well it wouldn’t hurt given the idiocy going on there!
Finally we had better guard our borders, jobs and capital from foreign forces that endanger our way of life! The time has come for the Silent Majority – America’s Middle Class (and those who aspire to be) to stand up and say NO to the Republican social engineering experiment going on in Iraq today and the squandering of our nation’s youth to a war that is not ours to fight in Iraq. Mr. Bush take our troops out of harms way in Iraq and support our border patrol agents at home!
As the American middle class watches its high tech jobs shipped overseas and foreign H1-B Visa workers imported to lower the remaining tech job salaries, let us pause for a moment to salute yet another in the sea of CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS! Halliburton is sending its CEO to the United Arab Emirates! Why not take Dick Cheney with them but keep American manufacturing and high tech jobs here!
Why is it that loyal American union members refrain from celebrating May Day as we don’t want to place our economic class before our nation? Yet George Bush and his fellow travelers place the interests of their economic class above the national interest. They undermine the American Middle Class dream all while singing their “Corporate Internationale”! Yet American middle class employees are judged by corporate America in how well they can subvert their “Individualism” to the “Corporate Collective”! As we learned last year Bush and his fellow travelers said the hell with Port Security! They prefer PORTFOLIO SECURTIY! Isn’t it amazing that Halliburton has located it’s CEO in the United Arab Emirates! Maybe we can outsource our Border Security to the United Arab Emirates with a “Camel Corp” to patrol the Arizona and New Mexico border with Mexico! It can be lead by a gun toting, camel riding Dick Cheney!
Remember the Vietnam War when construction workers were cozying up to Nixon and the Republicans? Well look at the loyalty that the republicans are now showing construction workers now! Our national borders are wide open while wages for construction trades are being driven down by illegal aliens! No I am not against these people who are only looking to better their lives. But America has a right to its borders and self-determination!
It is not jut the construction, meat packing and warehouse trades that are being effected! We have been told that education is the wave of the future. Yet these advocates of the free market are tinkering with the markets in our Homeland all to benefit their economic class while the Middle Class dream is being eroded! They are practicing government intervention in the free market of the United States by:
- Non-enforcement of immigration laws!
- Flooding the high tech field with H1-B visa workers from foreign lands.
- Finally these effete snobs of the corporate elite whine that less college students want to take up difficult subjects like computer science. After they undermine the American dream they then lecture us how “Atas Shrugged”!
When will the middle class demand responsibility from our government? The time has come for America’s Silent Majority to stand up for the rights of the “Individual” in this era of Corporate Collectivism!
Now that Newt Gingrich has had a sudden need to confess years after his affair, might I ask a few relevant questions?
- Since he waited so long to fess up why should we believe his motivation is anything but politically motivated?
- Obviously addressing the issue of being a hypocrite on family values drove him deep into the closet but what would have happened to him if he were pulled out of that closet years ago by a court and had to give sworn testimony under oath? Would he lie and perjury himself?
- While having an extramarital affair is not a criminal offense, except under the Deuteronomy style values that Gingrich and his fellow travelers so extol, one must ask would our champion of anti-biases in news media coverage whine and wail that his set up under oath was a pretext to get him to perjury himself (ala Clinton)?
- Regardless of your views on Hilary Clinton, why is she attacked for the “Bill Clinton affair” when she was clearly the victim! Why do these champions of family values attack a woman who forgave her husband and preserved her family?
What great sin has Hillary Clinton done in terms of family values? Yet this poor woman has been dragged through the mud. First by her own husband and worst by the hypocrites of the right wing! Oh they argue she just wants to be president and that is why she forgave him! What krap. Democrats being the PC Correct species they are would not go against her for leaving her husband. Besides the conservatives would never vote for her either way! How DARE Hillary Clinton aspire to give the Silent Majority of Americans Universal Health Care and hence freedom from subservience to the CORPORATE COLLECTIVISTS!
The time has come to drag these hypocrites from the right out of their closet! The very same hypocrites, who after six years past 9-11 have still not secured our borders and want to outsource our nation’s port security to the United Arab Emirates! Their loyalty is not to America’s port security but their own portfolio security! These bleeding hearts of the right who don’t care for the dreams and aspirations of the average American but send our technological jobs out from the homeland they claim loyalty to. Well that is except for the jobs they fill here with H1-B Visa workers at lower pay.
The time has come for America’s great silent majority, our Middle Class and those who aspire to be, to take back our nation from these effete snobs of the corporate elite!
While I am against “political correctness”, Ann Coulter, with her ever short skirts, is really using every effort to sell her books! I wonder is it wrong to call someone her age with miniskirts so thin that they qualify as a belt, an old “hag”? Gee that’s only one letter difference from what she called Senator John Edwards. What in particularly gets under Ann Coulter’s skin about Senator John Edwards?
Could it be that Edwards tells it like it is concerning the class war going on in the United States? How dare we challenge the rule of the upper class? These effete snobs talk about the “free market” then they interfere with it by pushing for government intervention to lower salaries of middle class employees. They succeeded in allowing foreign H1-B guest workers to drive down the wages of computer programmers. Why should a college student struggle with hard subjects like Computer Science and Engineering, when these effete snobs of corporate America can undermine the free market! They undermine it by removing the financial rewards of hard work at geeky technical subjects like computer science and engineering! Then they wonder why America doesn’t have enough technical graduates! Oh these effete snobs then preach their gospel book “Atlas Shrugged”.
What John Edwards has done is to expose how the upper class is waging war against the middle class. Ann Coulter wants to steal the American dream from the middle class. Her visceral reaction to Edwards is because he is not walking away from the class war in America. Look at how George Bush has tried to make Americans identify themselves with the needs of the corporate class! By his stupid social security program, whereby Americans could have a portion of the SS tax allocated to the purchase of investment funds, Bush wanted Americans to identify with the upper class. “You don’t want to tax capital gains now do you”?
I am sick and tired of these BLEEDING HEARTS for the corporate elite! The silent majority of us we still have to WORK FOR A LIVING! Stock holder or not! Besides if Ann Coulter and her fellow travelers have their way you can forget about going back to college and getting an education to improve your lot in life as H1-B visa guest workers will steal your dreams and your job!
Ann Coulter and her bleeding heart friends for the corporate elite, would idolize those companies that shred their American identity for a Multi-national identity, bleeding our jobs and technology to China! This age of permissiveness must stop!
The time has come for America’s silent majority – the great Middle Class (and those who aspire to be) to take our nation back from these effete snobs of corporate America whose only loyalty is to where ever their investments take them. They even want to shed their identity as Americans becoming “multi-national”!
