Dennis Kucinich while speaking at the Democratic Debate, unveiled a new weapon system to be used against both Iran and the war on terrorists.

The United States will deploy strategic long range catapults along the Iraqi – Iranian border. They will hold a pay load of tasty Hersheys Chocolate Kisses! These “Kisses” will carry a strategic payload of TRIPLE EXTRA SWEET Chocolate! Naturally as they fall down on Iranian nuclear installations, the Chocolate Kisses’s pointed edge could cause damage if they struck a Shiite suicide warrior recruit who might be bowing in prayer. Luckily Congressman Kucinich has developed a politically correct solution to this problem. The catapults will have their TRIPLE EXTRA SWEET Chocolate Kisses wrapped in pink COTTON CANDY with EXTRA FLUFF!

However for the mountain regions of Waziristan and Taliban controlled sections of Afghanistan these weapons payloads will be delivered not by catapults but dropped by good karma polka-dot colored balloons flying over the mountain regions! The congressman was adamant that no Afghan poppy plant byproducts be used in the extra fluffy cotton candy. That would not be right as we should not tolerate drug addiction as a weapon. That is only for use against our own youth’s here at home.

Strangely President Bush agreed with him on this point and did not want to side track any of the Afghan bumper crop of opium to weapons. Better that the opium can cross America’s wide open borders and addict our children! There was a scare however that this new secret weapon technology might have been sold to the Chinese by ITT. (As was the case with our advance night vision technology).

The time has come for the Silent Majority – America’s great Middle Class to stand up and say NO to both:

  1. The Kissey worsey Politically Correct section of my own Democratic Party who cannot face the reality that there are EVIL people out there who want to do us harm and
  2. The CUT AND RUN Capitialists who value their stock security over National Security! Just look at the case of ITT illegally selling our military technology to China!

The reasons why we democrats loose elections is because we fail to realize that KICKING ASS is a valuable national response after events such as 9-11. The problem is that a wise general knows the terrain and both his strengths and weaknesses. We excel at “shock and awe” that is unless our very own CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS sell our technology to the enemy like ITT. We don’t have the stomach for a protracted occupation unless it is in our vital national interest. Iraq might have been good as a demonstration of our nation’s power to kick butt to push Iran and North Korea in line. But the extended occupation of Iraq was not in our interest. A wise general shapes his policy according to priorities and self knowledge of his strengths and weaknesses.

Saddam tried to kill George Bush’s father and I believe that is one of the reason’s why we are got involved in Iraq while Iran and North Korea continue to build WMD. When we smashed Saddam our military credibility and deterrence went up. When we got involved in a Neo-Cons Social Engineering experiment with it’s required extended occupation without the needed troop levels our creditability fell.

The American people want better choices then Kucinich or George Bush and they deserve it! One last note on Kucinich. I came accros this while researching this blog post. When his life was on the line he decided to carry a gun. No cotton candy defense for him.

I heard George Tenet on several news channels lamenting how he had to endure several years of being the “fall guy” for the Bush Administration. He particularly ridiculed Vice President Cheney. We will have to wait till he gives his full report Sunday on CBS’s “60 Minutes” that is unless you want to buy the book. Monday he will be on CNN’s “Larry King Show”.

You will have to pardon me as I blog this as my tears for George Tenet are falling on my keyboard. I am crying for POOR POOR GEORGE TENET, being made the “Fall Guy”. He said words to the effect that it was “dishonorable” for the White House to treat him that way! Well Mr. Tenet what about our brave men and woman who were literally the “FALL GUYS and GALS” because you kept your mouth shut until you could write a book?

Oh I guess that is what he calls “honor”! Sounds like the code of honor of a mafia don to me not the sworn civil servant who has taken an oath to defend the Constitution of The United States! What is he a “made member” of the Bush family?

I hope Congress really grills this guy. He said he never heard a full discussion concerning the pro’s and cons of going to war being conducted at the White House, rather it was a forgone conclusion. Well why is he waiting till his book comes out to tell the Congress and the American people this now? How many of our brave men and woman have died. They and their families did not profit from any book! Now if he came out with the book immediately then I don’t mind him being rewarded. But to whine that he was the “Fall guy” is ridiculous.

The time has come for the Silent Majority – America’s great Middle Class, to stand up and take our country back from these effete snobs!

Let’s get one thing straight. We CAN win in Iraq. The issue is the PRICE and for what PURPOSE! Besides the mandate of Congress has already been fulfilled, George Bush has declared “Mission Accomplished”. We have more important fish to fry.

  • Afghanistan is going down hill,
  • Waziristan is hosting Bin Ladin and no one is doing a damn thing about it!
  • Our borders are wide open. Until January 2007 Bush had control of both Houses of Congress yet he did nothing. He was too concerned with keeping the borders open to get low wage workers for the Chamber of Commerce and for out sourcing port security to the United Arab Emirates. You know, the U.A.E. the nice people who refused the CIA when it asked them to stop the centrifuge shipments from their ports to Pakistan.

I will give Bush positives for attacking the Taliban and monitoring the internet for terrorists. The latter however can still be done with some monitoring by a court.

But if we leave they will follow us home!

Why sure they will with our ports wide open I am surprised they have not done so already! With the bumper crop of opium from our friends in Afghanistan to finance Bin Ladin we had better be concerned. But wasting our troops in the Iraqi Civil War is not the answer. Let’s stop this neo-con social engineering experiment and learn from history! Iraq needs a nice friendly rough regime that is willing to do the things that we don’t have the guts to do. Like put insurgents against a wall and shoot them.

But if we leave there will be ethnic cleansing!

Why yes there will be I am sure. That is why Senator Biden suggested a division of Iraq while we are still there. Besides Darfur does not seem to bother Bush so why should Iraq. The news media has been doing Bush’s bidding and only recently even started to mention Darfur or show occasional images. So if a blood bath starts in Iraq we can have the News Media do a “Darfur” on the Iraqi genocide. Are we the world’s policeman? Besides if you object then you are a racist white American pig. “Genicide” – it’s just a third world kind of thing!

But we have to “Support Our Troops”.

Well thank God our National Guard is not like Bush. These guys actually do their duty. We don’t take polls of the military when we decide on war. The military follows the will of our society not the other way around! Besides every poll I see shows the troops want out. If Bush wanted to support our troops he would have quickly set up a reformed Government in Iraq that ran things the Mideast way. Then send our troops over the horizon. Our power comes from “Shock and Awe” not protracted occupations. That is unless we want to bring back the draft. We don’t want to waste American lives. Our strength is “technology”. Well so long as CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS like ITT don’t give it away by outsourcing it illegaly.

By pulling out we are letting terrorists win!

We must distinguish between a “battle” and the “war”. We NEVER had enough troops for a successful occupation. Our strength is “shock and awe” at least with a volunteer army. Bush has been trying to win a draft style war with a volunteer army. We don’t have the numbers for a successful occupation. Imagine Germany three years after the war and Berlin having sections we don’t yet control and the SS still running around. That is the situation in Iraq. What is Bush’s answer to Sadr City? We are now constructing a Sunni style city in Bagdad. Walls are being made around the Sunni section. Why not eliminate the militias? Imagine militias being allowed in Germany or Japan after the war especially those not controlled by us!

George Bush Stop doing a KATRINA ON OUR TROOPS!

I felt the video to be very disturbing. One of my undergraduate majors was psychology. I would have to say that viewing the videos gave me a more through understanding of the person and the events. Even with my psychological background the videos gave me far more input to Cho then mere newscasts. Prior to viewing them I thought he was merely a person who snapped! However after witnessing the enormous self deception on his part with his extreme hatred of innocent students and faculty I realized I really hated this individual.

Yes this from genuine tree hugging, incense burning liberal. If you remember Columbine there were Cross monuments to each of the students and someone added two for the killers. When one of the parents of the victims saw this he went into a rage and destroyed the memorials to the killers. I fully agree with that.

Some will say that since both the murders in Columbine and Cho at Virginia Tech committed suicide that serves as proof that the death sentence is ineffective! I fully DISAGREE! These killers did their mayhem then left the world on “their terms”. When Herman Goering was about to go to the gallows he poisoned himself. The reaction of the prison staff was to pump his stomach so that the hangman would not be cheated. A futile act some may say and to what end?

The point is that when these creeps are executed the victim’s families and society gets a catharsis. The killer is not in charge and goes through the agony of preparation with the final hanging! It is not just taking his life but the reassertion of society and the victim’s families to “power” from the murder that is at stake here. That is why in prior times when a military execution of an enemy commander takes place, if he had some trait of honor or decency, the army shoots him rather than hanging him. If his redeeming traits where sufficient he is given the right to command his own firing squad. While his punishment is still death but he is allowed “power” in his last moments.

Some would say that life in prison would be the ultimate loss of power and better as a punishment. But then you don’t have closure for the victim’s families! After viewing Cho’s last moments I have no pity for him. I would not have fully felt that way without viewing those videos! I don’t wish him eternal hell but a good torching!

Also from viewing his videos and hearing his plays I have to believe this dude was sexually assaulted as a youth. He talks about pedophiles and some guy who he hates and wants to see killed. This writing must have been an acting out for this demented soul. To bad he could not have been forced to receive the help he so desperately needed!

I am a NON-PC liberal. I fault conservatives for allowing easy access to guns. I fault liberals for lax law enforcement and the weakening of a judges right to commit a dangerous person for extended treatment. Yes I know there must be checks and balances. But how could this dude fall through the cracks?

We are all saddened by the horrible tragedy at Virginia Technical Institute. Most of us have wondered about the two hour lag time between the first and second killing spree. I also wonder if the second tragedy could have been prevented or at least made less. But I have some additional reasons. Follow with me here.

  • Tonight I heard that a tool was found in the killer’s dorm room that could be used to remove the registration numbers from the gun. This means the gun did have an ID on it when he acquired it. This is important.
  • Also there is some evidence found in his dorm that he was at least involved in the fake bomb threats that took place prior to this massacre.
  • We all know that the campus was not locked down and no alarm was sounded to the student body until almost the exact minute that the second killing spree began.

If this tool was used to remove the registration numbers then the killer may have NOT originally intended to commit suicide! The news media have speculated that he may have used fake bombing threats to test the security responsiveness of the University. Since it appears that he may very well have been a part of these prior threats and was sophisticated enough to plan to have a chain to seal the Classroom building we can assume there was a great deal of PREMEDITATION.

Here is my point:

He may have returned to his own dorm to not only get more weapons but since there was a two hour gap he may have been engaged in a intense thinking session. We seem to know that “SECURITY RESPONSIVENESS” was something he was sensitive to.

The fact that NO ALERT WAS GIVEN may very well have emboldened him to carry out the second part of his plan! Many have focused on the consequences of what would have been different if a FULL ALERT with e-mails and police using bull horns had gone through the campus with the emphasis on the reaction of the student body!

My question is was he waiting to see what reaction the University would have before he made his second act of murder? If he removed the serial numbers from the gun was he planning to cover his tracks and not commit suicide? Thus would a full alert have caused a different reaction on the killer’s part? Even if he still planned to commit suicide but wanted to kill as many as possible would a response from the University have made him cease his plans to a latter date? In that case the authorities would have had more time to catch him and perhaps prevent him from acting a second time!

I don’t hold the President of Virginia Tech responsible. But we must learn from this!

Personally I don’t care for either Imus or Sharpton. In the midst of this controversy one voice did stand out for reason and intelligence. That voice belonged to the coach of the Rutgers University Woman’s Basketball Team and to her players as well. Rather than embark on a particular agenda’s such as Al Sharpton’s continuous playing of the Transactional Analysis GAME of “Now I Got You, You Son Of A Bitch”, with his cashing in of “TRADING STAMPS” of victimization in order to “PURCHASE” a free whine of self righteousness on the news media, the Rutgers Woman’s Basketball team stuck to the issues and did it magnificently!

These woman were insulted without justification and they stuck to their guns helping listeners to identify with them regardless of race, sex or class. Their protestations came from their humanity. Their coach and also the team captain were fantastic in helping ordinary Americans see the real issues and their real life impact in our society!

By the way I did not hear Al Sharpton who does not seem to suffer malnourishment, apologize for the Tawana Brawley incident that he capitalized on some decades ago and propelled him into the national arena!

Don Imus also used the politics of entitlement. True he does a lot of good work with charities but does that “entitle” him to make fun of these women who are fine examples of athletic and educational achievement! I see Imus wearing his long hair from the hippie era and I do feel jealous of him that he can keep it as I am now bald. I can identitfy with both the long hair and the cowboy hats as I was a college student in Missouri. But where are the free spirited VALUES that those things represent? I only hope his apology is geniuine!

Does POWER come from inflicting HURT or from the ability to foster dialog and HEALING? These young woman were not politicians. I agree even I use cutting humor in this blog but that is only directed against politicians not the average cititzen even if they disagree with me. It seems to me that the Rutgers Worman’s Basketball Team and their coach have role modeled genuine power! Maybe the rest of society can take note!

I do hope for Imus’s eventual return and that he can still be pointed in his humor but not at innocent Black and White young ladies whose only sin is that they are achievers!

Now we also need to focus on the racism and sexism of the “Rap Music” Industry that also disparages both African American Woman and Whites. Ah but don’t forget the lawyers and music industry investors who profit from “identity creations” for the young! Where is the consumer protection movement or do liberals call on them only when little Johnny gets a G.I. Joe action doll? It seems that Corporate America and Al Sharpton make great bedfellows!
