While George Bush and his fellow traveler John McCain lecture us on the virtues of the coming “One Hundred Year War” our nation sadly passed a grim milestone. We have now lost over 4,000 dead. These are the military regulars and reservists who did not emulate their Commander in Chief by not attending their required National Guard Meetings but instead took the call up to active duty. Some even serving four tours in Iraq. Imagine if they did a “George Bush” and did not attend their National Guard meetings as required by law?
Mean while let’s look at the great “fruits” of the Republican SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT that McCain would like to continue for one hundred years! Why look who is coming to dinner! (See the Video Below)
Look who is landing in Bagdad in the video above! Why if that isn’t the ever cuddly Iranian President Ahmadinejad who is arming militias in Iraq to kill our troops! Where is he pray tell? Why he is visiting his chum the Prime Minister of Iraq, al-Maliki! But then again he is only returning the favor as al-Maliki has visited him!
This is what we are fighting for!
This is what our nation has sacrificed its’ brave troops for!
This is what the Social Engineering Experts in the Republican Party have wasted our resources on while our own CIA tells us that the next attack from Al Qaeda will come from the Al Qaeda homeland in the Pakistani - Afghan border country!
Yet John McCain who doesn’t give a krap about the genocide in Darfur and doesn’t even care about CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS who are investing in Vietnam, the nation that once tortured him, lectures us about turning a blind eye to the Al Qaeda Homeland in the border regions of Pakistan and even vows to follow Al Qaeda to hell and back but not to their homeland! Yet he criticizes Barrack Obama for wanting to take strategic high tech action where it would count!
Senator McCain is so afraid about genocide in Iraq! When will he and his fellow travelers ever learn you cannot impose democracy on those who are not ready for it! Oh my I made a anti-war statement and a politically incorrect one at that! - Good this is a blog by a progressive Democrat not a knee jerk PC Liberal.
Let’s understand something. Four thousand troops dead for a vital war is actually very small. We lost far more in the Civil War and World War II. But can you imagine five years after the fall of Berlin and that city still having snipers? Can you imagine Germany in 1950 with key cities falling into the hands of insurgents?
That is the situation we have today because we never had enough troops to perform an occupation. But then why should we? Remember MISSION ACCOMPLISHED? As this REPUBLICAN SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT continues to divert us from the War on Terror and our economy is falling from carrying this unnecessary war debt, let us take heart that under our President Taliban opium production in Afghanistan is at record world levels. This drug money will be used by the REAL Al Qaeda in their homeland in next door Pakistan! With this opium money financing renegade Pakistani nuclear scientists and training camps in the Al Qaeda homeland of border Pakistan we can look forward to a mushroom cloud over our cities. So enjoy the diversion in Iraq. But don’t worry just look at the great work George Bush did securing our national borders and ports! Now you can sleep peacefully at 3AM!
The time has come for America’s Silent Majority - our great Middle Class to stand up and stop this social engineering experiment in Iraq and return to the War on Terrorism! God Bless America!
As has been reported Senator McCain does not seem to understand the difference between Shiite and Sunni! You know the two largest groups in Iraq that are at each other’s throats with us in the middle! Senator McCain was saved by his “puppy dog” Senator Joe Lieberman who corrected him in front of the cameras!
Remember some years back when many cars had small toy dogs in the back window! The head of the puppy would rock with the movement of the car in a “YES” fashion up and down! I dare you to watch Senator McCain as he always seems to have a smiling Senator Joe Lieberman with him! Nod your head up and down turn coat puppy dog Joe!
Gee what is it that Senator Lieberman is after with McCain and his pro Iraq strategy? No doubt I am sure he is interested in having McCain stop this nonsense about Iraq and instead help the starving people of Darfur who ALREADY have a genocide occurring in their homeland! So nice of Senator Lieberman to be against genocide now isn’t it! Then there is Chad and even Kenya which is heading in that direction. No doubt Senator Lieberman and his fellow traveler John McCain are so concerned about genocide that they just plain forgot the difference between “potential” and “REAL” genocide!
But then again after 4,000 deaths of American soldiers you would think Senator McCain would know the difference between Sunni and Shiite. Senator McCain did your puppy dog Senator Lieberman have anything to say about Darfur and the genocide that is occurring there right now?
Was it “NEVER AGAIN”! Perhaps it is ok to forget when the puppy dog wants to be Vice President!
I am a supporter of Barrack Obama and voted for him. I find his affiliation with Pastor Wright to be very disturbing. Taken in conjunction with Obama’s wife’s remarks some weeks back concerning “finally being proud to be an American”, my support of him has waned greatly. If my family attended a church where the pastor damned America we would not only leave but leave loudly! Who cares that he married you and baptized your kids? My parents left the church they were married in. Their Lutheran Pastor ran a church that did most services in Norwegian.
While my parents held nothing against this immigrant parish they did not want their children raised in a foreign language speaking congregation. However let me make it clear that this Norwegian Lutheran Church was 100% loyal to America. The members just did not know English well enough to enjoy services in English, at least not THEN! - Note if they were speaking Spanish instead would that be ok? But then again the Norwegian Lutherans now speak English and my bank ATM does not say “press 2 for Norwegian”! - Just a side thought.
Listen to Pastor Wright above and then check out his fellow traveler in the Christian right from the Westboro Baptist Church below who also hates America but for conservative reasons. When we re-examine Senator Obama’s wife’s remarks about America in conjunction with his Pastor’s remarks, I as a prior Obama voter have to thank God for Super Delegates!
I think when the dust settles from this Senator Obama is going to wish he were mainstream Muslim as that would be more acceptable to mainstream America rather than a member of a HATE America (so called) Christian sect. Yes I understand you can have a close relationship with a pastor. My family did. But not when the pastor preaches hate America. In addition this Church is not a liturgical Church where the sermon takes second place to the Sacraments.
The sermon is the core of the church service in a non-liturgical church. Thus one has to wonder about Barrack Obama’s judgment if he continued to maintain a relationship with Jeremiah Wright and his church!
As a member of a liturgical Church (Anglican) where the sermon is less important, I would still walk out of my parish if the priest said “God Damn America”!
Pastor Jeremiah Wright may have brought Barrack Obama to Jesus but one has to wonder what type of Jesus he brought him to! Perhaps the same Jesus as ultra conservative Fred Phelps of West Boro Baptist Church in the video above! By the way Obama is half white! Look at both Obama and his Pastor! Doesn’t Pastor Wright look like he is three fourths WHITE! Really check him out he is could be called “Pastor Bleach”!

I personally don’t like Spitzer as Governor though he did a good job as Attorney General investigating Wall Street. Unless he used state money I believe he should not be forced to resign. Putting this on the nightly news was appropriate but he did not do anything that Bill “Bubba” Clinton did not do.
Well Bill Clinton did balance the budget and this frugality even touched his sex life! He did not let sex interfere with him doing his job in the oval office even if an intern was doing a “FREE” job on him! Elliot “John” Spitzer apparently spent thousands of dollars on his extra-marital flings! But then again he wasn’t preaching “family values” though he did go after prostitution rings. Elliot next time balance your budget! - GET AN INTERN!
I don’t take this lightly but the real issue is how his wife and family view him and his acts. He screwed his wife not the people who elected him! While I wonder about some of his political activities that made the news in the early part of his administration, I do not believe we are the ones to punish or forgive him. That is his wife’s arena!

What’s that you hope blue collar workers get knocked down because you’re a college grad and resent their unions sometimes obtaining for them higher wages than you as a college graduate? You also could not give a krap about Computer Programmers as programmers have automated many White Collar tasks at corporations! Well guess what your non-computer white collar college job is about to be outsourced! The “Walls Street Journal” on March 28, 2007 in their front page cover story outlined how the following White Collar jobs will soon be outsourced!

I am for Barrack Obama. I was originally for John Edwards. By the way while I am a White college grad and do prefer wine and cheese to beer, I am NOT a trust fund baby as some big mouth blue collar union leader accused Senator Obama’s White supporters to be! In fact due to the destruction of the High Tech field I work as a blue collar union worker! I really believe Senator Obama is one smart dude and can bring America together! My only gripe with him is that he made a pun about those who discussed politics in their dorm rooms in the 60’s. Well I am a Bald Hippie! Indeed this blog was originally called “Ranting Bald Hippie”.
