While I am proud to be a Liberal here is one point where I part with my PC Liberal friends. I believe that the Strategic Defense Initiative is a worthy program and goal for our national defense! To believe otherwise is literally “MAD”! During the cold war our national defense deterrence was based on the doctrine of “Mutually Assured Destruction”, or “MAD” for short. Our planet and the human race’s future depended on both sides not loosing their cool and worst “misinterpreting” the other side’s motivation or intention.
MAD worked if our enemies did not have their factual judgment clouded by ideology. For example:
- If the USSR was an Islamic Fundamentalist state and they believed that dying was the way to paradise then MAD would not work.
- If our opponents believed they could withstand a nuclear attack and could come out the stronger in a post WWIII era then the deterrence of MAD would be undermined. Something we have to consider when facing the Chinese with over one billion people. They have a history of losing millions for the sake of their regime as during the Maoist forced collectivization of farms.
There are those in this nation, who like the religious right with their “collective masochism” concerning the so called “Fall of Man” in the Garden of Eden and their religious doctrine of “Apple Theodicy”, argues that man is deserving of punishment. Today’s advocates of “Original Masochism” are not religious but secular. They misuse ecology to argue that man deserves to be made extinct and punished. No I am not arguing that global warming is not real because it is! But these PC liberals take extra delight in wallowing in cultural masochism!
As one commentator on the “McLaughlin Report” phased it concerning ecology, “Jimmy Carter’s idea was to wear a sweeter in the winter and to turn off the Christmas Tree lights”! Americans will never accept a lowering of our standard of living! I am a Liberal and yet I am for the “Strategic Defense Initiative”. Why is it that liberals can toy with the idea of huge “solar collectors” in space that can precision beam energy back to earth without radiating and destroying our cities in an accident, yet cannot believe we can shoot down a missile? Apparently the Chinese have already tested anti-satellite weapons against us as mentioned before in this blog!
Our nation preserves freedom because our military has a deterrent capability against the unsavory element of our planet! I disagree with the Neo-Cons in that I believe we are wasting our deterrent in Iraq when we should be winning in Afghanistan! Freedom does not come freely! Would we want our planet to be subject to the threat of extinction from nuclear war? If we are to prevent this while the Chinese continue their build up we must develop the SDI or “Star Wars” technology and insure that CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS to not sell out America by selling our technology abroad!
First it was the rising use of those flag lapel pins by the very same people who want to demolish our two hundred year old Constitution! Anyone remember the “Enabling Acts” after the Reichstag fire? John McCain and his fellow travelers would do well to learn the “lessons of history” as Barry Goldwater used to say! Now we learn that just as they try to use flag pin labels as was done in the Vietnam War, they relish terrorist attacks so that they can pin them on the Democrats! (See the video below)
Charles Black who is a top McCain consultant said that not only was the Republican cause aided by terrorist attacks but in the recent election the release of the Osama Bin Laden tape may have been strategically timed!
I really get a laugh when these Republicans talk! First they criticize Barrack Obama for stating that he would go after Al Qaeda Central in their Pakistani hinterland sanctuary with or without Pakistani approval! McCain stated this showed a lack of political maturity on Barrack Obama’s part! I guess the correct thing to do, according to McCain is to fight a 100 year war in Iraq, engaging in a costly neo-con social engineering experiment while Al Qaeda Central grows in the Afghan – Pakistan border region. Fueled by the record opium poppy crops coupled with rouge Pakistani nuclear scientists!
This peripheral social engineering experiment in Iraq while the war on terror is being lost in the Al Qaeda Homeland reminds me of the man who was looking for his car keys late at night! A man asked if he could help him and the first man said “yes”. When asked about the details concerning how he lost his car keys the man said, “I lost them two blocks down the road but there is no street light there so I am looking here because there is a street light”! This is the insanity of John McCain and George Bush’s position with the war on terror! So we have permission to be in Iraq but not in remote Pakistan! Better to look where we have permission even while the drug money and rogue Pakistani nuclear scientists combine in a deadly mixture in the Al Qaeda homeland of the Afghan – Pakistani border country!
What do these Republican geniuses believe is going to happen when the money from Afghan record opium sales joins forces with Al Qaeda Central in the Afghan – Pakistani border region and rogue Pakistani nuclear scientists? I will tell you what will happen – A mushroom cloud over one of our cities! But that is ok as big oil is regaining control of Iraqi Oil that they lost under Saddam! While all the fuss is being done in Iraq our borders are wide open as our America’s ports! But if George Bush had his way our ports would be under control of the United Arab Emirates!
Look at how sick these Republicans are:
- They make jokes about Barrack Obama’s middle name being “Hussein” yet they wanted our ports to be under the control of the United Arab Emirates!
- They criticize Barrack Obama for stating he would talk to Iran yet do not criticize Halliburton for having a subsidiary in Iran! You know Halliburton that is the CUT AND RUN CORPORATION that has moved their CEO to Dubai!
The time has come for America’s Silent Majority – our great Middle Class to stand up and say “NO” to John McCain and his fellow traveler George Bush! This SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT in Iraq must come to an end so we can win the war on terrorism!
Once again the Republicans are fearful of the rising of a “Middle Class Consciousness” that is now permeating our society where the Silent Majority of Americans no longer identify and internalize the values of Corporate America! Actually it is hard to use the term “Corporate America” as these cut and run corporations are frequently renouncing their American identity in favor o being identified as “Multi-National Corporations”!
Now these effete snobs of Corporate Collectivism have the “audacity of elitism” to criticize Barrack Obama for the actions of his campaign staff when they removed some Muslim woman from standing behind the podium. Like every campaign they wanted to present a politically viable image! Just imagine the field day that the Republicans would have if those woman where not removed! These fear mongers of the right are sending out their fellow travelers on the internet to make a big issue of Senator Obama’s name! See the video below. They make a big fuss that Senator Obama’s middle name is “Hussein”. You know the same name as the ally of America who was the king of Jordan! But they link that name to Osama Bin Ladin and terrorism!

What drives these Republican effete snobs so insane is that Senator Obama’s name is not a “slave name”. He has the audacity to actually have an authentic “African” name! Hey my grand parents were from Italy and their name was strange to many Americans back then! Today we have the candidate from the Republican Party, Senator “MC” Cain! Hell no one today makes an issue of his Irish name as well they shouldn’t!
Oh my God maybe if Barrack Obama’s name had been “Smith” we would not have videos like the above. Well we had one candidate years ago with that name but he was smeared for his religion by the right wing of both parties! I believe it was Newsweek that used the term “informationally challenged” to describe some of the electorate! Videos like the above are directed to these people as they cannot engage in a rational discussion! Well apparently some are not even aware of the Reverend Wright problem! You cannot be both a Christian and a Muslim! But for some of the “informationally challenged” in America that fact has not penetrated! I would prefer to just call these people “stupid”!
So the next time you hear some stupid smear by these effete snobs of the right remember Barrack Obama is the candidate who wanted to go after Osama Bin Ladin! Senator Obama said we must destroy Al Qaeda in their homeland which is the Pakistan – Afghan border region! Barrack Obama even said if the Pakistani’s would not get Osama Bin Ladin we would launch strikes even inside Pakistan without their permission! But John McCain said that showed Senator Obama’s lack of experience!
Right Senator McCain continue fighting this freak side show in Iraq while the record opium production in Afghanistan funds Al Qaeda Central in their safe Pakistani homeland where rogue Muslim nuclear scientists could join with Al Qaeda to form real WMD!
The time has come for America’s Silent Majority – our great Middle Class to stand up to these effete snobs of corporate collectivism and say NO! Place America first! Vote for Barrack Obama in 2008!
This week we have lost a second newscaster. Conservative Republican talk show host Rush Limbaugh died tragically today! Even this Liberal Democratic blogger has been so shaken that I am converting to Republican! I hope you join me in following Rush Limbaugh’s dream for America! None the less Rush Limbaugh presented on his Monday show his final contribution to America! Surprisingly it was his downfall! On Monday June 16, 2008 Rush Limbaugh told his audience that Corporate America had found a solution to the energy crisis! UNFORTUNATELY Rush Limbaugh’s cutting right wing journalism came to a tragic end today due to his Silicon Valley discovery! While visiting Silicon Valley and the lab with the breeders of this new “fire bug” they forgot the lessons of prior genetic scientists who created the “Killer Bee”. None were supposed to escape but a few did and the rest his history!
Apparently our brave Rush Limbaugh got so caught up in the moment bragging about how these scientists would still be fighting “computer bugs” if they had not lost their jobs to the H1-b Visa program and hence not entered this new productive enterprise of “Bug Breeding for fecal oil” that he did not notice two of these escaped bugs going into his open briefcase! They entered his briefcase not to eat his notes but his ever present supply of Hostess Cupcakes and Twinkies that powered our energetic right wing crusader in his righteous Glorious campaign against Godless Liberals and their degenerate fellow travelers in the Democratic Party!
Tragically after returning home these Silicon Valley Geek produced “super fire bugs” infested his house eating every Hostess Cup Cake and Twinkie in sight! Rush had plenty to feed them with unfortunately! The feisty critters, the superior products of our free enterprise system breed and ate in an orgy of cupcakes and twinkees! While doing so they also moved their bowels and produced synthetic petroleum all over Rush Limbaugh’s home! Our beloved hero passed on when he arose to light his morning breakfast cigar! Instantly both he and his house went up in a BLAZE!
Some would say perhaps it was better this way since Rush Limbaugh’s “OPERATION CHAOS” did not succeed and this would be too much of a heart break for him! There are reports that Rush Limbaugh may have been the first victim of a dastardly Liberal – Al Qaeda coordinated plot! Liberals who are still mourning that the 21st Century Secular Rapture of “The Greening Of America” did not take place may have joined forces with Al Qaeda to bring about “The Burning Of America” as these artificially created bugs now slowly start to migrate all over the United States burning and destroying every thing as they go!
But then again if these bugs ever did escape like the African Bee experiment some years back that resulted in the artificial “Killer Bees”, then these fire bugs would indeed bring about an Al Qaeda like “OPERATION CHAOS”!

Thank God for the H1-b Visa program that pushed these Silicon Valley computer geeks out of computer programming to “bug programming”! Our Free Market At Work!
The Republican Party is once again going to run a smear campaign and “straight talking” John McCain says he doesn’t have any control of the Republican National Committee. When will the Democratic Party get the guts to fight back and stop believing that negative campaigns don’t work? They do work just ask John Kerry! Now we hear that the Republican National Committee is going to go negative and Barrack Obama is setting up a website to counter act the smears! Wow I am impressed – yeah right! The Democrats have got to get in the dirt and fight back hard!
But then again the Democrats won the election in 2006 but did they do anything to stop the war? Hell no! I admit that they would be taking a big gamble if they cut off the funding for the war as Bush and his fellow travelers would use that to paint the Democrats as not supporting the troops! But there are other strategies that the Democrats could use to attack Bush!
- Impeach George Bush. Congressman Dennis Kucinich is attempting to do this currently. The Republicans had no problem driving this country down the impeachment path when Bill Clinton was the President. Don’t the Democrats have any guts to do the same?
- Hold extensive in depth hearings concerning how this nation got into the war and if the decision making process was corrupted by George Bush. Congress has the constitutional right to issue subpoenas to accomplish this mandate. They have done some but they don’t have the guts to do more! Why?
- Hold hearings to at least give George Bush a Congressional Censure concerning changing the “Mission” of the Iraqi Operation from overthrowing Saddam Hussein which was what Congress voted on, to the new mission. That being George Bush’s SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT in Iraq!
- Hold extensive hearings into WAR PROFITEERING and how corporate interests influence decision making processes of our Government! Is Nancy Pelosi a complete chicken?
- George Bush is the Commander in Chief of our Armed Forces yet there is no record of his completed service in the National Guard. If the Democrats don’t have the guts to cut off funding for the war because of patriotic issues concerning our troops, don’t the American people have a right to investigate George Bush’s record in the National Guard? <See the video below>
The Democratic Party has turned into wimps! Yes even www.Moveon.org has turned wimpy. They above video was their commercial and they backed away from it! Now the RNC will use smear tactics and the question is, will Obama continue with his plans to run a cordial town hall debate series with John McCain while this is occurring? Have you noticed the flag lapel controversy that has started up just like in the past during the Vietnam War? While I don’t believe one’s patriotism is measured by wearing a flag pin I am glad Barrack Obama did not fall into their trap!
How about the CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS that have deserted America placing profits over the nation that gave them birth while the BLEEDING HEART REPUBLICANS support them. Such as:
- Halliburton that has a subsidiary in Iran
- ITT that pleaded guilty to selling military technology to China
- General Electric that also is selling equipment to Iran!
What is wrong with the Democrats have they turned into spineless gutless wimps? Time go kick some Republican ass and defend America! This nation’s Silent Majority – our great Middle Class demands The Republican Social Engineering Experiment in Iraq come to and end – NOW! Meanwhile opium production is soaring in Afghanistan as is the growth of the Taliban and Al Qaeda central! Our borders are wide open and Bush even wanted to turn over our ports to the United Arab Emirates! Don’t the Democrats have any spine to stand up to Bush?
