Fox News recently reported that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) had told it’s employees not to talk to reporters! Even worse they also barred them from talking to Congressional Investigators and even their own departmental investigators! I applaud Fox news for actually breaking it’s loyalty to the Republicans and reporting this! This blogger loves to use “Republican Speak”. You know that self righteous lingo which is the cultural pollution of our American Heritage by those who put their CLASS INTEREST first. Oh my God look what I just said! Well let me not simply attack this arrogance of the Bush Administration but use the delightful” Conservative horse shit lingo” that their ads use against Democrats and anyone who does not support their upper class agenda!
We live in an era of “licentious permissiveness” where law breakers who serve the interests of the Corporate Class can snub our laws while the BLEEDING HEARTS of the Republican Party and their fellow travelers in the Libertarian Party do nothing and even condone their actions! This incident with the EPA is just one of many with the Bush Administration has performed! Yet our wimpy Democratic Party leadership does nothing! They hope that by winning the November election they can then simply undo the results of the Bush years. When will they learn the “Lessons of History”!
The wimpy Democratic Congressional leadership is aiding the Republican attack against our Constitution by not fully investigating and confronting:
- The EPA for it’s disgraceful behavior in censoring science and lawful compliance with Congress.
- Former Attorney General Gonzales,
- Karl Rove,
- The Intelligence Apparatus that got us in this war, When will we learn if Bush sent us to war for his own agenda!
- The rampant Cut and Run Corporations who evade our tax laws by setting up phony Head Quarters in small tax haven nations.
The Democrats are perpetuating a culture of Licentious Permissiveness whereby future Administrations, both Republican and Democratic, will feel confident they can avoid responsibility when violating our laws and Constitution! Where the hell is Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid when all the above took place? Why haven’t they done heavy investigatory open hearings and filed contempt citations? Congress has the Constitutional right to even stop the Supreme Court from arbitration of these differences with the Administration! Is it any wonder that Republicans get away with painting liberals and Democrats as “Wimps” in the war on terror when the Democrats are such wimps in politics?
The news media are partially to blame for this! They frequently demonstrate pro-conservative biases yet the Democrats, being the wimps they are, never point it out! By referring to the “Administration” as the “Government” they build in the public’s eye the right of the Administration to not testify before Congress! George Bush does not have the right to secrecy from Congress! Yes I realize there are some cases where executive privilege is needed so the President can get unhindered advice! But this incidence with the EPA is not only ridiculous but part of a pattern of law breaking following by Chronic Wimpy Impotence from the Democratic Party leadership!
Sure the party leaders feel they can avoid confrontation by just wining the November election then right the wrongs of the Bush administration the following year. However they need to learn the “Lessons of History”!
When Adolf Hitler said that “In the moment of crisis he became the Supreme Judge for the German people” the Germans found themselves forever living in a “State Of Crisis”! By being WIMPS, not standing up to Bush and his fellow travelers, the Democratic Congressional leadership is setting precedence that a future Republican or even Democrat President can use to undermine our Constitution and way of life! God help America!
In this era of licentious permissiveness the Silent Majority of America, our great Middle Class, must stand up and demand the Democrats stop being such weak little wimps and put George Bush in his place! Is it any wonder Republicans get away with painting the Democrats as soft on terror when the Democrats are acting as such wimps!
Make the EPA do it’s job and stop undermining science!
I was one of those who were for the Iraqi War with the “Mission” that our Congress in deliberation set as the goal! We won the war and our President, who never finished his own National Guard obligation, then declared “Mission Accomplished”! Now our President, who doesn’t want to follow the goals that Congress committed our troops to accomplish under “a strict constructionalist” interpretation of our Constitution, instead wants to accomplish a different goal. Bush and his fellow traveler John McCain, want to wage a “One Hundred Year” War in Iraq while the opium crop surges in Afgahnistan! These wild eyed Republicans want to commit our nation to a vast Social Engineering Experiment while the sales of Afghan opium production SURGES to swell the treasury of Al Qaeda Central in their border homeland on the Afghan – Pakistani border! John McCain seems to have a problem not only understanding the difference between Sunni and Shiite but where the Al Qaeda Homeland is!

Yet Senator Obama and the Democrats seem to be getting mired in the quicksand of a peripheral issue! That “issue” being the effectiveness of the Iraq Surge! I am not running for political office! I can speak the truth and not care where that leads me! The answer is clearly, yes the surge is working but who the hell cares! That’s right who the hell cares! Everyone knows that the Al Qaeda Homeland was in Afghanistan under the Taliban until we overthrew the Taliban Government. Now they are in the border regions with Pakistan plotting more attacks against our homeland! The old Soviet Union, which had no problem using firing squads to eliminate rebels, could not win in Afghanistan. Since we cannot afford to loose in Afghanistan shouldn’t we end the social engineering experiment in Iraq! We have accomplished our Congressionally mandated Iraqi mission! Let’s deploy all our resources on the War on Terror instead in Afghanistan and the border regions of Pakistan! Our cities could be at stake!
Instead the Democrats allow the Republicans to define the battlefield on this political issue! If John McCain and his fellow traveler Joe Lieberman desire so much to prevent genocide why not forget about Iraq and turn to Darfur? (See the Video Below)
Again I repeat, WHO CARES IF THE SURGE IS WORKING! If we our so concerned about a potential bloodbath what about the already existing GENOCIDE in Darfur!
If we were to invade Jordan then add more troops, a similar surge would also work there too! That does not prove a Jordanian invasion and occupation mission is in the interests of the United States of America! The military does not decide that for America! The President and Congress decide that! The military is to provide the “means to achieve our ends”! The Republicans had better learn the “Lessons of History”!
The Democrats had better learn not simply to “answer questions” but to DEFINE THE QUESTION and ISSUE! Instead we hear Obama answering questions like, what would you do if the conditions on the ground changed?
My answer again is WHO THE HELL CARES! Besides “Mission Accomplished” according to George Bush!
The Iraqi Government wants us out and they are Shiites! Al Qaeda is Sunni and Al Qaeda blew up the most holy Shiite site! The Iraqi’s can take care of the issue better then us with that special Mideast way of dealing with their enemies! If Al Qaeda does find some safe areas then that is what we have “shock and awe” technology for. Well that is unless our CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS don’t sell it to our enemies!
While John McCain and his side kick Joe Lieberman worry about Barrack Obama saying he would “talk to the Iranians”, the Baghdad government our troops are dying for in Iraq is talking to and even visiting Iran! Oh well but then so are Halliburton and General Electric! I guess the Republicans have no problem if stock holders make a profit while our brave troops loose life and limb!
If we are so worried about a “potential” blood bath in Iraq why are we not worried about an “ACTUAL GENOCIDE” in Darfur? Perhaps Senator McCain and his side kick, Joe Lieberman who is constantly at McCain’s side, can answer that! Besides the threat to “our homeland” is not from Iraq but from the Al Qaeda homeland on the Afghanistan – Pakistani border!
In this era of licentious permissiveness ( I love using Republican speak) when wild eyed SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENTS in Iraq are causing a “surge ” in economic problems in our homeland the Silent Majority demand that Bush follow a “strict construcionalist” interpretation of the Congressional Mandate in Iraq that he was given. America’s Middle Class has had enough with Bush and the CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS that deal with Iran!
Barrack Obama For President!
It seems that CBS, that great bastion of liberal news media biases, if you were to believe the ever whining Republican right, has edited their coverage of John McCain so as to not reveal perhaps one of his “senior moments”! Senator McCain seems to have misplaced the time line of the “surge” and a political deal with an Iraqi Sheik! What is worst is that CBS seems to have covered it up. (See Video Below).
What I find even more troubling is that Democrats have repeatedly pointed out that much of the reduction in violence is due to political wheeling and dealing with the various Sunni Sheiks and even militias (Sunni and Shiite) that were once shooting at us! However having such militias is inconsistent with a democracy if that is our goal! But then again we have Black Water there in Iraq and sometimes even on missions in the U.S.
Ah yes we send our troops to die so that:
Government of the Militias,
By the Militias,
And for the Militias will not perish from this earth!
The Democrats keep getting flak when they point out that our goal posts, for the Iraqi Democracy that the Republican SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT is supposed to achieve, keep getting lower and lower! Then the Democrats where attacked as unpatriotic and unsupportive of our troops for not crediting them for the reduction in violence! As if the changing of the militia’s allegiance had nothing to do with it! Aside from the fact that the surge is working but it isn’t the issue (see the following post) we are left with some questions!
- Why is CBS showing pro-conservative news media biases? Just imagine if they edited Obama’s interviews!
- Why is McCain getting away with the myth that he is ready to govern this nation? To be kind he was not having a “senior moment” with the truth that is just a “Republican moment”! Remember “Mission Accomplished” folks?
- Why isn’t the media pointing out how this occupation in Iraq, after five years has not produced results similar to Germany after the fall of the Nazis?
The time has come for Democrats to stop being such God damn wimps and really take on the Republicans and PRO-CONSERVATIVE NEWS MEDIA Biases! By being such wimps on campaign issues they become prey to Republicans smears that Democrats cannot defend America! A wimp is a wimp! Americans support those who talk back! No more John Kerry style campaigns and swift boating!
I am sick and tired of the whining effete snobs of the Republican Party who attack Barrack Obama for being one of the few who wants to win the War on Terror! John McCain and his fellow travelers in the Republican Party attacked Barrack Obama calling him “inexperienced” when Obama stated we cannot allow Al Qaeda to grow uncontested in their mountain redoubts on the border. Barrack Obama stated that if Pakistan would not act he would! Now it seems the Bush Administration is coming around to Obama’s inexperienced ideas! To bad CBS does not give Obama credit though they do stick that annoying ad for the first 15 seconds of this video. It’s not mine folks and I will not embed from CBS in the future except to show their Pro-conservative news media biases! (See the Video below)
Yet the news media allow McCain to make stupid charges against Barrack Obama that he would fight the War on Terror in the courts! Barrack Obama took a lot of heat for his statements several months back that he would attack Al Qaeda in their Pakistani border santuary! He took attacks from John McCain and Hillary Clinton, yet the news media don’t seem to care about giving Obama credit when it is due! In the video below which documents Senator Obama wanting to fight the real War on Terror a long time ago, we see right wing Sean Hannity “then” saying Obama was to much a firebrand! Sean’s co-host takes him to task! Today most forget that it was Barrack Obama who wanted to fight the real War on Terror in the Afgahan – Pakistani border region. (See Video Below)
Oh the whining if this had been in reverse! Yet the Democrats don’t have the guts to point out how the news media can also serve the conservatives. But then again the Democrats are so spineless that they have not Impeached George Bush for lying about the War. Nor have they arrested Karl Rove for Contempt of Congress! One again I ask this!
QUESTION: What is similar to Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and why?
ANSWER: George Bush’s completed service record in the National Guard! Like Iraqi WMD neither can be found!
The Silent Majority of Americans, our great Middle Class, would love to see the spineless Democrats stand up to these effete snobs of corporate class privilege and the news media that cowers to them!
We hear the whine from these wild eyed advocates of the Neo-con SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT in Iraq that the Democrats are against our troops! These bleeding hearts of appeasement to Corporate America that continues to trade with Iran, while that nation sends supplies to kill our brave troops, do not even have faith in our troops! The US State Department uses Backwater to protect embassy staff rather than fully using our Marines and Army. (See Video Below that lists an incident over a year ago that still has not been corrected)
When Democrats point out that this is a civil war and that much of the recent reduction in violence was the result of low level diplomatic talks with Sunni Militias to have them switch sides, the Republicans then said that the Democrats where trying to demean our troops. Yet it has been over a year now since a report from NBC News stated that we are not giving our troops the latest in body armor to protect them! (See the video below)
Not to mention the scandal concerning Walter Reed Hospital and our injured veterans, nor the recent attempts by Bush and his fellow travelers in the republican party to limit benefits to our troops!
In this era of licentious permissiveness where the effete snobs of corporate America do business with Iran, trading valuable technology that can be used against our brave troops, the time has come for the Republicans to learn the lessons of history! Profit must not be allowed to come before our troops!
Yet George Bush, John McCain and their fellow travelers continue to attack Barrack Obama for saying he would first “talk” to Iran. Apparently it is alright for Halliburton to have a subsidiary in Iran while it profits from the War in Iraq and General Electric was not stopped when they sold valuable technology to Iran! The type of “talking” that benefits the effete snobs of the “Corporate Class” is perfectly permissible to John McCain and his mentor George Bush!
The time has come for America’s Silent Majority, our Middle Class to stand up and say NO to those who say politics ends at our shores but corporate profits do not!
Barrack Obama said today that our children should learn to speak Spanish! Well why not my grandparent’s language which was Italian? Why the racism that puts Spanish over my grand parent’s native “Italian? My grandparents insisted that no one should learn Italian until the fourth generation as our family would then have been totally assimilated! I am sick and tired of the RACISM that every American is subjected to when we use an ATM machine.

Excuse me Senator Obama this is America! My grand parents had to learn English, and they were legal, why should we be subjected to this RACISM that makes Spanish the equivalent of our national language? (See Video below)
I remember when Hilary Clinton was considered the inevitable candidate to win. However the issue of then NY Governor Spitzer’s desire to grant driving licenses to illegal aliens came up in the debate! Hillary Clinton did the classic double speak and she went downward from that movement forward. I believe Barrack Obama has meet his Waterloo if Republicans sieze on this! But then again John McCain wants to fight a one hundred year war while our borders remain wide open and his corporate friends profit from cheap labor!
I do not blame the ILLEGAL ALIENS in our midst for this bi-lingual crisis. The problem lies with an unholy coalition of business interests, some Hispanic political groups and the Roman Catholic Church. I would even grant illegal aliens amnesty so long as:
- It is called that and not “earned citizenship” as it is not earned when my family in Italy has to wait while these illegal’s cross and break our laws doing so!
- The borders are locked down and certified as such by a committee headed by Lou Dobbs!
- Those who hire illegal aliens are prosecuted!
- English is declared the “Official” language of the United States with special status accorded to Native American Languages!
- No ballots are printed in any language other than English and no one would be eligible to take the naturalization oath until they can read, write and speak fluent English!
I believe Americans demand an end to the racism that propagates this bilingualism over the culture of other ethnic groups that have come to this country! Senator Obama had better wake up and stop this elitism! He has shown great promise now he seems to be undermining his candidacy! By the way I am a liberal Democrat who was first for John Edwards then for Barrack Obama! But I am 100% percent against “politically correct liberalism”! Senator Obama’s statements give me pause to reconsider supporting him!
The time has come for America’s Silent Majority to stand up and take our nation back from these effete snobs of PC Liberalism on one side and Corporate Collectivist Republicans on the other!
