I worked for these scum bags at AIG! They made the average white collar employee feel their job was on the line every year. Naturally right before Christmas. Just their way of saying “Merry Christmas”. AIG used a term called “Re-Org” which they did constantly. Employees would loose their jobs and get new ones soon after but the “Pension Clock” would start over. What I find amazing is that Republicans, who are the friends of these Corporate effete snobs, are now trying to “leverage” themselves as the champions of public and populist rage against this company that benefited from the Republican de-regulation frenzy!

I support President Barrack Obama as does the author of the video above. But we must really go after these bastards! No quarter for them and their like who would benefit from government intervention years ago to change the employment field for “white collar” computer professionals. There used to be a time when if you worked hard in America you had a future. Many of us took computer programming courses hoping to advance in a market that was favorable to the technology field. Now thanks to the H1–b Visa program computer programmers are actually “unionizing” because companies like AIG would hire outside firms to replace their computer programmers with foreign H1-b workers! Then the conservatives whine that no one wants to study computers in college! Reminds me of Ann Rand and her book/statement “Atlas Shrugged!”

Ah but AIG has such a heart! They let their employees train their replacements first then FIRE THEM! Every college grad who is reading this should know their profession can be next! When you hear nonsense about “Retraining Blue Collar Workers” to met the new needs of a technological society” I suggest you check the Programmers Guild website and blog along with affiliated organizations!

The upper class is waging WAR ON THE MIDDLE CLASS! Make no mistake about it. This is no longer just a blue collar issue!

• How come the “Contracts” to AIG Execs are so scared yet “UNION CONTRACTS” to Auto Workers are not?
• Why should anyone earn millions of dollars in just one year in a bonus when the President of The United States, who has far more responsibilities, earns only $400k? Note I don’t care even if these execs did not fail but where successful! Who are they to earn so much money then me or any member of this society? Did they create a cure for cancer, heart disease or aids?

The time has come to take our nation back from these effete snobs of privilege! AIG even had a “Socialist Countries” profit division in the 1980’s before the fall of the Soviet Union. “Profit before country!”

No one is against those who make innovations being rewarded! But April 15^th is the day to check in with REALITY! Europe still has millionaires and even billionaires yet their nations enforce “social responsibility”. Oh I guess the law and order Republicans find the word “responsibility” distastestful! At least George Bush did when he never served the required time in the National Guard. But what the hell he is one of our social betters!

REPEAL THE REGAN TAX CUTS NOW!

Remember when George Bush wanted to divert funds from Social Security for “Private Investment Accounts?” He wanted to play the young against the old and also try to make even those with little income identify with the richer elements of the investor class by owning stock! Well now they are at it again! They have taken Obama’s criticism of McCain and used it out of context against him. Today one of Obama’s economic team stated that the economy is fundamentally sound. The Republicans and the news media then tried to link that with McCain’s statement from the campaign. See the video below and how the right wing is using it to smear Obama.

When McCain said that he was trying to prove his belief that little or no government intervention is needed. When Obama today says “that the economy is sound” he is saying that for two valid reasons:

1. He understood that the economy was NOT sound, now as President he has taken big steps to correct it.  With those steps now taken now he can make the statement that the fundamentals of the economy are strong! McCain on the other hand with his do nothing Republicans only wanted to create more tax cuts for the rich and increase their wealth redistribution program away from the Middle Class and toward their fellow travelers in the Upper Class.
2. As President, after taking strong action rather than saying Government is the problem, President Obama has said “Government is the solution!” Thus it is now IMPERATIVE to increase consumer confidence! If he did not talk positive then he would be, and already was,  criticized for being to negative by the Republicans!

Dr. Christina Romer is not a political analyst and hence was red meat to the talk show host here who wanted to score some points. Yes now imagine if instead it was Sarah Palin who said that. The right wing would be all over the news media that the news media is biased.

Where are these right wing Republicans when Rush Limbaugh (their leader) says he wants our President to fail?

The time has come to take our nation back from these effete snobs of privilege! I am mad not only that corporate CEO’s are making millions while destroying our economy! But when the President of the United States with all his responsibilities only makes $400K who are these CEO’s even if they do good to make such money?

The time has come to raise our CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS (oh dear did I say something wrong) and ask WHY SHOULD SOMEONE BE MAKING SO MUCH MORE THAN THE AVERAGE AMERICAN? WHAT ARE THEY CONTRIBUTING TO SOCIETY? No I don’t mind a doctor or lawyer making three times my salary. But when I see this ridiculous wealth curve and their influence via the “K-TAX” on our political decision making processes of our society, then I believe we must use our democracy to bring about SOCIAL RESPONSIBLY!

Who are these people to make so much more money then the rest of us! We need a  PROGRESSIVE INCOME TAX to reward the PRODUCERS in this society! That is to say the great Silent Majority, the American Middle Class!

China has challenged us at sea! She has harrassed our naval ship, USNS Impeccable! Last year she shot a laser  beam at one of our satellite and temporarily blinded it. I am a Non-PC Liberal. I expected this. Now we have to wonder if the “CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS” who cared more for free trade and making a profit than for the nation that gave them birth, protection and incorporation will try to slime their way out of this one!

Perhaps instead they will now advocate it is time to switch “profit $trategie$ and build up the American military industrial complex after they financed the Chinese base for so many years at the expense of America and our Middle Class! Just like they financed Haliburton which had a subsidiary in Iran and has now moved it’s corporate HQ to Dubai!

If China does not back away from being belligerent then we should CANCEL all foreign debt that we owe to her! Let those investors who wished to be the consorts of America’s enemy loose their stock holdings in Chinesse companies when the Chinese nationalize those holdings!

Yesterday I read that Bernie Madoff wants to keep $69 Million and his penthouse apartment! Maybe we should follow ancient Babylonian law and have separate tables of punishment based on social class! I heard one bleeding heart on Fox News try to argue his case! Well I have an idea for Mrs. Madofff. Assuming she is not part of this and she has to now figure out what to do since her lavish lifestyle looks like it is in jeopardy I have a solution:

In his book, “Success Through A Positive Mental Atitude“, Insurance tycoon W. Clement Stone, speaking about earning riches in America says, “Got a problem – GREAT!”.  So using the pick yourself up Horatio Alger philosopy I would amonish Mrs. Madoff to remember this is a free market economy! Why not try working like other senior citizens as a cashier at WAL-MART? Hey thank God this happened to her in America and not some awful socialist country like Sweden! Do you remember “George Sanders” who long after retirement started with a DREAM in this great environment of our FREE MARKET Capitalist System and went on to become the world renowned “Colonel Sanders”!

Hey if he can do it then anyone can do it – RIGHT? So join the rest of us Mrs. Madoff.

Look at the results of what Bernard Madoff did to others who placed their life savings in his trust. No I do not wish Mrs. Madoff harm unless she was a part of the scheme.

My point is what about the SILENT MAJORITY of Americans who have to EARN A LIVING! The President of the United States, with all his responsibilities over global nuclear war and climate change, recieves a mere $400K per year! The time has come when we have to ask,

• Who are these people to command such salaries as corporate CEO’s, earning millions per year and to have such wealth”?
• What contribution have they made to our society?

The time has come for America’s Silent Majority to stand up, our great Middle Class, and to say enough is enough!

ROLL BACK NOT ONLY THE BUSH TAX CUTS BUT THE REAGAN TAX CUTS ALSO!

This nation has paid over $150 Billion just to AIG. Instead of worrying about this insurance giant and their stockholder’s  “SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT” what about the SILENT MAJORITY of America who could benefit instead from this bail-out money being spent on Universal Health Care! AIG is the company that did not ship high tech jobs overseas but instead fired many of their computer programmers to instead turn over their jobs to H1–b foreign workers! Oh but AIG has morals! They let them train their replacements first!

I used to work for AIG. They made it an institutional practice, as did many banks, to hire PERMANENT TEMPS!

Temporary employees are ethically used to cover periodic shortages in the work force. However these people were there 52 weeks per year, 8 hours a day and five days per week! As permanent temps they did not have to give them vacation, sick leave, pensions or medical benefits. The then CEO “Hank” Greenberg was not know to us as “Hank” Greenberg, as he is listed in the Wall Street Journal but as “Maurice Richard Greenberg”. He would sign his name on company documents with his initials as “MR GREENBERG!”.

Oh yes AIG had it’s annual holiday ritual called “Re-org”. This is when rumors would fly that jobs would be cut and everyone would be stressed out! This was in the so called good times!

One final note on AIG and temp workers! They even maintained their own internal “Temp Agency”. That way if a temp worker was made permanent they would not have to pay the agency fee! This practice was also utilized by many banks!

My fellow democrats need to learn an important lesson. Out-sourcing and off shoring are not just a blue collar issue! White collar employees are also subject to this. We are forced to read stupid stock reports then go to job interviews and “make believe” we give a shit! Like my interests are the same interests of the stock holders! “Profit” and Ayn Rand style “rational greed” are only for our Social Betters while employees are to subvert their “rational greed” to the greed of the CORPORATE COLLECTIVISTS!

No that does not mean we should not be team players. But I am tired of suppressing my class needs to the owners of the CORPORATE COLLECTIVE! I am tired of paying hidden taxes to my social betters in the form of added prices for goods and services or lower wages to fund their K-Street activities!

Make no mistake about it! We face an issue of two city – states! Both are contradictory and try to supress the other. Politics is but the story of their conflict!

• In the first the motto is “One dollar then one vote!”.
• In the second city the dynamic is “One person then one vote!” Our nation is now deciding what motto it will be that guides our Republic!

Money that goes to K-Street is funding the ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS of the social elites! Just look at how America has developed a huge trade deficit! If our guiding principle was “one person – one vote” then we would have “fair trade” not so – called “free trade”.

The time has come for the Silent Majority – our great Middle Class to stand up to these effete snobs of privilege! No more money for AIG. The time has come to NATIONALIZE AIG! God Bless America!
