This nation had to endure the endless self righteousness of the Tea Party and their “twin enablers”! Those twin enablers being:

Republicans and their fellow travelers at FoxNews!

Testosterone challenged Barrack Obama who allowed this Tea Party cancer to redirect the definition of America’s job crisis from one stimulus to how much and how fast we can destroy the New Deal! Unlike the Tea Party that was funded by the Koche brothers, the Occupy Wall Street movement is a genuine grass roots organization not a AstroTurf movement!

Recently FoxNews interviewed a Occupy Wall Street protester and tried to discredit the movement. Apparently the protester was not aware that the banks paid back and FoxNews tried to spin this that the banks are the victims!

#Banksters Paid Back The Loans By Usury

Sure the banks paid back their loans from the Federal Government. However the banks are still a big part of the problem.

Their executives could not receive big bonuses until the loans were paid back!

Amazing isn’t it that regular saving accounts pay a pittance in interest while bank loan interest is very high and credit card interest is through the ceiling! The Financial Reform Act does not end usury because most Democrats have decided to “play” liberal inside the monied confines of the CORPORATE SANDBOX!

Casino leveraging practices are still at an all time high. But the new laws give us a pittance of a insurance pool.

Great work Obama this is “Change We Can Believe In”!

FoxNews Media Biases

Fox News constantly mentions that the #Occupy Wall Street Movement has no goals! This is nonsense the overall goal is to end the corporate take over of our society, protect and enhance the New Deal and to restore the American Dream to our youth!

What good is it if not only blue collar jobs but white collar jobs are being off shored in the service of our social betters? It’s not that FoxNews doesn’t understand the #OccupyWallStreet movement, they do! But now the issue is not just blue collar jobs but college jobs that have been off shored while college grads are burdened with debt!

In the old days discontent was relived with the saying “go west young man go west”! Today hope is peddled by the lure of a college degree. But what good is that degree if you are burdened in debt and the career you hoped for is off shored? Meanwhile the Republicans and their Corpocrat Democrat allies join in singing the “Corporatist Internationale”! Their roster includes not simply former President Bush but Obama and the Clintons!

The pillaging of America by our social betters has gone on to long! We want a restoration of the American dream and FoxNews is against that!

Maybe FoxNews can tell us:

What are America’s specific goals in Iraq after a decade of our troops dying and the costs of the war going through the ceiling?

Why should some grass roots citizens create specifics while our military could not give us benchmarks in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Now that the government in Afghanistan has said it will go to war with us to side with Pakistan what are America’s goals there?

Afghanistan’s opium production is still number 1 in the world and it is financing terrorism! Is that our goal for sending our troops to die in that God forsaken country?

Where are the death panel jobs? I am a life long Democrat and have a degree in Sociology (we all know that is the same as socialism). I was just tickled pink (bad choice of words) to learn from Fox News that Obama was creating a job that would fit me perfectly. That is to say being a member of my local county death panel! But I cannot find a SINGLE job posting for these positions and we know FoxNews would never lie to us!

More Fox News Media Biases

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

FoxNews has gone ballastic about the way #OccupyWallStreet protesters dress! Maybe they should dress like the Tea Party with those studpid Tea Bag laden hats while they carry loaded guns around! I bet if the Occupy Wall Street protesters carried guns the police would be hesitant to beat them!

How come it was alright for Tea Party demonstrators to carry guns while their Republican supporters made outrageous statements like Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich. They talked about the “tree of liberty needing to be watered with the blood of patriots”! Bachmann said she wanted to see her supporters “armed and dangerous”!

Rick Perry talked about Texas secession and Sarah Palin has connections to the Alaskan Independence Party. Imagine if Obama was involved with Black separatism.

FoxNews has a double standard.

The myth of the news media being liberally biased started during the Vietnam War when then Vice President Spiro Agnew acting as the attack dog for Richard Nixon tried to make Americans believe the news media had a liberal biases! The truth of the matter was quite different. But I will go into that in this post as I don’t want to bore my younger readers who were not around in the late 60′s and early 70′s.

Some Recent Examples Of pro-conservative news media biases:

George Bush Jr. seems to have a lapse of memory when it comes to his mandatory requirement to finish his service in the National Guard! The news media have decided to not keep this issue in the public’s eye while he sent troops to die in Iraq and Afghanistan! Yet patriotism is always an issue for Republican voters so why the lapse?

Sweet Sarah Palin from Alaska is our second example. It seems she and her hubby loved Alaska so much they flirted with secession for their state! Sarah Palin even attended Alaskan Independence Party meetings with her hubby who was a formal member. Apparently talking patriotism while flirting with secession is just “peachy kean” with Sarah Palin!

Michelle Bachmann and her rants about watering the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots! God if we liberals ever said something like that durning the Vietnam War we would have the flag waving pseudo patriots all over us calling for “Law and Order”!

Governor Rick Perry also a secessionist! Where is the condemnation?

Howard Dean’s candidacy was killed because the mighty lords of the news media did not like that he did a motivation boasting yell while addressing his campaign workers! The result was that we Democrats were “blessed” with the energetic John Kerry as our nominee. John Kerry almost put Sominex out of business as just watching him give a speech could put you to sleep!

However in all of the examples above you can also blame our beloved Democratic Party for being the wimps that they always seem to be. God forbid they should talk up and attack the news media for their pro-conservative biases!

New Media Black Out On Wall Street Protests

Can you imagine if the Tea Party had a demonstration and the news media did not cover them? Well the news media is not covering the demonstrations on Wall Street! What does it take to get these corporate sponsored effete snobs to do their jobs and cover these news events? Below Keith Olbermann discusses what is going on!

You can also view the protest group’s website. It is:

https://occupywallst.org

When will Democrats stop being wimps and challenge the conservative notion that the news media has a liberal biases? Sure there are some instances but I believe the case can be made even more forcefully for the opposite view that our news media has a pro-conservative tilt!

Imagine if this were a Tea Party crowd in the video below? FoxNews would be screaming news media biases and demand coverage of the protests!

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

What is amazing is that this video reminds me of the hippie era! But there is a difference. While there is no draft many young people cannot find a job and they are up to their ears in debt because they believed in the dream of a higher education! This issue of off shoring is not just about blue collar jobs but white collar jobs also!

The next time you hear of the bromide that lost blue collar jobs can replaced with education and training I suggest you look around and witness the state of our economy!

We have a Social Contract in this society and the effete snobs of privilege have broken that contract so they could turn our economy into a casino for their elitist hedge fund speculations while the middle class suffers!

I have decided to REVERSE my position here on Ron Paul. Thus I have rewritten this post! Originally I wrote a supportive post concerning him that was touched off by the video clip below from the Jon Stewart Show. It seems Ron Paul is being the subject of discrimination by not only the regular news media but FOX NEWS as well.

Basically Jon Stewart did a funny video clip showing how Ron Paul is being ignored by not only CNN but Fox News. (See video below)

Ron Paul Gets What He Deserves

As I write this hurricane Irene is raising havoc on the east coast of the United States and Ron Paul feels that the Federal Government should not assist the victims. I say go to HELL Ron Paul. When 400 individuals in this nation have more wealth than the bottom 150 million there is something wrong in this country. We have to stop believing the lie that the rich deserve their wealth.

Middle Class Americans have to have a sense of belief in themselves! Why should someone earn more in one day than you earn in a year? What could they possibly be doing to earn such amounts of wealth! We need to believe in ourselves and stop idolizing the rich! Sure some should earn 3 or four times the average income. But 400 having more income than 150 million combined? Give me a break.

Poor babies are those nasty liberals going to bring down the wealth of the top 400 to match not 150 million but a mere 15 million? Oh how can we liberals do such a thing to our social betters! They work so much harder than you and me!

Ron Paul makes the corporation supreme. Well the news media are corporations and if he is being ignored by them – TOUGH!

Ron Paul even wants to eliminate the minimum wage! see video below.

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

You see my friends as a liberal I want to be fair handed. So when I saw the Jon Stewart video above I felt that even though I did not support Ron Paul, fairness means we should support him getting a fair shake from the corporate person called “FOX NEWS”. But after reflection I say:

GO TO HELL RON PAUL AND YOUR SON RAND PAUL TOO!

Howard Dean Also A Victim Of The News Media

Remember how the news media killed Howard Dean’s candidacy because he let out a war cry? I heard Rick Santorum do the same but they never criticized him for being enthusiastic. So I suggest Jon Stewart should not worry about Ron Paul and his corporate fellow travelers! Let’s tax them to oblivion!

Recently Rachel Maddow mentioned on her show that Al Qaeda told their American recruits to purchase guns in America at local gun shops and gun fairs. The reason being that it was easier to just buy the weapons in America then to transport them from Al Qaeda bases in far off regions! People who are on the FBI Terrorist Watch List can make gun purchases here and some have done so. Why even have such a list if they can make purchases. This raises three issues in my mind.

While those on the FBI Terrorist Watch List don’t have to go through a background check to buy a gun those who risked their lives as 9-11 First Responders do have to go through a back ground check to get money for their hospital bills. They have to prove they are not terrorists!

This story was not covered on the national news media!

We can wiretap and regulate communications but not weapons.

9-11 First Responders Insulted Once Again

How can we allow those on the Terrorist Watch List to not have a back ground check while those who risked their lives to protect us and now suffer from their brave and patriotic acts are required to prove they are not terrorists themselves before they can receive financial aid? Where is the public outrage? This is not just the fault of Republicans but Democrats have allowed the WTC First Responders to be burdened with this insulting requirement.

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Has Obama Caused Progressives A Testosterone Reduction?

Where is the liberal outrage! Why aren’t liberals screaming ANTI-LIBERAL NEWS MEDIA BIASES? Yes we know Obama is a wimp but I am not talking about the Republican wing of the Democratic Party but about REAL liberals and Progressives! Why have Progressives allowed the news media to get away with so much Pro-Conservative News Media Biases! We had to endure year after year of the Iraq War with talk about the dangers of pulling out to the civilian population yet coverage of DARFUR was at a minimum!

With the exception of a few Progressives, the myth of the news media being slanted to the left is allowed to continue! WHY?

Right Wing Worries About Sharia Law Not Gun Shows

Amazing isn’t it how Newt Gingrich and his fellow travellers can spew their fears to the informationally challenged that America is going to have Sharia Law imposed on us while terrorists can easily buy guns at local gun shows!

This Progressive Social Democrat however is not entirely against the NRA! We may well need patriotic Americans to own fire arms when the corporate plutocrats have Backwater patrolling our streets in the near future. Further I believe the Constitution does indeed provide for a balanced ownership of firearms by the citizenry as the final line of defense for our democracy! It must be remembered that in those days the state militias where composed of men who could meet the call and had THEIR OWN FIREARMS to do so. There was no National Guard and today some states also maintain a militia that is independent of the National Guard. New York State even has it’s own navy!

Yet again we have more evidence that the news media is not liberally biased but actually functions as an agent of a conservative worldview! Everyone knows that Fox News is a mere right wing propaganda machine but what about the rest of the news media? Why have they let Mubarak slip under the radar? The rebellion in Egypt raises several questions in regard to our nation’s foreign policy and the general capacity of our political decision making processes!

If our news media is so left wing oriented why did they participate in the cover-up of the simmering crises in Egypt until now when it cannot be covered up?

Why did the news media hardly pay attention to the genocide in Darfur?

Why is it that every thing we buy in America seems to have “made in China” printed on it. Yet when the Egyptian dictatorship cracked down on the freedom loving youthful demonstrators they were met with tear gas that was made in America! The tear gas canisters that were collected afterward had marked on them “made in the USA”!

Latter day Bushites are trying to claim that the inspiration for the revolt came from our “democratization” of Iraq and Afghanistan! – Really I did not know we had made either nation into a democracy!

George Washington And The Prime Directive

Our nation faces several tough decisions. The same we had to make in the Vietnam War.

Back the dictator because he is our friend.

Encourage the democratic forces which could lead to destabilization.

Exercise the PRIME DIRECTIVE as laid out in both Star Trek and by our Founding Fathers. That is to stay out of the affairs of foreign nations and maintain our independence!

First I find it laughable that Republicans who backed literal Nazi loving General Ky as the dictator of South Vietnam would try to take credit for the Egyptian revolution. That is unless it goes sour then they will make Obama out to be the 21st Century Jimmy Carter. When faced with over throwing the corrupt regime of the Iranian Shah, Jimmy Carter stood by and did not help the Shah. The problem is that in third world countries their idea of democracy is one person, one vote – ONE TIME!

Our Founding Fathers knew this would happen and wanted to keep our nation out of trying to effect things we cannot control. Yes even in this age of nuclear weapons we could wipe every man, woman and child off the face of the earth but we still can not make the world democratic! Just as in the series “Star Trek”, our Founding Fathers realized that intervention interferes with the “evolution” (oh dear I said a bad word) of a foreign society and it’s culture. The only rationale for intervention is if it effects us!

What our Founding Fathers realized is that in most lands they follow the principle of “One Gun = One Vote! Our nation, while it had problems, was founded on the principle of “One Person = One Vote”! But then again modern day Republicans have a different idea, they believe in “One Dollar = One Vote”!

Economic Patriots Vs. The Corporate Collectivists

We must strive to make our nation “independent” of the world global economy and globalization! We need ECONOMIC PATRIOTS who will legislate to protect American jobs and technology. We need ECONOMIC PATRIOTS who will fight to have Green Technology to make our nation independent of mid-east oil and the threat of global warming! Instead we live in an “era of permissiveness” where our jobs, wealth and even national security are shipped overseas to serve the class interest of the effete snobs of privilege!

President Washington was correct. But then in his day they fought global corporations like the “British East Indian Tea Company”! The original Tea Party was to fight CORPORATE COLLECTIVISTS who undermine individual freedom! Today that fight continues as Progressives try to fight corporate off shoring of American jobs and technology.

There is no freedom without gainful employment! Yet today the enemies of Individual Freedom, the Corporate Collectivists, want to strip the dignity of American blue collar and white collar employees by shipping our jobs overseas! Their “FREEDOM” to earn money by walking out the front door to the mail box to collect a dividend check is more important than our “Freedom” to walk out the door each day to a gainful job, health care and a pension. Not to mention social security at age 65!

There were no real giant corporations operating in America in George Washington’s day. We were a nation of independent yeoman farmers, small city craftsmen and small business owners! Today, however our society’s decision making processes are being corrupted by organized money!

Is it any wonder that the warnings of President Eisenhower go unheeded! Unlike George Washington’s era we need a strong standing military. But the “decision making processes” of our society are being corrupted to favor foreign interventions and reckless neo-con SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENTS such as Iraq and Afghanistan!

President Eisenhower, a Republican, even saw the danger of this new situation better than most Democrats as you can see from the video above! Thank God some Republicans have broken ranks (at least for now) and helped to end the powers of the so called “Patriot Act”. This act is nothing more than an American version of the 1933 German “Enabling Act”. When the German Parliament building was burned Hitler claimed to need defensive powers to defend the constitution! The entire history of the Third Reich was a mere continuation of this “Enabling Act”!

When I see companies like Blackwater having armed troops inside the boundaries of the United States I start to believe every liberal and progressive should consider joining the NRA and owning a rifle. I am sick of seeing right winger’s talk about the need to own rifles to defend against us liberals turning American into a Nazi concentration camp!

President Eisenhower foresaw the danger of the “Military Industrial Complex” and he even coined the term itself. If he were alive today he would be horrified to see so called American corporations taking not only our jobs but giving our technology to the enemies of freedom for a profit. Guess who will be back on American shores to make a profit when China developers her military and we have to answer that threat? You guessed it – the CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS!

We don’t need to go on a massive military build up!

But we need to stop these Benedict Arnold corporations from using our national assets against us to make a profit! We are protecting the regime in Beijing from popular unrest due to unemployment at the sacrifice of the gainful employment of our middle class! All the while Republicans and their fellow travelers, corporate Democrats, sing the “Corporatist Globalization Internationale” with it’s lyrics of “effete snobs of privilege unite”!

Egypt is just one more chapter! The time has come for the Silent Majority – our great Middle Class to stand up and to raise the progressive income tax back to Eisenhower era levels of 91% and increase the estate tax to bring about an equalization of opportunity. We want the children of billionaires to enjoy a land of equal opportunity!

Gosh golly Keith Olbermann made some campaign contributions to three candidates! For God sakes it’s not like Keith Olbermann was pretending to be Walter Cronkite! Keith Olbermann is by his own admission an “advocacy journalist”. Besides Keith Olbermann is just like a corporation he can make contributions! Well maybe not since he could not keep the secret! But then some “news” corporations don’t care! For example the so called “fair and balanced” FoxNews, makes massive contributions to Republicans and their entire so called “news channel” is just a Republican Party soap box! Please sign the petition at Bold Progressives to reinstate Keith Olbermann!

I actually heard one FoxNews member invite every small Tea Party group to tell them of every event they were holding so they could cover it! Perhaps MSNBC is trying to appear different than FoxNews by having outright disclosure of Campaign contributions to compete with Fox in an “image war”! That is fine and understandable. But Keith Olbermann should be given a mere slap on the wrist compared to what goes on at FoxNews on a daily biases!

FoxNews has presidential wanna bees Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee not to mention that bastion of logic Glenn Beck who hosted a Washington DC Rally! Agreed it is better for MSNBC members to be forthright in terms of campaign contributions but Keith Olbermann should not be crucified for a minor violation.

How MSNBC and FoxNews Should Handle Keith Olbermann Situations

As a proud progressive and liberal I believe both MSNBC and FoxNews can better serve their goals by the following methods.

Each show should announce it is a News Commentary and/or Analysis from either the liberal or conservative viewpoint!

Identify shows that are “strictly news” as news. On both channels after 4 PM no show meets that criteria! That’s fine just call them commentaries or news analysis shows and list the host’s political self identification!

In America today we have a new “genre” of TV Programs with both “Countdown” by Keith Olbermann and “The O’Reilly Factor” being examples of that genre from opposite viewpoints and worldviews.

It is a joke to call FoxNews a pure news channel. MSNBC is also not a pure news channel. I only watch MSNBC because I am a liberal. I am honest! Both are examples of a new genre of TV programming and both equally are advocates on opposite sides. My point is that MSNBC also needs to identify itself as part of this new “genre”. While it doesn’t have the word “news” in it’s name it none the less leaves itself open to the same criticism that honest folks have about FoxNews! Both have a view point and that is fine! Just be open that it not pure news so that low information voters understand there is “rah rah” involved!

I love the way both now have taken a similar slogan. “Lean forward” (MSNBC) and “Move Forward” (FoxNews). As a liberal I wish MSNBC took the Fox slogan it is more “active” in this age of a passive so called liberal President! Then again FoxNews has Carl Rove and the NLP crowd!

The bottom line is that if MSNBC wants to be open and differentiate itself from FoxNews bys suspending Keith Olbermann then they should also be open that they are a primarily liberal channel! This from a liberal!

MSNBC, as does FoxNews, have contributors from the opposite side of their primary focus. It is perfectly fine for Fox to be conservative and MSNBC to be liberal. Both however should state that this new “genre” of “news analysis/commentary” exists and that they do indeed have a primary focus. News shows should be labeled as such and commentary likewise with the prospective of the show listed on EACH SHOWING! Keith Olbermann should not be MSNBC’s scapegoat!

BRING BACK KEITH OLBERMANN!

As a Social Democrat I would prefer to deal with the Mosque near Ground Zero after the election because I am admittedly a pragmatist and don’t want the Republicans to win. But after listening to The Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann Shows I have come to the conclusion that there is a case for ANTI-LIBERAL NEWS MEDIA BIASES concerning Obama and the Mosque issue!

First has anyone heard Senator Harry Reid’s full comments on Obama’s flip flop on the Mosque? Senator Reid spoke about the lack of Republican support for those injured at Ground Zero? Since the Republicans seem so intense about the sacredness of “Ground Zero” you would expect them to fork up some cash to those brave first responders! Did the news media make as much of an issue concerning the Republicans not supporting a Democrat bill to provide relief to those first responders who are suffering from the after effects of the WTC pollution? The answer is no! The news media only made an issue of the Mosque, and from most news media reports, the Mosque was going to be on Ground Zero! However the truth is the exact opposite! (See the video below by Keith Olbermann). Why is the news media saying the Mosque is going to be on Ground Zero and why don’t they challenge the Republicans when they say such lies? Why is the news media spinning the truth with a right wing slant? This is not just Fox News where you would expect such nonsense but all the news channels!

This still does not excuse President Obama opening up this can of worms when we liberals are suffering enough from his lack of testosterone to advance the progressive agenda on health care, Main Street over Wall Street or credit card reform. Then again we have to ask where we would be with out Keith Olbermann and similar progressive commentators such as the Young Turk’s since our Democratic Party politicians seem to be just as wimpy as Obama.

Why does Obama “choose” to engage in the Mosque battle when he could have shown some testosterone in the defense of Gay marriage? Instead he made the choice to focus on defending Islam! But then again Obama has his priorities all mixed up to start. How can you allow month after month of death panel talk to go unchecked? Democrats are so impotent they are allowing Republicans to steal the issue of advocacy of Main Street while they try to label us as the champions of Wall Street. Hmm but then again the money is flowing to Democratic politicians and Harry Reid got loads from the pharmaceutical industry! Gosh golly where did the public option disappear to?

Yes this watered down Health Care Bill and the impotent stimulus is “Change We Can Believe In”? That’s not why I voted for Obama! We should have been screaming about social class inequality and why we need to repeal not just the Bush tax cuts but the Reagan tax cuts – just to start!

We gave more to AIG then we did to stimulate alternative fuel research and development. We gave more to AIG than to infrastructure repair. Yes “CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN”! Now Obama gets a dose of testosterone to defend the Mosque near ground zero when he should have been using his oratorical skills to attack corporate collectivism in America and the destruction of the Middle Class dream. Democrats should be screaming “Anti – Liberal News Media Biases” about the Mosque not being on Ground Zero and about the Republicans not supporting the relief to the first responders of 9-11. All we hear is “meow”!

The issue is what causes the lack of fire from Democratic Party politicians? Is it just plain impotence or are they tripping over their Wall Street contributors to kiss their butts! Yes I understand the Republicans take corporate money and want to advance their corporate masters agenda. Democrats want to be liberals but need to be elected so they take the money but then find themselves “playing liberal” inside the corporate defined “sandbox”. Even if the Democrats do have their heart in the right place the results are the same!

Obama, Reid and Pelosi – the Troika of Impotence and friends of Wall Street! Play in the sandbox children and don’t worry you will loose that nasty majority in Congress. How can Democrats be such masochists?

Yes it is scary that Alvin Greene has won the South Carolina Democratic Primary. I would love to see a debate between Alvin Greene and Sarah Palin. Amazing that Sarah Palin was running for Vice President, an office just a heartbeat away from succession to the Presidency! Yet the right winger’s whined that Sarah Palin was being asked trick questions such as:

What news papers do you read?

What is the Bush Doctrine?

What is your foreign policy experience?

Well Alvin Greene is not a parochial hillbilly with just limited knowledge of South Carolina!

Alvin Greene can see Georgia from his house!

If the DNC had some guts and a taste for blood the whole issue of Alvin Greene would be a great talking point for arguing Anti-Liberal News Media Biases! Please note I am just as horrified by Alvin Greene getting the nomination. My point is that Sarah Palin made a big show that she was asked the most simplest of questions yet cried “News Media Biases! The news media is not biased for asking questions such as “what newspapers do you read?”

What I find even more amazing is that FOX NEWS admits this! See the video below!

Now after loosing the election and bailing out on the State of Alaska, that elected her Governor prior to the national election, what job do you think Sarah Palin is qualified for?

ANSWER: Why an anchor and news commentator on FoxNews! Maybe Alvin Greene can join her to co-host a show!

However using the “PALIN DOCTRINE” we would have to say the news media is unfairly attacking Alvin Greene. Besides Alvin Greene can see Georgia from his house! That is the State of Georgia! Sarah Palin probably does not even know there is also a nation by that name!

Wow Obama actually spoke up! Big deal he wasted an entire year being “Super Wimp”! Republicans know how to go on the offensive and it is about time that Democrats learn to do the same! As I mentioned in my prior post, some conservatives are talking about gaining control of the House so they can use the House of Representatives’ Constitutional power of the “purse strings” to de-fund Health Care Reform! Nancy Pelosi did not want to de-fund the Iraqi War using the same technique. If she did then the war would have ended two years before Obama became President.

Once again we hear the “mantra” of Democrats, “MEOW…. MEOW…..MEOW”. When will liberals go on the offensive? Well I just heard Ed Schultz tackle a favorite issue of mine. That issue is “Conservative News Media Biases”. Yes you read that correctly! For too long liberals have allowed conservatives and Republicans to paint the news media as a liberally biased! (See the video below).

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Can you imagine if Democrats had used the language of Michelle Bachmann in talking about the “Tree of Liberty” needing to be watered with blood! What happened to the rhetoric of “Law and Order”? Worse yet is why liberals don’t have the guts to really go on the offensive with these nut cases!

We could have had this pathetic watered down Health Care Reform Law last summer! Yet Obama turned his back while the endless rants of death panels filled the television screens of middle class American homes! Getting Joe Liebermann’s vote was more important!

When are Democrats going to learn that we must use the language of “Class Warfare”! Oh dear now look what I just said! Yet when our nation was plagued by the waste of lives and money in the vast Right Wing Social Engineering Experiment In Iraq what was Bush’s response? As he piled up the dead bodies of Americans while his friends in Halliburton made millions and Al Qaeda had free rein in Afghanistan what did Bush talk about? Bush made a big issue of Gay’s being a threat to America’s institution of marriage!

Our nation must face a critical prime issue!

Are we a nation of “one person – one vote”? Or are we a nation of “One Dollar – One Vote”? Health Care Reform is merely an instance of this conflict of the PRIME ISSUE I raised above. Democrats had better be willing to talk Class Warfare! We need to return to the days of Eisenhower when we had a 90% Progressive Income Tax. For God’s sake it’s not like these people who make millions per year actually EARNED IT! If you are middle class and have self respect then you must question why anyone should be making more than three times the average income!

Why should middle class Americans be taxed for so called Cadillac health insurance plans? Why should we Democrats take the blame for bailing out AIG and let the Tea Party nut jobs rob us of the populist rage! We should be addressing the vast income disparity in America between the middle class and the top 2%!

The 90% Progressive Income Tax – Just Reality’s way of saying hello to those with bloated egos! For God’s sake it’s not like they created a cure for cancer to have earned that much money and at our expense! But yet like little wimps Democrats will stand by as Republicans change the issue to “Gay Marriage” as if Gays are the threat to 21st century American Middle Class life!

Instead of worrying at what day in the year we finish earning enough money to pay our taxes we should instead consider at what day into a new year do we earn what our social betters make on the first day of the year!

How many days do we have to work into the new year to achieve what they make on the first day of that year?

What are they doing that is so important to earn that much? They have to figure which foreign nation to export both blue collar and white collar technical jobs while they sing the Republican Globalization Internationale!

Oh yes that is what is rewarded as “innovation”!

Today I watched Republican House minority leader John Boehner do a full court press spin on “Meet The Press’. He blamed the Democrats for not being able to lead the nation by pointing out the problems that Obama had with blue dog Democrats. What the host failed to press Rep. John Boehner on was that the Democrats had more than enough votes IF the Republicans allowed governmental processes to take place by not resorting to the filibuster in the Senate. “Meet The Press” host, David Gregory did not press Republican Minority Leader John Boehner that his Republican counterparts in the Senate were engaging in the filibuster at record levels! Hence the Democrats had to have all 60 votes not just 50 votes plus Vice President Biden to act as the breaking vote to pass. While Rep. Boehner is a member of the House not the Senate, none the less the record Senate filibusters are the only reason the Democrats have come to a halt.

Just imagine if the situation were reversed! Republicans would be demanding that Democrats accept the election results and stop filibustering like babies! We would hear their whining sanctimonious cries of “let the votes be cast” and “allow the delegates of America’s SILENT MAJORITY to pass their legislation!”. Furthermore if the situation were reversed and it was Nancy Pelosi on “Meet The Press” and David Gregory let her get by with statements about the majority party not being able to govern we would hear a vast Republican out cry of “liberal news media biases!” Below is a video clip of the interview.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Republican Minority Leader Boehner was also asked about “Don’t ask don’t tell” which you can also see in the video clip above! Basically his response was “with the problems we are facing as a nation, fighting two wars and the threat of terrorism do we really want to get side tracked into such a divisive issue right now?”

Well actually there are several reasons why we have to end “Don’t ask don’t tell:

(Short Video above: Gays want in to military service while Bush wanted out)

Just when exactly are we going to be with out problems? Then according to John Boehner we have to be free of national problems before we can address this issue! If we said that when the issue was slavery we would still have slaves, woman would not be allowed to vote and Massachusetts might still have the successor to the Puritan Church as it’s “official church”. They did not end having an official church till the 1830′s! Republican House Leader John Boehner just wants to postpone this issue forever. Naturally we should not postpone tax cuts for the rich only equal rights for gays!

The BUSH FACTOR: We have a shortage of troops and folks like former President Bush did not want to go to complete their lawfully required Reserve meetings. (See Video above). Amazing isn’t it! Instead of creating stereo types of “no atheists in the fox holes” or gays cannot serve like they do in many other nations, maybe we should demand that before a President send our troops to die in the Republican Social Engineering Experiment in Iraq they should first finish their military obligation that they signed up for.

Finally it is the right thing to do. We are a nation of values. Our military must reflect a cross section of the society they represent.

Might this humble liberal blogger suggest to Republicans that since you never tire of wanting proof of Barrack Obama’s proof of native birth, maybe you should join with the military officer in the above video and ask where was George Bush when he signed up to serve in the National Guard!
