I don’t share the enthusiasm of many that President – Elect Barrack Obama chose Hillary Clinton to be his Secretary of State. I say this because she has betrayed the working people of America both white and blue collar with both NAFTA and the H1-b Visa program. The latter is not well known by most Americans. The H1-b programs is destroying those remaining high tech jobs in America that where not off shored. See the video below!

NAFTA is just one “instance” of so called Free Trade as it only effects the US, Canada and Mexico. If free trade where restricted to just North America then Mexico’s economy would soon be raised to a more level field. Currently however many corporations are now leaving Mexico for Thailand and Indonesia because as bad as the wages are in Mexico the rewards of slave labor are better for corporate America in the far east.

When you hear people saying that displaced blue collar workers could be trained for High Tech Jobs then you better understand how corporations are destroying the careers of college technical graduates with the H1-B program. But don’t worry soon marketing, accounting and finance careers will be affected according to a front page article in the March 2007 Wall Street Journal. Off shoring and H1-b are not simply blue collar issues! Corporate America is waging a war on the middle class and Hillary Clinton was one of their champions. Yes to her credit she is an advocate of Universal Health Care. I just wish she would return to her loyalty of the values of American liberalism rather than multinational corporations!

Hillary Clinton is whining about sexism ruining her election. Give me a break Hillary I used to be one of your supporters until I learned how you sold out the dreams of my fellow tech workers so you could get money from Silicon Valley lobbyists!

Hillary Clinton was sobbing in New Hampshire and instead of treating her like Ed Muskie, you know a man, she gets different treatment because she is a woman! Ed Muskie lost his bid because of this! The fact that Hillary Clinton did not have a campaign strategy for the votes after Feb 5th illustrates that she was incompetent as a strategist. Imagine if she started whining in the Presidential Election this fall? The idea of “entitlement” does not sit well with the American public! If she cannot take the heat in the primaries how is she going to deal with it in the National Election?

Hillary Clinton seems to believe we “owe” her the Presidency because she is a woman?

• Then I guess we “owe” Barrack Obama the Presidency because he is Black!
• Do we “owe” John McCain the Presidency because he is a Senior Citizen!
• Since John McCain is the only veteran running for the Presidency maybe we “owe” him the Presidency because he is not only a veteran but was tortured as prisoner of war!

Imagine if Barrack Obama said when he lost that it was due to racism because he is Black? Think of the uproar. In fact I remember Senator Obama said last year that if he does not win it is because he did not make his case to the American people. This was when he was not the front runner! Yes I am for Barrack Obama but I was originally for Hillary Clinton. I salute her for being an early advocate of Universal Health Care and still believe her plan is better though Obama’s plan has more chance of passing since it allows some to opt out initially. I would support Hillary Clinton for Vice President if she becomes a team player and stops WHINING!

How about remembering the dreams of America’s college graduates who want to work in the computer industry? Stop selling us out with the H1-b Visa Program!

Isn’t it amazing that Hillary Clinton has yet to apologize to Barrack Obama concerning her assassination comments! What next is she going to whine that the media is against her and start to cry? Well if she cannot stand this how is she going to compete with the Republicans and John McCain? But then taking the heat was supposed to be why the super delegates should vote for her! Perhaps we owe her the Presidency because she is a woman? But then Obama could say the same because he is Black!

I would like to believe a kinder view of Hillary Clinton’s RFK remarks. When I heard her remarks I felt that perhaps she was addressing the issue of leaving the campaign prematurely! She was not putting Barrack Obama in RFK’s position rather herself! Bobby Kennedy was FORCED OUT of the campaign by assassination. Her assumption being “look at how our nation would have been different if he was not forced out”! Thus she was viewing herself not Obama as RFK in the scenario she listed! But she seems to believe you cannot say you are wrong! That is why she took such heat concerning her vote on Iraq! Hell if I were in Congress then I would have voted for the Iraqi authorization though now I am against the war! I still believe the world is better without Saddam. Mission Accomplished! Now let us get out! But more of that in other posts.

I used to like Hillary Clinton until I realized how she and her hubby where involved in NAFTA and Free Trade. Most of the union folks who support her remember the good old days when Bill Clinton was President and our economy was strong. Yes but he laid the foundation for the coming trade deficit and job losses! One could say that when they realized things were turning differently and not as they supposedly planned, they renounced free trade! I could believe that except that Hillary Clinton to this day is a form supporter of the H1-b Visa Program that is destroying jobs for college graduates in technology and soon will be doing the same in other fields! On the blue collar front Hillary Clinton says that those blue collar workers who loose their jobs have a back up! They can be trained to be technology workers! Fine but she is undermining the job market for technology workers with the H1-b program. If there were a shortage of computer students why not let our great capitalist system correct this by allowing the wages of computer workers to rise and thus attracting more to study computers? No instead she chooses to stop the off shoring of American jobs by bringing those off shore here and siding with Corporate America against the dreams of college students and even blue collar workers who want to be cross trained! Then they wonder why “Atlas Shrugged”!

I really loved Hillary Clinton. She stood alone for Universal Health Care. I even believe her program is superior to Barrack Obama’s! The only advantage of Obama’s plan is that with it’s opting out option it is more likely to pass! So with her superior health care plan why has she sold out American technology workers? The H1-b program will soon be used even against those who major in non-technology subjects! Maybe Hillary Clinton should shed a tear for the dreams of Middle Class Americans she has destroyed!

Hillary Clinton could make an excellent Vice President if she would renounce H1-b! Obama is a great philosopher. Hillary Clinton could be the Dick Cheney and Spiro Agnew of the left! Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton would make a good team. They could play together “Good Cop – Bad Cop”. She could be the “HIT BABE”! She has, as one of her unions supporters stated, “testicular fortitude” and attack instincts!

She demeans herself by advocating she has the popular vote when she does not. There were no valid delegates elected in either Michigan or Florida as both candidates accepted the rules and did not campaign there! In Michigan Obama was not even on the ballot. Hillary Clinton does not even want to count caucus states in the popular vote! She should have told them that before the vote! Then she talks about key states she won but campaigns in Puerto Rico which cannot even vote in the general election! This sophistry is beyond testicular fortitude! Her behavior now is nuts! She should stop and leave with honor!

George Bush who is so incompetent that he cannot win a war in the same time that we won a World War, now has undermined Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos”! By opening his big mouth he has forced Democrats to join hands around Senator Barrack Obama. Even Hillary Clinton, who was a fellow traveler with George Bush on the Road To Bagdad has been forced to come to Obama’s aid! Senator Clinton has now to distinguish between a trait that one union leader praised her for humorously, “Testicular Fortitude”, to downright “Bunker Naivete”. See the hilarious video below! Since Hillary Clinton has defended Obama in his position, that talking to one’s enemies is not the same as appeasement, she has undermined two of her arguments against Senator Obama!

1. That he is not Presidential and capable of being Commander In Chief.
2. That he is an appeasr. Senator Obama has proven that he is not an appeaser nor a roll over to Republican attacks.

With the news focusing around Bush vs. Obama and George Bush’s third term surrogate John McCain, the Democratic Primary process has been put into the background and Obama is now perceived as the party standard bearer! Well that is unless Hillary Clinton “Bunkers Down” as in the video above!

Before I touch this subject I would like to present a “Middle Class Populist” perspective on the usage of American Military power! Never look at “both sides” of an issue! Doing so implies there are only two sides to an issue! We are getting caught up in the old Hawk vs. Dove Debates! Allow me to present a Maxim that most Americans, like it or not will agree with!

When dealing with rouge nations and terrorists if you do not KICK ASS then you are an ASS KISSER! The American people will approve the first and never the second! Both Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama know this!

However it is the misapplication of this maxim by George Bush that has kept us in Iraq! We are not kicking terrorist butt in Iraq only making money for Halliburton! If we want to kick terrorist ass then we should be winning the war with extensive use of our “Shock and Awe” Military Technology in Afghanistan. At least that is until CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS sell our technology to China and they export it for their profit! Worse still China may even use it against us directly! Make no mistake about it we can win in Iraq if it was in our national interest. A smart general knows his strengths and weakness and commits to a battlefield where he can maximize his strengths to the pursuit of his nation’s goals. Iraq does not meet that criteria but the Al Qaeda homeland on the Pakistani – Afghanistan border does meet that criteria!

Some time ago Barrack Obama said that he would launch a surgical strike (non-nuclear) against the Al Qaeda homeland in Pakistan if certain conditions were met:

• We had creditable intelligence that Osama Bin Laden was there
• And/or a Al Qaeda base camp was in use for a strike against our Homeland!
• The Pakistani Government did not want to take action.

Hillary Clinton said that this showed Obama’s inexperience as Pakistan was a nuclear nation! I find it very strange that when our Homeland is threatened by Al Qaeda Central, neither Hillary Clinton nor John McCain want to take decisive surgical action where it would count! Yet both are willing to bomb even nuke Iran if Iran struck Israel! I wonder if Hillary Clinton and John McCain have their priorities correct!

Why is Barrack Obama inexperienced and foolish for defending America’s Homeland Security against Al Qaeda Central but Hillary Clinton says it is ok to nuke Iran if a non-treaty friend is attacked! Guess they really want the Pro-Israel lobby now don’t they? We cannot allow Iran to have nuclear weapons – PERIOD! We cannot allow Israel or any Arab nation to be nuked by Iran.

We must extend a blanket of protection over both Israel and her Arab neighbors for two reasons:

1. We need to minimize the Middle Eastern nations’ need for the development of nuclear weapons. (Sure Israel already has them but at least not overtly).
2. We cannot allow Iran to gain control of these strategic sources of oil.

Yes that’s right going to war for oil is a necessity in our modern world! Going to war for oil company profits is not! Again this blog is written by a Middle Class Populist not a knee jerk PC Liberal! But let’s not forget George (never show up at his National Guard meetings) Bush! Just what kind of message is Bush sending Iran, if he wants to build an Anti-Missile System not in the United States but in Eastern Europe to defend it against rouge nukes from Iran?

This presumes that we are going to sit back and let Iran develop nukes! But then again since we are wasting our military and our budget in this great SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT IN Iraq we have no determent against Iran! Great work neo-cons!

The time has come for America’s Silent Majority to stand up and say no to Bush and McCain!

Yesterday I got involved in a heated discussion with a friend concerning the scenario of Barrack Obama being denied the nomination by the super-delegates. As you most likely know the scenario runs this way. Neither Barrack Obama nor Hillary Clinton receives the majority vote but Obama has the majority of elected delegates from the primaries and caucuses that occurred in states under the Democratic Party rules. However Hillary Clinton is a close second and convinces the unelected super-delegates to vote for her thus winning the nomination. While I believe Obama should win if he has the majority of elected delegates from the primaries and caucuses, he has stated on MSNBC’s “Meet The Press” that he would then accept Hillary Clinton as the winner and would not bolt the convention! I salute Barrack Obama for his team spirit but I wonder if the Republicans are only going to use this to hurt him and the Democratic Party by trying to up Hillary Clinton’s votes in the remaining elections. Prior to the Texas and Ohio votes Bill Clinton even said that Hillary Clinton’s campaign would end if she did not win in those states. I am sure Rush Limbaugh is having a good time with this! Just look at what Rush Limbaugh and his fellow travelers in the Republican Party want to happen. (See Video Below)

I think Hillary Clinton might make a good Vice Presidential candidate as she could be the mean spirited “Hit Babe” who in the words of one of her union supporters has “testicular fortitude”! Presidential Candidates usually try to leave the hard hitting nasty comments to their Vice Presidential candidates. Hillary Clinton might make an excellent choice!

One final note! Have you noticed that no one seems to mention the delegates from the other candidates who are no longer in the race! These are not super-delegates but elected and I do believe their votes do matter!

The Silent Majority wants this thing to end. We have a war in Iraq to end and a war in Afghanistan to win! Our economy is a mess thanks to Bush, his tax cuts for the rich and his SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENT in Iraq! The Middle Class must stand up and bring this nonsense to an end!

Remember back before the New Hampshire Primary when Barrack Obama gave his talking points to the “NY Times” saying that he was going to have to ask Hillary Clinton some tough questions! He was criticized as to why he was even telling his strategy up front. Like to criticize poor sweet Hillary Clinton was vicious! If this humble blogger could talk to Senator Obama I would urge him to go at some of Hillary Clinton’s weak points hard!

My first advice would be to quote John Edwards who really pointed out how Hillary Clinton is to cozy with lobbyists and the Washington establishment. (See Video Below)

If I could speak to Senator Obama I would urge him to really push hard on some key weaknesses of Hillary Clinton!

• Hillary Clinton “Our Lady Of NAFTA” talks about saving jobs but she lead the movement that destroyed not only union blue collar jobs but even the high tech jobs market she claims some can be retrained to!
• We hear her constantly talking about how every vote counts and that a “win is a win”! Well why not challenge her to make a pledge that she will not try to overthrow the will of the people? If she looses by even one elected delegate she looses – PERIOD! Today I heard some mild comments by you on that front! But you got to push this more!
• Hillary Clinton in effect says “SUPER DELEGATES KNOW BEST”! Brand her an elitist for what she preaches! She is an elitist!
• Really press the BosniaSniper issue! This is the person who claims you don’t have what it takes to be the Commander In Chief! Hell would you want some one making war and peace decisions if they could not ascertain the facts of a situation? Not to mention the little issue of the “TRUTH”!
• Yes you have to maintain the “Idealist” image rather than the “ideologue” but Hillary Clinton will use your lack of attack to prove her point! She wants to prove she can take on the right wing machine! Give her a fight!
  
• Go after her life boat – Her donations! Make statements concerning how Rush Limbaugh and his fellow travelers want to “use” Hillary Clinton to keep our party divided and how Hillary Clinton by not using a CALCULATOR is really helping the very Right Wing Conspiracy she argues against!
• What about a commercial using paradoxical intention. “Please make a donation to Hillary Clinton! Rush Limbaugh is depending on you“! We know that some of his fellow travelers have even crossed party lines to vote for Hillary Clinton so to extend the bitter fighting within our party!

Those are some Debate Points I would recommend to Senator Obama! But Senator Obama also has some weaknesses that he needs to fix. The remarks he made in San Francisco really hurt him in Pennsylvania! Then there is the Pastor Wright issue. For the life of me I cannot understand how someone can maintain friendship with Pastor Wright when he does not apologize for his remarks! What kind of friend is your Pastor Senator Obama? Yes I know what religious existential anxiety means! I know the need for religion in ones own life! But your so called “Friend” should be out there now on the stump preaching a “God Bless America” speech else he is no friend of yours when you are running for such a high office!

Senator Obama you got away largely with the Pastor Wright issue as you are competing within the Democratic Party. But you will be eaten alive unless your so called friend comes to you aid and says that he was bitter from a bygone era but now asks forgiveness! If not you MUST remove yourself from him! There is too much at stake here. My family has even separated itself from the denomination they grew up in because of close mindedness!

Hilllary Clinton, OUR LADY OF NAFTA, must not be allowed to destroy our party!

Even if Hillary Clinton does win the Pennsylvania Primary tomorrow she cannot win the nomination unless the super delegates over rule the will of the people!

Here are some “Sniper Points” for “Hillary Clinton, Our Lady Of NAFTA” aka “Madame H1-b” to make for her continued candidacy for the Democratic Nomination:

· We should continue till the last primary as the people should decide but then I will spare them from making a mistake by asking the Super Delegates to over rule the will of the people! After all Super-Delegates know best!

· Blue collar workers should not pay attention to those nasty news clips about my husband pushing NAFTA! The nasty Republicans made us do that! How did we know that American jobs would be lost! It is all part of a vast right wing conspiracy and not our fault!

· Again every vote counts, especially when I am the only on the ballot as in Michigan! Therefore they should be seated as the Florida delegation despite the fact that I said I accepted the Democratic Party rules concerning Michigan and Florida improperly moving their election dates!

· If I sound “two faced” you have to forgive me as I suffer from SHELL SHOCK! You see I went to War Torn Bosnia with my daughter because Bill was to chicken to go! I am still recovering from the trauma of being under sniper fire!

· I have a back up plan for those blue collar workers who cannot get their jobs back from overseas! We will train them for High Tech jobs. This is the wave of the future. Don’t pay any attention to those nasty news clips (see below) about me taking money from the corporate lobbyists to undermine America’s high tech job market by importing legal lower paid high tech workers from India and Pakistan.
