Middle Class Populist

I was a John Edwards supporter then switched when Senator Edwards dropped out of the race. Ann Coulter called John Edwards a fag! Well at least we know that is not true! I would vote for John Edwards again say in eight years as he needs some time to rebuild his image. I feel we have to joke about this as it is a human folly. What I find amazing is that Republicans normally don’t screw up their wives but the country instead! I still prefer John Edwards over George Bush any day! Apparently Edwards’ wife knew about it much earlier and forgave him. That is why I am being more humane to him!

What is going to happen next? Is Ann Coulter going to attack Mrs. Edwards for staying with her husband as did Hillary Clinton? Some will say that Democrats are hippocrites! Somewhat but Republicans are far more! Republicans are the ones who are so preachy about “Family Values”. Remember the family values preachers in the prior decade with the contant barrage of TV preachers cheating on their wives! Not to mention the recent Larry Craig feet taping event in the men’s room!

I guess Republicans fear that red blooded American family men are going to convert to being gay so that is why they want to scare us with the issue of gay marriage! No I am not afraid of Gay Marriage!  I am afraid of the lack of Universal Health Care and CUT AND RUN Corporations taking our nation’s wealth and jobs overseas to avoid the responsibility of paying taxes and paying “responsible” (sorry for the bad word) compensation to both blue and white collar employees!

I am sick and tired of Republican scare tactics! They are attempting to delay the rise of Middle Class Consciousness! Slowly but surely the Silent Majority in this nation are demanding that we have the same rights as citizens of western Europe and not allowing fear tactics to assert our class interests! Strange isn’t it that investors can still make very good money in Western Europe but in America the majority of the elite fear Universal Health Care and Social Responsibility when it comes to job security and compensation to both white and blue collar employees!

Oh yes the Republican conservative way is the “feels good solution”! Profits without responsibilty! If they want to protect the American Family how about Universal Health Care and not shipping jobs overseas? Why not outlaw divorce to protect “Family Values”? Now there is a real scary thought! Well let me leave you with some humor! Below is a phony ad by Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton against John McCain. It follows with a retort by John McCain. Again both are phony.

This is what can happen if the campaigns get too negative taking stuff out of context! Currently I am studing Saint Augustine. He mentions that we don’t just go out and “choose” to do a major evil act. We make earlier “meta decisions” that affect our latter decisions. That is why “Grace” is needed the same as yesterday. The 12 Step programs are founded on this. An individual can be good in all other areas but there is a folly to human nature! In this John Edwards is following Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin. No not an excuse but something for all of us to watch out for.

God Bless Mrs. Edwards and Hillary Clinton for finding the faith to continue on and really demonstrate FAMILY VALUES! F**K those who criticize them for doing so! Oh yes I was critical of Hillary Clinton but only her politics. Now listen to these closing remarks by Ann Coulter and her vision for America on a recent television appearance! I would rather have John Edwards vision for America!

She did it! “The TEARFUL BABE THAT COULD”! No folks before you tell me to go “onk onk” like a male chauvinist pig, I am only being humorous! We cannot call her the “Come Back Kid” as her hubby already has that title. I prefer John Edwards with Barrack Obama a close second choice! I wonder about Hillary Clinton because she has made peace with the money pedaling special interest lobbyists of Corporate America. What saved her is that Hillary Clinton has been taking John Edwards lessons. If you listen to her “tear speech” listed below she speaks about her Grail Quest as being “personal”. John Edwards said the same thing only a few days before in the debate! After her victory she then spoke about “finding her new voice”! Yes indeed that new voice is talking like John Edwards! She spoke like a populist! I used to like Hillary Clinton! That is until I realized she was undermining college grads in their pursuit for a better life by supporting the racist H1-b Visa program where corporations favor lower paid foreign visa technical students over Americans.

What I believe hurt Senator Obama was the cocky over confidence of the “Talking Heads” in the news media who had him wining New Hampshire by over 10%. Since “Independents” can vote in the New Hampshire Primary, I believe many Independents felt that their job was already done on the Democratic side so they voted instead in the Republican Primary for John McCain. Perhaps if the news media did not pontificate so much Barrack Obama would have won New Hampshire!

I hope McCain does get the Republican nomination. It was John McCain who attacked the lobbyists more than any candidate in American history in 2000. While I will vote Democratic I could split my ticket for McCain if the Iraq War is not the hot issue. Someone has to stand up and stop the corrupting power of K Street. I believe this time around the best candidates to do that are:

1. John Edwards
2. Barack Obama
3. John McCain
4. Mike Huckabee

The time has come for America’s Silent Majority (our great Middle Class) to stand up to these CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS! Individual Freedom must prevail against these 21^st Century Collectivists of the Corporations who would undermine our economic freedom. Without economic freedom the word “freedom” is a meaning less word! God Bless America!

I used to be for Hillary “Our Lady Of Nafta” Clinton, but when she supported the H1-b Visa program that undermines not only all Computer Programmers but every college graduate trying to win the American Dream, I turned against her. John Edwards may scare some people but I believe that the American Middle Class is fighting a war for survival! We are engaged in a war for “Individual Freedom” vs. submersion into the new Collectivism of our age! That is subjugation to the CORPORATE COLLECTIVE!

In this era of licentious permissiveness where the bleeding hearts of the Republican Party sanction the off shoring of American jobs and technology, frequently even to the enemies of America, the Middle Class must take a stand! We stand by as those corporations that our nation gave incorporation, profits, succor and protection now change their “identity” to “Multinational Corporations”! The Republicans and their minions look the other way while these Corporations set up phony offices in the Caribbean to avoid paying taxes. These CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS must take responsibility for the havoc they are causing in the lives of Middle Class Americans!

The philosophers of permissiveness naturally tell us differently! Rush Limbaugh and his fellow travelers go for the “feels good” solution to corporate responsibility. The news media even allow  him  a pulpit  to infect our young with the idea that  those  cut and run capitalists who  shirk their responsibility  to  the nation that give them  profits , contracts and incorporation are “heroes”!

No one is against investors making money but how about some fairness? This is not only about blue collar jobs but white collar college graduate jobs!

The time has come for America’s great SILENT MAJORITY: OUR MIDDLE CLASS TO STAND UP TO THOSE WHO WOULD SUBJURGATE OUR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM TO THE 21^st CENTURY NEO-COLLECTIVISTS OF CORPORATE AMERICA!

God save us in this Brave New World from servitude to the  Corporate Collective!

Conservatives have no loyality! Just look at how the Republicans and their fellow travelers in Corporate America have betrayed their former hacks in the blue collar trades. During the Vietnam War construction workers would literally “beat up” college students and others who demonstrated against the war. Some construction workers even told me they did not get a “draft deferment” but a “draft exemption” due to their union getting their jobs labeled essential to the national defense!

Look at how the Republicans have treated their former lackeys!

Now under the Chamber of Commerce’s blessing, low wage Mexican workers are displacing and lowering the wages of American construction workers and soon truckers. Vietnam still is solidly communist long after the fall of the Soviet Union. Hey but those who advocated you lose your life or limb to preserve General Ky now run to make a profit in “communist” Vietnam! Here is a little history lesson for those to young to remember. Note how many blue collar unions supported the Republicans! What did that get them?

Most of those who were against the Vietnam War were not in sympathy with Jane Fonda. The news media, which I always believed helped the conservatives more than the liberals, created a false dichotomy of “Patriots” vs. “Politically Correct Liberals”. From a Middle Class populist perspective it is important to look at the differences between the “Politically Correct Liberals” and the “Republicans”!

These differences are no different today from years ago!

(1) Politically Correct Liberals:

They desire to “apologize” to the enemies of America. They have jettisoned the false collective guilt of being sons and daughters of Adam and Eve to now preaching collective guilt based on being white middle class Americans! You know the line we are X% of the worlds population yet we use X PLUS Y percent of the worlds resources. Mea Culpa Mother Goddess, Mea Culpa Mother Goddess! By the way I know the statistic is true but how about bringing the bottom up instead of making our lives miserable?

(2) Republicans and Conservatives:

They see the issue and the enemies of America from a completely different prospective! The Republicans do not believe in apologizing to the enemies of America rather they see the enemies of America as INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES! We live in an era of licentious permissiveness where CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS shred their “American identity” to become “Multinational Corporations” sending jobs and technology to even the enemies of our way of life!

Guess who will “rediscover” their American Identity when the China that they have built up, turns against us and our military must perform a massive buildup that could have been made unnecessary? These very same Iscariot CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS will then become “American” to make a profit! They preach “individual freedom” yet work to make the Middle Class individual renounce his own self interest in favor of the “CORPORATE COLLECTIVE”. This is no longer just a blue collar issue. High Tech college educated employees are seeing their jobs shipped overseas. Then those jobs that remain are having their salaries undermined by the importing of lower paid H1-b foreign workers. Soon the H1-b program will be expanded to all white collar fields!

The conservative idea of “freedom” is to reduce the power of the Federal Government as a referee of the market! But when that occurs the middle class individual does not see his freedom rise. Rather the CORPORATE BULLY, who preaches the Gospel of Ann Rand, now uses “government intervention” to lower the wage scale of both white and blue collar jobs by allowing CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS an era of licentious permissiveness to ship jobs and technology out of this nation that gave them birth, succor, protection and profits! These followers of Ann Rand then use “Government Intervention” to import foreign H1-B workers to change the employment market of high tech workers. Why should a college student struggle with the difficult courses in the technology sector when his/her incentives of future employment compensation are being reduced! These same followers of Ann Rand then wonder why “ATLAS SHRUGGED”!

The Silent Majority, America’s great Middle Class, will not stand by to see our individual freedom’s subjugated to the Corporate Collective! While the BLEEDING HEARTS of the Republican Party condone corporations that dodge their tax responsibility as they make paper Corporate HQ’s in foreign lands, they label the corporate lobby contributions to political candidates as acts of freedom! No it is the money of Middle Class Americans that the BULLY is collecting from us in the form of higher product costs and/or lower wages that make these lobbyists payments possible! Bad enough that a corporate CEO makes far more than us but he expects the middle class individual to subsidize his lobbyist’s payments to the government! We indeed do live in a land of two Americas! They expect us to accept them acting in their own selfish class interest but when the middle class individual wants economic freedom in the form of health insurance and assurance that education will not be undermined by the H1-b program they call it tyranny!

Yes we Middle Class Americans want to harvest your lackey definition of freedom in our individual lives:

Freedom from economic security: Who needs economic security when you own a house and have mortgage payments to make or are raising a family! My purpose is to serve the Corporate Collective! If I had economic security I might even dare to seek higher pay or God forbid start my own business! For the sake of the Corporate Elite that is why it is so important that I have FREEDOM FROM HEALTH CARE and FREEDOM FROM ECONOMIC SECURITY.

Freedom from health care: Don’t let the government provide me with health care like every modern European nation does. Freedom from National Health Care means paying extravagant medical bills while hoping the Corporation will not fire me! Yes indeed that is the freedom I want, to serve the Corporate Collective!

Freedom from Social Security: By all means end this evil wicked program I don’t need that in my old age! By all means change it so millions of Americans can become “petty investors” while you cry for the Martha Stewart’s of the world and the big money interests. This is just a means of psychological warfare against the middle class to make us identity with the super rich. No, just owning stock does not make me identify with the Bill Gates of the world!

Most importantly is FREEDOM from asserting my Individual needs over the Corporate Collective: If I should study hard to become a computer programmer by all means use “selective government intervention” to bring in foreign H1-b Visa workers to undercut my salary. The needs of the Corporate Collective come first!

John Edwards is right we do live with “two Americas”. The time has come for America’s Silent Majority - our great Middle Class to assert itself from those who would subjugate the individual to the new 21^st Century Collectivists, the unchecked CORPORATE COLLECTIVE!

While I am against “political correctness”, Ann Coulter, with her ever short skirts, is really using every effort to sell her books! I wonder is it wrong to call someone her age with miniskirts so thin that they qualify as a belt, an old “hag”? Gee that’s only one letter difference from what she called Senator John Edwards. What in particularly gets under Ann Coulter’s skin about Senator John Edwards?

Could it be that Edwards tells it like it is concerning the class war going on in the United States? How dare we challenge the rule of the upper class? These effete snobs talk about the “free market” then they interfere with it by pushing for government intervention to lower salaries of middle class employees. They succeeded in allowing foreign H1-B guest workers to drive down the wages of computer programmers. Why should a college student struggle with hard subjects like Computer Science and Engineering, when these effete snobs of corporate America can undermine the free market! They undermine it by removing the financial rewards of hard work at geeky technical subjects like computer science and engineering! Then they wonder why America doesn’t have enough technical graduates! Oh these effete snobs then preach their gospel book “Atlas Shrugged”.

What John Edwards has done is to expose how the upper class is waging war against the middle class. Ann Coulter wants to steal the American dream from the middle class. Her visceral reaction to Edwards is because he is not walking away from the class war in America. Look at how George Bush has tried to make Americans identify themselves with the needs of the corporate class! By his stupid social security program, whereby Americans could have a portion of the SS tax allocated to the purchase of investment funds, Bush wanted Americans to identify with the upper class. “You don’t want to tax capital gains now do you”?

I am sick and tired of these BLEEDING HEARTS for the corporate elite! The silent majority of us we still have to WORK FOR A LIVING! Stock holder or not! Besides if Ann Coulter and her fellow travelers have their way you can forget about going back to college and getting an education to improve your lot in life as H1-B visa guest workers will steal your dreams and your job!

Ann Coulter and her bleeding heart friends for the corporate elite, would idolize those companies that shred their American identity for a Multi-national identity, bleeding our jobs and technology to China! This age of permissiveness must stop!

The time has come for America’s silent majority - the great Middle Class (and those who aspire to be) to take our nation back from these effete snobs of corporate America whose only loyalty is to where ever their investments take them. They even want to shed their identity as Americans becoming “multi-national”!
