It is not just Herman Cain but the entire Republican Party with their elitism! They ship not only blue collar jobs overseas but white collar jobs as well! They value the income from the dividend over the income from a paycheck except when it is a CEO’s paycheck! Yet Obama is to busy collecting his campaign money from his corporate sponsors to really dwell on the issue of income disparity in America! This should be red meat to an FDR style Democrat!

Meanwhile Herman Cain had the audacity to blame the unemployed for their plight! Maybe he should do a joint strategy session with John Boehner as the latter has been rhetorically asking Obama “where are the jobs”! Both Herman Cain and John Boehner cannot both be right except right wing!

9-9-9 Power To The Rich Plan Or Testosterone Deficient Obama Plan

But let’s not excuse the wimp we have as a President! His job stimulus package, like it’s creator, never had any testosterone except to compromise!

Obama is using the pain, not only of the unemployed, but the employed who fear unemployment as a prop to gain re-election. How is that you ask!

I am fed up with Obama’s talk about “shared sacrifice“! While the top 1% profit we are to give up the New Deal when we should be pursuing FDR’s Second Bill Of Rights instead!

I am fed up with attacks on our government by these plutocratic corporate collectivists of the Republican Party and the corporatist wing of the Democratic Party!

I am fed up with Obama using our pain to give himself credentials as “someone willing to make the hard choices”! Sure at the middle class’s expense!

But Isn’t That Just Robbing The Productive For Being Creative?

No one is against the Steve Jobs of this nation who produce things of VALUE! But there has to be a balance! We don’t want to regulate incomes but we do have a right to bring some sense of balance! That is the agenda of the Progressive Movment!

What we see as “being creative” is:

Massive off shoring of both blue collar AND white collar jobs!

Setting middle class Americans agaisnt each other while the effete snobs of privilege collect the dividends of our pain!

Turning Wall Street into a big gambling casino instead of regulating the flow of capital to socially productive enterprises!

Using our money collected from “taxation without representation” via American consumer financing of Corporate K-Street lobbyists through the price we pay for corporate goods and services! Where does the money for K-Street lobbyists and corporate super-pacs come from? It comes from us!

Turning Americans into a nation of necessitous citizens! FDR warned us, that “necessitous men are not free men!”

Tea Party Logic

We have endured several years of these self righteous buffoons from the Tea Party. Now lets apply some of their logic but address it to Herman Cain instead of Universal Health Care!

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

By the way can some one tell me where are the death panels these idiots screamed about?

But then again we have a wimp for a president who will not stand up to the Tea Party and has instead accepted their definition of reality. By that I mean you would think that deficit spending is the prime evil of this era.

QUESTION: What does any bussiness do when they start up?

ANSWER: They engage in deficit spending. Sometimes for years! Amazon did it for years and twitter is still doing it!

Since the regular means of information gathering seem to have yielded questionable results, perhaps the British should now use “enhanced interrogation techniques” such as water boarding!

Because the Murdoch’s have blessed America with FOX NEWS, we have been educated to know that water boarding is not torture! Civilized people water board as it is merely a form of “enhanced interrogation”.
Below Keith Olberman takes on Sean Hannity of Fox News! Sean Hannity states that water boarding is not torture!

Fantastic let’s do what Fox News tells us is perfectly fine! Sean Hannity like his bosses got pie in their face!

The Murdochs along with Sean Hannity should be taken by Her Majesty’s Government to the Tower of London. There they can enjoy some American enhanced interrogation techniques!

In their never ending War on the Middle Class, the Republicans want to steal the golden years of the Silent Majority to comfort the comfortable in the top 1%! Because they correctly perceive that Barrack Obama is a wimp and they don’t want to see an increase in the Progressive Income Tax, Inheritance Tax or the Capital Gains Tax they want to destroy Social Security, Medicare and create conditions that will enable corporations and State Governments to eliminate pensions!

But Americans are living longer their minions argue! Therefore why not make these vehicles above more solvent by raising the retirement age and reducing the benefits! Eliminate the Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax for the economic royalists and fill the hole with a LONGEVITY GAINS TAX on the Middle Class!

To raise the retirement age is a “Longevity Gains Tax” on the Middle Class!

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Republicans are like the bully waiting for their innocent prey!

“Hey there little one what’s that you got there? Oh look at that you got some extra years of life and you want some leisure time from working to make us rich?”

“What are you going to do with all that leisure time? You would not know what to do with it? You are workers and we are the LEISURE CLASS! You function in life is to comfort the comfortable! “

“Give us your Social Security and Medicare!”

“Your pensions are taking too much from our entitlement of a work free stock dividend! “

( Note I am not attacking stock holding Middle Class Americans. Nor is this an attack on the responsible rich in the top 1%.)

However the above is the krap that these effete snobs of privilege are waging against the Silent Majority in this nation! The question is where is that wimp of a President that claims he is a Democrat? Instead we see the Republicans and their corporate minions in the Democratic Party caving in like the pathetic wimps that they are, instead of standing up for the middle class!

When Barrack Obama was elected with both Houses of Congress being Democrats we felt that the legacy of Franklin Delano Roosevelt was going to be actualized. We did not expect to fight for the very survival of what President Roosevelt worked for! FDR wanted a Second Bill of Rights added to the Constitution that guaranteed Americans a good paying job, health care and security in old age!

Let me remind you again of one of FDR’s greatest quotes:

“Necessitous men are not free men!”

The Republicans and their fellow travelers in the Corpocratic wing of the Democratic Party want to create a nation of necessitous men and woman by eliminating pensions and shipping jobs overseas! Those jobs that remain will pay less, while we work more to comfort the comfortable! in the past years as Americans have less disposable income and are driven into debt, bankruptcy laws are changed so that the citizens have no release from usury while corporations have free speech and are bailed out! This is called “FREEDOM” in the Republican lexicon!

Yes the freedom to serve our social betters!

Not only are we to enjoy the glory of trickle-down economics but trickle down identity!

Comforting The Comfortable: Trickle Down Identity

Recently the Fidelity Insurance Company did a survey of multimillionaires! Many of them do not feel they are rich! They believe they will outlive their wealth unless they have seven million dollars! It is with this background that we in the middle class are told that we should be “rugged self-sufficient individuals” and rely on ourselves for our old age!

Yet millionaires don’t even feel secure and we are to comfort the comfortable! Eliminate the Capital Gains Tax and lay a “Longevity Gains Tax” on Middle Class Americans!

If millionaires don’t feel they will outlive their wealth then what is the average American to feel when they face old age and Republicans want to attack Social Security and Medicare while allowing corporations to end pensions?

As serfs we are to base our identity on how best we can serve our social betters! We do not want to make them fearful least they should not invest in the nation that gave them wealth, birth, protection and profits! This is the “FREEDOM” that the Tea Party and their fellow travelers, the Republicans want to give America!

Yes the FREEDOM to serve our Social Betters and the Corporations for which they stand! One Nation under greed with poverty and injustice for all in the CORPORATE COLLECTIVISTS STATE!

Why It Is An Attack On Social Security and Medicare

Once again the Republicans will attempt to set middle class Americans against one another!

But wait if you are 55 and over it will not effect you!

WRONG! This is the Republican strategy of “starving the beast” in their lexicon. For the next ten years the baby boomers will join the ranks of the retired. Social Security and Medicare depend on the social contract of younger workers paying for older. Just as those who are entering retirement did for the generation before them. If those under 55 can opt out the base on which Social Security and Medicare operate then both programs will collapse!

Republicans Will Use “Envy” Once Again

Republicans will now make those under 55 have a higher retirement age and we will see the costs of Social Security and Medicare go up because the base will shrink! The base will shrink due to those who opt out for private plans! The dangers of old age are not apparent to those who are younger.

“They” will be made to think they have an “in” to the system and can do better without it! Yet again Republicans use “ENVY” just like they use it against unionized civil service workers! Well they do make better money than private corporate employees because if corporations can have their way you would work for minimum wage and then they would even eliminate that! Rand Paul even proposed that!

Freedom To Serve Our Social Betters

This is the “Freedom” that the corporate collectivists want for America! Ann Rand was wrong! When the power of the referee is diminished in the game of life the power of individual freedom is not increased! Instead the power of the bully corporation is increased!

When unemployment rises it is not just the unemployed who lose their freedom! Every Middle Class American loses their freedom in the job market! Every Middle Class American is more at the mercy of the corporate collective!

The Fidelity Insurance Company recently did a survey of millionaires! They found that most millionaires believe and fear they will outlive their money unless they can have seven million! What security does the average Middle Class American have with a privatization of Social Security and Medicare if millionaires don’t have faith in their own wealth!

The Republican Solution!

Why “trickle down old age security”! Make Middle Class Americans pay and work more to ease the fears of our social betters!

Where Are The Democrats?

The issue is not the Republicans! We know what they are! The issue is the lack of drive by most Democrats and President Obama in particular to take this issue to the public! Oh whoopee Obama made some strong remarks! He even did it with the microphone on and not knowing it! Could be a posturing technique but regardless his track record is poor!

We went from an era of control of both Houses of Congress and the Presidency, where we could have installed “Medicare For All” to now fighting for its survival! No that is not because Progressives did not rally behind Obama but because Obama turned off his base by not rallying around “Change We Can Believe In” and going over the heads of Congress to the American people!

Presidential Power Of The Bully Pulpit

Obama resigned as “Pontifex Maximus” of the nation! It is the President who “defines issues” instead he allowed the Tea Party to define issues to the point we now debate how to cut the deficit when we should be increasing spending to finance solar power, infrastructure repair, R & D and real job creation!

Obama should be setting the national discussion from Tea Party deficit reduction to:

How much we should increase the tariff!

Should we merely eliminate the Bush Tax Cuts or return to the good ole days of President Eisenhower with a Progressive Income Tax of 91%!

Should we raise the Inheritance Tax to 90% or 100% on all estates over 1 million! We could call this not the “Death Tax” but the “American Exceptionalism Preservation Tax”! We do want a nation with a level playing field for all now don’t we? Isn’t that “American Exceptionalism”!

What percentage of corporate assets should the Federal Government take over from corporations that use phony Caribbean Island Headquarters to avoid paying taxes that Middle Class Americans have to make up for!

Instead of defining the issues that we face to be the above all we hear from Obama and the Castrati Brigade of the Democratic Party leadership is a pathetic “meow”! I don’t care that Obama had a little courage! Going from a strong public option to the health insurance company protection act is not my idea of “Change We Can Believe In”!

Throwing Grand Ma In The Poor House

This is an attack against our democratic way of life! This is worse than 9-11! We can respond to foreign threats if our decision making processes are not corrupted from the inside! Our democracy and our way of life are being corrupted by K – Street lobbyists who set the parameters of the political institutions of our society! We the middle class literally pay for these lobbyists in a form of “Taxation without Representation”! How is that you ask?

Every time we pay for gas at the pump or pay for coal or gas to heat our homes we are financing the corporate interest! Isn’t it amazing that if we talk about taxing corporations we get lectured that these taxes are only passed on to the consumer!

Well who pays for the cost of the corporate K – Street agenda?

We the middle class do and no one addresses this issue!

They do this by making Democrats play “make believe liberal” inside the corporate sandbox! The fact is no one deserves to make millions per year when the President makes only $400K! We can tolerate this to some degree but we need a strong Progressive Income Tax and Inheritance Tax as the salaries “earned” are products of situational economics not products of cultural worth!

We Progressives need to change the name of the “Inheritance Tax” to the “American Exceptionalism Preservation Tax”! We do want to preserve our nation as a land of equal opportunity rather than a land of economic royalists? FDR gave us the term “economic royalists”! Corporations allow Democrats to “play liberal” as long as they don’t use President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s class terminology!

After all the usage of “envy” is only allowed to Republicans such as when they use it against subgroups in the middle class by trying to make the rest feel they are getting special privileges.

We need Senator Bernie Sanders For President In 2012!

Democrats under Obama just don’t seem to want to win the political war against Republicans and their Tea Party fellow travelers! Remember when we were about to see the rebirth of the union movement with a simple “Card Check” Law that would facilitate the massive rebirth of unions when a majority of employees signed up for a card!

But heck that was back in the days when we actually believed we would have a “real” health care law put into place in the United States instead of the testosterone challenged version that Obama settled for! That is when we actually believed we had a Democratic Party that would amend the Constitution to end corporate personhood or would demand an end to credit card usury! Instead under Obama we just have the usury made more transparent to the consumer! Well that and Obama’s impotency made more transparent to the consumer!

Despite being a Progressive Social Democratic I have to give the Republicans credit for taking a Democratic Party massive 2008 victory and converting it into a defeat! How did they do it?

Take your pick from the alternative choices below:

Because Democrats only “play liberal” inside the confines of the “corporate sandbox”? They don’t want to go against their corporate contributors.

Democrats are just plain stupid! Yes I can believe that too.

Democrats lack the testosterone to fight because “oh dear that is so negative”! “I don’t want to generate any bad karma”! “We don’t want to sound like we are trying to generate class envy”! “Cannot we all just get along”. …. “Meow”!

All of the above. Democrats are both stupid and lack testosterone to break out of the corporate sandbox! Their low IQ’s score is only surpassed downward by their even lower testosterone levels!

The correct choice is #4 !

In the video clip below MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan discusses how we got into this financial mess. He points out that the banksters committed criminal mischief with our lives and economy. Yet the Republicans get away with using teachers and civil service union members as their target.

Frankly I don’t know who to be angrier at! The Republicans with their class warfare against the American middle class or the wimpy Democrats for being their enablers!

Obama Must Go

Let’s stop this idiotic loyalty to Obama when he has no loyalty to the Democratic base! It is bad enough that the Republicans are waging class warfare against the middle class but where the hell is our Democratic President? For that matter where are the rest of the Democrats?

We hear talk about the need for a third party along the lines of Ross Perot’s attempt in 2000. No what we need is a “Social Democratic Party” along west European leftist lines in this nation.

We need a commitment to stronger rhetoric in the defense of the middle class. A real progressive President would hammer away at the Republicans on a daily basis. The issue is not simply about blue collar unions! The issue is about those blue collar and white collar employees who are treated as peons in this new Corporate Collectivist World Order!

We need Bernie Sanders for President in 2012!

The rhetoric of hate has now hurt our nation. I have thought about this issue and perhaps it was good that my site was being moved so I could delay my reaction to the tragic events in Tucson. As you know I am a very vocal progressive. While I don’t want to add to the flames that divide our nation, sticking our heads in the sand is not going to make this issue go away! At the end of this post I have a unique conclusion that may startle some!

A coin has two sides just as many issues in life have two sides! But my friends this issue of the “rhetoric of hate” does not lend itself to the analogy of a coin! Conservatives and Republicans have subjected this nation to several years of unremitting, self indulgent, reckless, demagogy, and pure hatred!

Republicans would be up in arms if a police officer were killed and the murderer were found to have a collection of rap music that extolled the killing of police! Frankly I would not want to defend the musicians even though they could not be silenced legally for their hate rhetoric.

But here the issue is not merely private citizens who are Republican! The issue is Republican candidates for office sanctioning or even actively advancing the rhetoric of hate. Thus polluting the political environment! Below Rep. Gabrielle Giffords ironically warns Sarah Palin that here actions will have consequences!

Elected officials of the Republican Party have:

Called for “second amendment remedies”.

Refused to tell their supporters not to bring guns to rallies.

Called for the “Tree of Liberty” to be watered with blood.

Michelle Bachmann even said she wants her faithful to be “armed and dangerous”!

This in addition to Sarah Palin and her notorious map with cross hairs that her fellow travelers in Fox News tried to say were surveyors marks!

Republicans did not pull the trigger but they produced a climate for that trigger to be pulled!

Why Did The Rhetoric Of Hate Escalate To This?

My answer may startle some!

I believe that Democrats acting like WIMPS and not standing up to this tsunami of right wing self indulgent, self-righteous, fact hating, mindless bigots is what allowed our national political environment to deteriorate to this level.

In particular I would like to point my finger to the 2010 Award Winning WIMP OF THE YEAR! President Barrack Obama! Democrats need to learn this lesson and learn it well:

When you do not stand up to the bully you only encourage more bullying and a climate of escalation and entitlement for the bully! By being a wimp Barrack Obama encouraged their self-righteous, self-indulgent and ever growing “sense of entitlement” to be a bully and for nut cases to have a “sense of entitlement”! That is what the “perception of weakness” accomplishes! Be it domestically or abroad! Barrack Obama allowed himself to be called a “Muslim, nazi, communist, elitist, death panel author, American hater and Kenyan born. Where was he and leading Democrats while the thugs from the Tea Party disrupted the institutions of Democracy in our town halls? Congressman Barney Frank is one of the few who had the testosterone to stand up to these bullies!

It is true that a President has to act above the fray and be “Presidential”. But he could at least have unleashed Vice President Biden to play “bad cop” while Obama played “good cop”! Those of us who were around during the Vietnam War remember Nixon! He had no problem going on the rhetorical offensive!

The issue is no longer loyalty to Obama! The issue is loyalty to the dream of “Change We Can Believe In”! The issue is the protection of our society from the right wing nut jobs who want to destroy our American way of life and their Obama fed sense of entitlement to do so without consequences!

Yes I do realize that many Republicans are honest and sincere Americans. I ask them to join with me in recognizing that shooting a member of Congress while she meets with her constituents is a mere extension of the atmosphere of disrupting town hall meetings! If you do not stand up to the bully then you establish an atmosphere and our citizens pay the consequences for this rhetoric of hate!

Republicans want to allow state governments to go bankrupt so they can destroy civil service unions! Strange isn’t it that they fought tooth and nail to make it harder for individuals to declare bankruptcy! Former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is leading the fight. There is a method to their madness. They want to empower the corporate class to siphon off the life blood of middle class Americans.

The issue is to increase not just the finances of the rich but to undermine the security of the vast Silent Majority of Americans – our great Middle Class! When the unions are undermined then the power of the corporate class interests grows since progressive politicians receive support from unions! With less better paying jobs available, the wages of all Americans can be reduced while the profits of our social betters increase! Ah yes this is what they call “Freedom”! The freedom to serve the Economic Royalists and their right wing social engineering experiment!

This issue is discussed below in this video from the Keith Olbermann Show.

Job Security Vs. Portfolio Security

What they don’t mention in the video above is that many resent civil service unions because they have some measure of job security. Our social betters don’t want anyone to have “job security”. They like to play one part of the middle class against the other! In this nation 47% of American households made so little that they were not required to pay federal income tax!

If they had union jobs then the tax base of the United States of America would grow! Instead our jobs are shipped to China while our social betters stay at home and collect their dividend checks for this great “innovation” of shipping American jobs overseas and increasing the competition for those jobs that remain!

Middle Class Talking Point: Bankruptcy

President Obama has to stop being the wimp that he is and stand up for the middle class and the progressive base that put him in power!

Here are some suggestions:

Push for the repeal of Bush era laws that made it hard for individuals to declare bankruptcy! How about a bail out for main street and the middle class!

The President must push to make union organizing of both blue collar and WHITE COLLAR employees easier by the card check method!

Raise the progressive income tax to Eisenhower era levels of 91%! Dividends from corporations that bring back jobs from overseas can enjoy a tax rate of 50%!

Raise the estate tax on millionaires so that little Brad can join his peers in the middle class and share in this “great land of equal opportunity and entrepreneurial competition ”! We don’t want to dis-empower little Brad from achieving “American ruggard individualism”!

The time has come to stand up for the Silent Majority: our great Middle Class! Don’t let the Republicans use bankruptcy as a tool in their Social Engineering Experiment to redistribute Middle Class wealth even further toward their Plutocracy of America!

Well just got back from my vacation and what do I find on my liberal blog? The nice folks at google have loaded my blog with Republican and conservative ads. Hey I am just trying to earn a little secondary income but NOT from supporting Republicans.

Google Adsense Needs An Exorcist

I will be removing the Google Adsense ad program from this site. While they do provide a means to remove individual advertisers, once one Republican group’s ad is removed another one takes it’s place. Sort of like rodents don’t you think!

Anyway please bare with me while I read up on how to change from group ads to just search ads. The Amazon ads do long interesting though. Google Adsense works by analyzing the text and thus putting so called relevant ads on the space provided. What they never figured out is that when the issue is politics you need to find if the person is for or against the concept being discussed.

Thus with google Adsense if their “bot” were to spot the word “abortion” in the text it would generate an ad dealing with abortion from those opposed to those in favor. – WOW this from the people who drive me nuts with their S.E.O rules and regulations.

When I hear Republicans talk about “freedom” I need to take a Rolaids because my stomach turns acidic. Tim Palenty used this terminology at a recent meeting of the conservative group CPAC! Actually this is classic Republican rhetoric! The “Freedom” that they so prize is not freedom for the American Middle Class!

In this era where corporations are defined as “persons” I find my personal freedom under further attack! Just this year we have the record recalls of Toyota cars for multiple reasons. Also the diabetes drug “Avandia” has been labeled by many as the cause of heart problems! CBS News says that the company that makes Avandia, “Glaxo Smith Kline” knew about the danger for years!

With the recent Supreme Court ruling now in place, Glaxo could finance a lobbying campaign underwritten by the sale of Avandia. Under Bush the regulatory powers of the Federal Government to investigate were under financed. We would not want to fuel bureaucracy now would we? Perhaps we should just follow Ayn Rand‘s free market ideology! When enough people die from bad cars and prescription drugs then the market will adjust itself!

These same people will lecture us on death panels! They also applaud the recent Supreme Court ruling defining “corporations” as “persons” who are “entitled” to spend the money they collect from middle class Americans to advance their agenda! These elitists will cut Social Security and Medicare “entitlements” but levy “taxation without representation” via our purchase of corporate goods and services! With this mechanism they can dip their corporate hands into our wallets to finance their K Street Agendas!

Why should these elitists be allowed to engage in “Taxation Without Representation? Because in their grandiose view they are the “producers” not middle class Americans. They are “entitled”!

Just look at the results of their “entitlements”.

Every time I fill my car at the gas station this Democrat could be financing big oil ads for Republicans!

Every time I pay health insurance I could be financing the K – Street lobbying of the Health Insurance Cartel.

Every time we make a credit card payment, frequently at usury level rates, we are being taxed without representation to support the agenda of the big banks! But this is their “entitlement”!

The Republicans have a name for this!

They call it “FREEDOM”! To oppose this so called freedom is to be labeled a “Socialist”! Please understand that I am a west European style Social Democrat. Being that I am a Middle Class American and have self respect, I start to question what someone is “contributing” to society when they make more than five times my yearly income. When it goes into millions per year and I don’t see a cure for cancer, heart disease or aids then I want a strong progressive income tax to bring reality to the situation. But then again that is just me as I am a Middle Class American who has self respect!

Apparently many middle class Americans seem to lack self respect. You will notice in the above paragraph I used the term “contribution” to society! When I graduated college nothing irritated me more than to have to be subjected to employment interviews where I was to “role play” a serf desiring to pledge his loyalty and subject my individuality to the “Corporate Collective”. There were a multitude of books on how to perform during the “employment interview”! I was to use key phases like making a “contribution” to the corporation.

Don’t misconstrue what I am saying. A prospective employee should try to be a team member and give value and loyal work to his employer! But what irritated me then and still does now is when I hear Republicans talk about “Freedom”!

Middle Class Americans are to subject their freedom to the corporate collectivists and act as if our only desire is to “contribute” while our lords in the Corporate Collective are free to fire us at will, move overseas or import technical workers to undermine programming jobs. Why don’t we want to subject our corporations to the concept of “responsibly” as in western Europe where employees have more contractual rights! In job interviews we were not supposed to talk about our needs only how can we serve the Corporate Collective!

In this era of licentious permissiveness we see these “persons” called corporations shipping our jobs, wealth and technology overseas to serve their perverted sense of “entitlement” yet we in the middle class are to are to lower our expectations in terms of health care, social security and the social net in order to lower the tax rate of our social betters! Furthermore they frequently ship our society’s assets to the enemies of America!

The time has come for the Silent Majority – our great Middle Class to say enough to these effete snobs of privilege with their grandiose sense of “entitlements”! We need to repeal not just the Bush Tax Cuts but the Reagan Tax Cuts as well!

The Republicans were so happy when our nation lost it’s bid for the 2016 Olympics. (See video below). They even rejoiced saying Barrack Obama had lost his charisma! But their glee was short lived when our President received the Nobel Prize for Peace! You would think they would stand behind our President especially in this time of war! No instead they stand behind the CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS who ship our jobs and technology to distant shores, often the enemies of America. They support Halliburton which has transferred it’s Corporate HQ to Dubai and whose subsidiary has caused the death of our soldiers by electrocution due to faulty base construction! But they rather target ACORN since that “sinister” organization is registering new voters that are not influenced by K-Street targeted ads.
