As you already know Mitt Romney made a stupid remark about the poor. I believe Republicans actually would have loved his remark after the primary! His remarks were a perfect set up for a Richard Nixon “silent majority” strategy that would pit the middle class against the poor. The idea being to alienate middle class Americans from Democrats and their “so-called” worsey welfare state!

The ONLY reason why this strategy failed Mitt Romney is because he is not yet facing Barrack Obama. If that were the case I believe Republicans would have loved the strategy! But there still is a primary and Newt Gingrich saw a chance to score on rich Mitt.

Please note I don’t believe for one second that Gingrich gives a krap for anyone but himself. But he used this occasion and perhaps saved the Democrats from defending against a “welfare Cadillac” GOP strategy!

Once Gingrich said his piece then the rest of the GOP had to back away from Mitt Romney’s stupid remark about the poor! Even Rush Limbaugh has criticized him.

Gov. Romney stated that his focus will be on the middle class not the rich! He says the rich are well off while the poor have a safety net.

How We Progressives Can Exploit This

Frankly I have to confess that while I care about the poor, I believe most middle class Americans could be swayed by a new GOP ”welfare Cadillac” strategy. But Progressives have not been so naive as in the past. You know when we progressives used to call ourselves “liberals”! We allowed the Republicans to “steal the football”. Now we know better and have to relate the progressive agenda to middle class concerns while not forgetting the poor.

The problem is that many middle class Americans worry about becoming poor. That fear is how we progressives should connect to the middle class rather than altruism!

This fear even extends to millionaires! In fact a recent survey by the Fidelity Investments Corporation of multi-millionaires said that 42% not only do not feel they are rich but they will outlive their investments! When asked what would make them feel rich they responded having at least 7.5 million! Wow so many millionaires do not feel “self sufficient”. Gee how are we middle class Americans to feel?

While Newt Gingrich criticized Mitt Romney for desiring to “divide Americans”, Newt Gingrich wanted to put poor children to work. Poor kids could replace unionized janitors at their local school. (See short video below).

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Newt Gingrich Wants Poor Kids To Know Their Place

Can you imagine a kid going to school in Newt Gingrich’s America? Under Newt Gingrich’s plan only one janitor would remain in each school to be assisted by poor kids. Meanwhile Johnny rich brat can piss on the bathroom floor and the poor kids can then be made to clean the rich kids mess!

What a valuable life lesson “class” they can learn at an early age!

They can lean to know their place in the CLASS STRUCTURE of America! It is bad enough that kids in school bully other kids. Now we can make it “classy”! Teach the kids their place in the class structure of America using Newt Gingrich’s class syllabus! But wait all is not lost!

Meanwhile Senator Rand Paul, who is Ron Paul’s son, wants to “unleash” the power of our ever glorious free market to bring full employment by eliminating those nasty minimum wage laws! That is how you become “self-sufficient” in Republican Party America! Just ask anyone who has to use a hospital emergency room for their average medical treatment! Most work but at such low wages they cannot afford to go to a doctor!

Dear reader let’s connect the dots. Let’s remember about the plight of our social betters that was uncovered by the Fidelity investments Corporation study that says 42% of millionaires believe they will outlive their investments!

Amazing millionaires who do not believe in this great land of free enterprise, that they have NOT yet reached the point of being self-sufficient!

Pity the poor job creators!

That is why I know my place and am so happy that pensions are becoming a thing of the past! I would rather middle class Americans feel insecure in our old age instead of those millionaires cited in the study above! After all they are the “producers” and the “job creators”! I would not want the millionaires to feel so insecure in their old age.

Besides even if we have lower incomes, little or no pensions we in the middle class still have social security and Medicare! – Right?

All is not lost. Let us “turn the page”!

Barrack Obama: From Poor Kid To 2008 Winner Of The Goldman Sachs PAC #1 Award

Well I realize my readers may be discouraged after I discussed Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul all is not lostl! Now enter Barrack Obama – our hero!

Yes the spunky lad grew up and worked his way up from humble origins with an African born father and American mom to become the coveted 2008 GOLDMAN SACHS PAC #1 AWARD WINNER! And they said American corporations are racist!

The GOLDMAN SACHS PAC in 2008 considered Barrack Obama to be their best investment of PAC money!

Is it any wonder that Barrack Obama has in his words decided to “turn the page” when it comes to how we got into this fiscal mess rather than investigate the crooks on wall street. Oh but wait! Now three years into his presidency President Obama wants to start some investigations!

This financial crisis could have been played to the hilt to move the nation leftward. Barrack Obama could have been the 21st Century FDR. But what do we get instead? “Barrack the wimpy hearted” who plays liberal inside the corporate sandbox like a good little boy!

Remember before I mentioned our declining incomes and the weakening of our pensions!

But with Barrack Obama as our remaining jobs get off shored we can enjoy four more years of even bigger concessions to Republicans. So far we have enjoyed a toothless health care reform and financial reforms that have not ended “to big to fail”! We have “enjoyed” financial reforms” that force disclosure of the interest rate but still allow the practice of USURY!

Despite the biggest financial avoidable meltdown since the Great Depression and an easy opportunity to exploit the situation for the Progressive Agenda, Barrack Obama has chosen to “turn the page” on FDR style leadership to be the wimp that he is!

So when the GOLDMAN SACHS 2008 (and perhaps 2012) PAC winner gets re-elected instead of those nasty horrible Republicans I mentioned above, we Democrats can all pat ourselves on the back with a glowing sense of great accomplishment!

WE SHOWED THEM!

After all no real progressive had the guts to stand up in a primary fight with Obama!

It is going to be great the next four years with Obama as president!

He can kiss Joe Lieberman’s ass some more!

While the banksters run amok with our nation as too big to fail still remains.

Usury reigns supreme!

We will soon reach full employment by middle class Americans knowing our place in the corporate sandbox and working at Walmart wages.

Yes Sir we will show those damn Republicans by re-electing Barrack Obama! Lead by our glorious Democratic Party under Barrack Obama, who it turns out was never from Kenya but from the linage of GOLDMANS SACHS!

The great Democratic Party, the successors of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, will all be ecstatic with orgasmic ecstasy as Barrack Obama does his youth stlye hip hop to the podium to compromise and undermine everything that FDR did and stood for with his crippled legs. While Europeans will laugh but true Obama believers will all rise and call this “CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN”!

Yes my friends ONLY IN AMERICA! ONLY IN AMERICA!

As a Progressive Democrat I am enjoying the Republican circular firing squad. However the fun and games may come to an end because the people’s voice does not count. Their corporate sponsors may pull the plug on this delightful TV program we witness every night! What Newt Gingrich is facing is the karma of patronage campaign financing!

Running even in the primaries is very costly. We have heard calls for Newt Gingrich to step aside for Mitt Romney! The logic being that the contest is over and to continue will only help the Democrats!

We have only seen three states pick their delegates!

Most Republicans have not even voted yet! But then again that is really cosmetic since in 21st Century America corporations are people! The money changers have decided that the contest should now be coming to an end. You cannot continue a viable campaign unless you have patrician patrons or are one yourself!

That is why Democrats have to give Republicans a helping hand in continuing this circular firing squad!

I would like to see Democrats follow the strategy that was advanced by Rush Limbaugh to keep the fight going. If you remember the last primary some states allow any registered voter to vote in “one” primary regardless of party affiliation.

Rush Limbaugh wanted Republicans to vote in the Democratic Party primary for Hillary Clinton to keep the fight going on. What was worse is that Rush Limbaugh actually said he wanted “blood in the streets” at the Democratic Party convention between Obama and Clinton supporters! He called this “Operation Chaos”. If you watch the video below you have to wonder which is bigger Rush Limbaugh or his ego! (see video below)

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

I would hope that Democrats would now reciprocate and vote for the underdog in the Republican Primary if their state so allows it! Newt Gingrich would most likely run out of money as the GOP establishment and big money would dry up his supply of cash. Then I would love to see is a bitter Newt Gingrich go on the attack against the money changers in politics and make speeches that could be used via YouTube against the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling.

I would like to see Gingrich and his supporters become so bitter that they would support the move for a Constitutional Amendment to separate corporation and state!

You will hear a lot of nicey nice talk from Obama on the separation of corporation and state! But I don’t believe the winner of the 2008 Goldman Sachs PAC, “Barrack Obama” is going to do a damn thing to bring this separation about!

Meanwhile poor Ron Paul whines that the nasty news-media are not giving him the attention that he deserves! Ah poor baby! Ron Paul the champion of our ever glorious free market system is whining about “corporate persons”!

Ron Paul Whines Against The News Media

When Ron Paul gets the short end of our glorious free market system he whines and complains! My answer to Ron Paul is:

The news corporations are private corporations!

They are a part of our free market system! Who are we to tell our ever glorious free market system how to do their business! Besides if Ron Paul’s supporters don’t like the treatment they get from CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN or MSNBC they can always turn the channel to FOXNEWS! Ah yes FOXNEWS that bastion “fair and balanced journalism”! The problem is that FoxNews is not too hot about Ron Paul.

I admit the news media does seem to pass over coverage of Ron Paul! However that is not because they have an anti-conservative biases! They just see him as a non-entitly. Is this wrong? Yes but it has nothing to do with being conservative!

Two examples come to mind.

1. Buddy Roemer.

Most Americans don’t even know he is running! Buddy Roemer is not a liberal but he wants to keep money out of politics and bring jobs home to America. Unlike Herman Cain, Buddy Roemer actually was an elected official but he gets no press attention! Buddy Roemer was a four time congressman and served as Governor of Louisiana! Buddy Roemer was the founder of a bank and he did not take bail out money! So why wasn’t he at least invited to the first few debates and take it from there?

The problem for Buddy Roemer is that he will not accept the patronage of organized money! Buddy Roemer will not take more than $100.00 from any individual and he rejects PAC contributions outright!

2. Howard Dean

If conservatives want to whine about the news media let me remind them it goes both ways! I remember one speech by Rick Santorum that ended with him giving a motivation yell to his followers! You know the same thing that Howard Dean did!

The difference is that the corporate news media crucified Howard Dean. The result of their intrusion into the Democratic Party primary process was that we ended up with the lackluster John Kerry instead of a real Progressive like Howard Dean.

Gingrich And Limbaugh Paying Their Karma

Newt Gingrich is rich but he does not come close to Mitt Romney in terms of wealth! I want Newt Gingrich to stay in the race! He is making excellent talking points for the progressive agenda. Are Republicans such wimps that they cannot take an in fight like the Democrats took in the last primary?

My hope is that the fight between the Republicans will serve as an educational experience for many informationally challenged Americans.

Barrack Obama should have used his three years in office to educate the public but he instead choose to “turn the page” on the banks and Bush. As I have said in prior posts, as a progressive I have serious doubts about Barrack Obama!

But for now let the circular firing squard continue. They are doing a better PR job than Michael Moore to undermine the conservative cause. Keep up the good work Newt Gingrich! It is fantastic that Rush Limbaugh wants this fight to continue. As progressives let’s do our best to help keep this comedy show alive! See video below. Note some times if you don’t see the box you may have to refresh the page!

Yes there is a law of Karma! Listen to the video above he whines about how the poor conservatives are victimized by the GOP establishment! He even talks about how the GOP establishment blames the media – falsely according to Rush Limbaugh! Wow Rush Limbaugh backing the news media!

Please Rush Limbaugh keep up the circular firing squad! i love it! Rush can generate the funds to keep his “KARMIC OPERATION CHAOS” going! Yes indeed Rush you Republicans are going to pay for your karma of “operation chaos”! And it is “Karmic”!

While we are all happy that President Obama finally found “some” testosterone he just does not want to take responsibility for his lack of mojo over the last three years! Obama seems to have amnesia when it comes to the progressive agenda. Well until now! Recently he gave a speech (see video below) where he questioned how some could have “amnesia”.

“After everything that’s happened, there are people in Washington who seem to have collective amnesia. They seem to have forgotten how we got in this mess. They want to go back to the very same policies that got us into it. Same policies that stacked the deck against middle class Americans for years”.

Currently I am reading a box called “Pity The Poor Billionaire” by Thomas Frank. The author raves that unlike 1929 when the nation was on the brink of revolt; today people actually seem to believe the real issue is how we can best help our social betters!

Mr. Frank’s bewilderment is almost the same as President Obama’s! The answer is simple!

Americans are stupid! Yes I can say that I am not running for political office! Our society not only suffers from “trickle-down economics” but the parasitic schema of “Trickle Down Identity”.

But how can this be after the debacle of 2008! Everyone knows that the Republicans took us from a budget surplus under President Clinton to ruin as National Guard deserter George Bush played field marshal in Iraq!

Why Our Nation Has Amnesia

The first reason is that most Democrats don’t want to face their own cognitive dissonance and accept the fact that our party has joined the Republican party to serve the corporatists agenda! Republicans outright while Democrats play liberal inside the corporate sandbox! Bill Clinton was part of this and we have to stop closing our eyes!

Bank deregulation and globalization advanced under President Bill Clinton and then exploded under George Bush. Congress is bought! When both parties go to bed with the CUT AND RUN CORPORATISTS that off shore our jobs, technology and future to our future military rival China, and no party stands up to this the answer is simple!

Democratic politicians have “testosterone reduction induced Amnesia” from “playing liberal” inside the moneyed confines of he corporate sandbox!

Stop making excuses and looking the other way while Democrats play this game! Obama’s re-election will not solve this problem! We need a birth of “Middle Class Consciousness” in America! The silent majority needs to stand up to these effete snobs of privilege!

Our corporate news media don’t challenge us but instead look the other way while the right wing continues the false charges of a pro-liberal news media bias!

As ST Augustine warns us that our decision making processes are corrupted!

One does not decide to commit a major crime outright! First smaller decisions are made and these then skew the evaluation processes to go further down the wrong path making worse decisions possible.

Democrats have started us down this faulty road by looking the other way as K-Street influenced the political decision making processes of our society. “Amnesia” – yes because even today most progressives don’t want to face the facts that our hero Bill Clinton was a part of this processes! Our society also has to face that some of our assumptions are wrong.

The “free market” does not always translate into “our freedom”! But instead we sit back and accept the bromides to lull us into “amnesia”!

The Schema Of Trickle Down Identity

As I have said in a prior post our nation does not simply suffer from “trickle down economics” but “trickle down identity”.

Our society perpetuates certain trans-generational parasitic belief structures!

The well-being of our social betters, the so called “job creators”, must be our prime concern!

Their freedom to receive dividend income from the work of their ancestors and/or their current lavish employment compensation’s translation into stocks, must come over the security of our income from paychecks!

The right of my social betters to enhance and increase their dividend income steam by off shoring and increasing the competition for American jobs pre-empts my right to a paycheck income!

The “innovation” of sending Apple jobs to China where some workers have committed suicide because of low pay, seven day work weeks and unsafe work environments is a the mark of a true entrepreneurial spirit! If you don’t like this then you can vote with your meager dollars for other products! This is called “FREEDOM”! Yes indeed the FREEDOM TO SERVE OUR SOCIAL BETTERS! To believe otherwise is unpatriotic!

Our social betters have the right to put their dividend incomes in the Cayman Islands and Swiss Bank Accounts! Maybe if we middle class Americans would just know our place then they would bring their dividend incomes back to America and grace us with minimum wage jobs!

The above are the values that have been internalized and accepted by most Americans! These assumptions must be exposed in the light of day! They can never be as long as Progressives do not face their cognitive dissonance and existential anxiety that Bill Clinton was a part of this along with George Bush!

The Democratic Party has “played liberal” inside the moneyed confines of the corporate sandbox long enough! All of the above is historical! Now the reason why the meme of ”Trickle Down identity” continues! The answer is BARRACK OBAMA!

Barrack Obama Contributed To The Amnesia He Complains About

Barrack Obama was the 2008 winner of the Goldman Sachs PAC! If dollars are votes then Barrack Obama was their guy in 2008. Dear reader stop practicing amnesia. Click on the link above I have provided from opensecrets.org!

Barrack Obama did not push for real investigations into the Federal Reserve and the banking cartel. Barrack Obama spoke about “turning the page”! Three years into his presidency is a little late to begin initiating an investigation!

Barrack Obama chose to resign from the Presidential bully pulpit and allowed instead the Tea Party to control the definition of issues and the battlefield.

The ONLY reason he now shows some testosterone is because of the Occupy Wall Street Movement!

Barrack Obama has been the champion of Amnesia!

He has served his masters in Goldman Sachs well and played liberal while never really pushing for “change we can believe in”! Barrack Obama has just discovered people are suffering from unemployment. Even if the trickle rate of growth continues it will be YEARS before we are back to before the crash! I know he is not God and I do not fault him for the economy. I fault him for “playing liberal” instead of being liberal.

We never had a real stimulus and now information challenged Americans believe that Keynesian Economics does not work because Obama:

Never gave us a real stimulus package three years ago.

Surrendered the bully pulpit to the Tea Party who have now defined the issue as debt reduction!

Tea Party rage has become the “model” for change as Obama was to busy being a Rogerian Facilitator instead of being an FDR style leader for “change we can believe in”!

Don’t get amnesia friends! Remember we were told that the PRIOR stimulus had shovel ready projects that would turn the nation around! Yet we spent more money on AIG than infrastructure!

OBAMA HAS AMNESIA

President Barrack Obama has forgotten his base and has forgotten about “CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN”! Because he did not remind Americans day and night about the “lessons of history” we now have amnesia concerning how Keynesian economics got us out of the depression!

We cannot have “change we can believe in” unless the assumptions I listed above are brought out in the open and challenged. To do so does NOT require a super-majority in Congress! It requires only one person! That person is the President of the United States! He alone has the bully pulpit!

Barrack Obama has failed also because he did not become an “ACTION FIGURE”! Americans will always choose the action figure over the wimp. Even if the action figure advocates positions that are against people’s interest! Why? Because Americans see weakness without testosterone!

But wasn’t Ronald Reagan successful while being nonaggressive? Yes Reagan was friendly in his speeches but he was active! Reagan constantly pushed his message. Obama is passive!

Again I repeat. I don’t care if Obama did not get one law passed!

Why I am angry at Obama is because he did not even try! He did not rally the nation to attack the assumptions that I have listed above! Barrack Obama spent years being a Rogerian Facilitator kissing Joe Liebermann’s butt and making nicey to Republicans when he should have been out in the streets as a 21st Century FDR!

I refuse to vote for Obama simply because he is the better of the two. Actually if we had a Republican President then Democrats in Congress would be tougher! My God what will Obama give away if he is re-elected? Senator Bernie Sanders was correct in the video clip I showed in the prior post. He noticed that Obama was speaking about cutting Medicare and Social Security! For Christ’s sake pensions are becoming a thing of the past! When Obama started there was talk about expanding union memberships by legalizing the “card check method”.

Now because Obama has demonstrated such weakness we now see unions fighting for their very existence!

“Change We Can Believe In” starts with a shake up of the underlying assumptions that prevent it. Legislation is merely the after glow!

Barrack Obama resigned from the most important de-facto position of the presidency! That of “pontifex maximus” to define the issues. To use the bully pulpit. Obama valued playing liberal inside the corporate sandbox and being a rogerian facilitator instead of using his feared oratorical skills like FDR did. Obama choose to have testosterone reduction induced amnesia and forgot about “change we can believe in”!

Yes it is fine that Obama got Bin Laden. But domestically I want Obama to fire a cruise missile targeted to go up Joe Liebermann’s ass! Let’s make some Santorum froth splash all over the Tea Party by a direct cruise missile hit on Liebermann butt!

God damn it I am sick of Tea Party folks thinking they have a monopoly and an “entitlement” on rage! Obama should have called for an investigation of the banks years ago and pushed to break up the financial cartel. Instead we got wimpy financial reforms while banks paid off their federal loans by continuing the practice of USURY!

I will not practice testosterone reduction induced AMNESIA! I will not call this “Change We Can Believe In”!

Do you really think that the winner of the Goldman Sachs Pac campaign funding of 2008 is really going to push for a serious investigation of the financial cartel or merely a dressing down of their CEO’s!

Obama needs to get a fire under his butt and apologize to his base! Even better do the patriotic thing! Step aside and let Senator Bernie Sanders or Howard Dean lead the party to victory in 2012!

Yes I did like that President Obama was more forceful in his “state of the union speech”. Sure he has been victimized by Republicans and the nut job birthers. But if President Obama kept his eye on the goal of the Progressive agenda from the start of his administration instead of how best he could kiss Joe Liebermann’s ass, I believe Republicans would not have been so successful with their filibusters! Obama practically trained the Tea Party and the GOP on how best to succeed. Remember we actually had a super majority in the Senate back when Obama took office!

What Obama Needs To Learn To Receive This Progressive’s Vote

I am fed up with making excuses for Barrack Obama. Again I understand he was confronted with nut jobs from the Tea Party accusing him on not being an American. The problem with Obama is that he did not call these nuts out as insane from day one! That only reinforced their zany behavior.

The progressive agenda needs an FDR not a Rogerian Facilitator!

Obama has never understood that to have “change you can believe in” you have to become the “campaigner – in – chief” to change values! This is what Republicans feared most about Obama, that he is a great orator! His recent state of the union speech proved it. Yes he is a great orator so why did we have to wait till three years into his presidency to hear him become forceful?

But there is more. To be a successful as President and create “change we can believe in” President Obama needs to learn something very important!

That lesson is:

The passage of bold legislation in Congress is the function of a massive public outcry from a populist movement that can be from the ground up or pushed by a President who uses the bully pulpit! Presidents are in effect the “Pontifex Maximus” of the nation. They “define” the issues! When a President stands by and only operates to create a Congressional consensus change occurs instead at the “initiative” of corporate funding. We need a liberal Pontifex Maximus, a modern leader like FDR not a Rogerian Facilitator!

The issue facing our nation today and the Democratic Party is:

Republicans will naturally attend to the wishes of their corporate sponsors! We know that! But Democrats are “confining” their liberalism to becoming actors! Democrats are “playing liberal” inside the moneyed confines of the CORPORATE SANDBOX!

Doubt me? The time has come for us to challenge certain assumptions out in the open! This challenge to underlying assumptions must be lead by a President who has guts and is not afraid to use the bully pulpit.

What are these assumptions that Americans accept without question?

Corporations have the right to move their assets abroad! We should not “just” reward corporations that keep jobs in America we need to penalize those CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS who ship our wealth abroad. This wealth is not their God given right! It was produced in America and is subject to this society’s permission before it can be shipped abroad.

Free Enterprise means “freedom”. This is yet another example of what I term “trickle down identity“! “Free Enterprise” does not always mean our freedom! That we want to reward innovation is true. Being rich is not a sin. But being rich by an UNPATRIOTIC means cannot be tolerated any longer in this 21st century! Nor can the “innovation” of slave labor and an unsafe work environment be rewarded by a value oriented society.

Compensation is always fair. ”If you are rich you entirely earned it”. No not always. We tolerate the wild compensation packages of some. That is why a progressive income tax is just a value oriented society’s way of saying “reality is calling”! Further some of the super-rich’s only claim to wealth is that it was be inherited. Those who inherit huge wealth, in effect inherit ”perpetual unearned incomes from the work of their dead ancestors“! They then believe that they have an “entitlement”! Yes an “entitlement” to increase their unearned dividend check at the expense of your “pay check”! They call this “freedom”!

The Inheritance Tax On The Rich Is A Death Tax! No in this great land of self determination of self made individuals that conservatives term “American Exceptionalism”, we don’t want the children of the rich to be crippled by a nanny trust! After all this is a land of equal opportunity where anyone can, if left to themselves with gosh darn doggedness, rise to be rich! That is what defines “American Exceptionalism“! To cripple the children of the rich with a “nanny trust” is to lack faith in American Exceptionalism and our ever glorious free market system to reward ruggard individualism, persistence, initiative and innovation! Therefore let the funds from great estates be taxed to provide “equal opportunity” via reduced costs of higher education to all. Don’t call it a “Death Tax” but rather call it an “AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM PRESERVATION TAX”!

Liberals Want A Welfare State! No we progressives want a “Social Contract State” that “values” real persons over corporations and challenges all of the assumptions above!

Rage is only justified for the mindless viewers of FoxNews! We hear it constantly since Obama became President. When real single payer universal health care wasn’t being undermined by Obama and Lieberman we had the rage from the Tea Party at town hall meetings! Republicans seem to believe they have a “right to rage” and that their primary should be won by the candidate who satisfies this need to rage! We liberals are fed up! Perhaps owning a gun is a good idea in an age when Halliburton can have private militias!

The news media has a liberal biases! Wrong we have the corporate news-media not the liberal news media. Check out the posts under “Conservative news media biases” that I have on this blog. One in particular drives me nuts. The way the corporate news media destroyed Howard Dean’s candidacy by labeling him a nut just because he gave an enthusiastic yell to his followers. The result was the corporate news media pushed the lackluster John Kerry to win the primary. I remember Rick Santorum giving a similar yell but the corporate news media did not attack him!. You can also check mediamatters.org for numerous instances of anti-liberal news media biases!

President Barrack Obama has to break out of the corporate sandbox and not care about his corporate donors. Let me again remind my readers the Goldman Sachs PAC chose Barrack Obama to be their top recipient in 2008! To bad Obama only “played liberal” inside the corporate sandbox for the last three years. If it were not for the Occupy Wall Street Movement the Tea Party would go unchallenged and be the sole definer the issues today.

Below is a video clip from Presidential candidate Republican Governor Buddy Roemer that addresses the issue of the separation of corporation and state. Even though Gov. Roemer is a Republican I have made a small donation to his campaign. He understands the real issue!

Could I vote for Obama? I still have some problems with President Obama. I liked that he was forceful in the state of the union speech but:

President Obama still spoke about compromising on social security if millionaires paid more taxes. Listen to Senator Bernie Sanders in the first video above.

He still seems to believe job training is the answer when even our white collar technical jobs are going to China and other nations. Yes he did address this issue some what. But I only heard about ‘carrots” for the CUT AND RUN CORPORATIONS that will return. I did not hear about punishments for those Cut and Run Capitalists who don’t want to invest in the nation that gave them their birth, profits and protection! Barrack Obama must end this age of licentious permissiveness and force these effete snobs of privilege to be just stewards of this nation’s capital. Instead terms like “tariff increase” are not part of Barrack Obama’s vocabulary! But then again we don’t want to anger big campaign contributors!

He still seems to believe we have achieved financial reform. But where is the prohibition against usury? Sure now they have to tell you that you are being screwed. But how about ending usury – period.

Obama wants to investigate the banks so we can “turn the page“! Gee I heard that line when he passed up investigating the Bush administration for their role in the financial meltdown and our involvement in Iraq. It’s 2012 not 2009 and I am frankly tired of making excuses for Barrack Obama.

I did not hear any call for a constitutional amendment to achieve the separation of corporation and state!

Even if he did all the above he still needs to become “campaigner – in – chief” for “change we can believe in“! He can do that by making forceful speeches all over this nation, day in and day out. If we have a rise in “middle class consciousness” then the effect will be to have legislation that brings “change we can believe in”!

If Obama were to use the bully pulpit day and night to advance the progressive agenda but still failed to pass one piece of legislation I would still count him as a winner!

Why? Because at least he would have tried and he would have made in roads into some of the core Republican talking points that a latter president could benefit from.

A general knows that to win the war he must not allow the enemy to “define the battlefield”! If Obama were to actively fight to undermine Republican assumptions in the body politic the change we all desire would eventually be reflected in Congressional votes!

Obama does not understand that laws embodying ”change we can believe in” come second! What comes first is a rise in “middle class consciousness” or what the book “The Greening Of America” labels the “Third Consciousness”! To bring about a “middle class consciousness” requires not simply a message but a messenger who exhibits testosterone!

I will say this again! American love action figures! To be an initiator of change the American electorate demands TESTOSTERONE! The message is not internalized unless the “messenger” exhibits testosterone because Americans have a self image as being action oriented and despise wimps! If you doubt this ask why “liberals” now term themselves as “progressives”! The former term was neutered of testosterone by Republicans and by liberal masochism. But that is for another post.

Thank God for the Occupy Wall Street Movement. They are working to achieve national “middle class consciousness” that Barrack Obama and most Democrats are to timid to work for!

In conclusion President Obama’s speech was a step in the right direction but he still lacks. If the election were today I could not vote for him but instead would vote Green or a write in for Michael Moore! I would even vote for Republican Buddy Roemer if he goes third party! I wish Senator Bernie Sanders were challenging Obama in the Democratic Party primary. Time will tell but at this writing the issue for this progressive blogger is:

“Barrack Obama OR Change We Can Believe In”!

I wish I could say yes to both!

This Sunday Senator Harry Reid stated on “Meet The Press” (video below) that President Obama has faced “obstructionism on steroids”! The senator then listed how the Republicans have gone out of their way to stop Obama and to undermine his presidency! Senator Reid is correct. Republicans are obstructionist. The problem is that Obama is trying to follow the management style of Dr. Carl Rogers who advocated that managers should not be leaders but “facilitators”!

Carl Rogers took his “person centered approach” from the school of psychotherapy that he created. This approach has a non-directive leadership style. This style may very work for some therapy clients.

Exporting the Rogerian approach from psychotherapy, as a management style, may work for a “community organizer”! That is because you are dealing with volunteers who generally share your values. However this methodology does not work in running the United States of America! Especially now that “corporations are people”!

The Person Centered Approach Does Not Work When Those Persons are Corporations

Barrack Obama has lead us progressives down the road to impotency. Thank God for the patriots in the Occupy Wall Street Movement. The Tea Party was shaping the definition of the battlefield. That is because Barrack Obama did not want to be a leader but a Rogerian “facilitator” instead! The Occupy Wall Street Movement is doing the job that Obama should be doing.

The problem is Obama weakly uses the presidential bully pulpit to counter-act the money from corporations. (When he is not taking Goldman Sachs money)

While the #OWS movement has to use the “people’s microphone” instead. This involves repeating what the speaker said as they are not allowed to use electronic equipment. After all in this era of “change we can believe in” money is speech and corporations are people!

Sure Barrack Obama had testosterone in going after Bin Laden. I agree. But would he stand up to Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson?

Let’s return to the comments by Harry Reid about “Obstructionism On Steroids”.

While the Republicans would have used this tactic they might not have done it so long or have toned it down except that the Democrats actually encouraged them all along the way by their pathetic lack of testosterone.

“Obstructionism on steroids” might have resulted in a powerful counter offensive. But Republicans correctly believed that the Rogerian facilitator, Barrack Obama would not do that as the president has a history of his head up Joe Liebermann’s ass kissing his hemorrhoids instead of speaking with steroids!

How can you throw away a 60 vote majority in the Senate and not do some serious arm twisting to advance the progressive agenda? Easy!

Barrack Obama and Harry Reid “play” progressive but they act progressive only within the constraints of the moneyed corporate sandbox that finances elections in this nation.

In the corporate sandbox good little Democrats will “play” progressive and not annoy their corporate mentors! Just like Charles Schemer and the so-called financial reform law. What a joke. They never outlawed usury! Now at least you can know up front what your usury rate will be! Wow “change we can believe in”. With the recent ruling of “Citizens United” it will be worse.

The Democrats just like the Republicans have to raise money from their corporate sponsors. Wow but at least the Democrats will “play liberal” like good little kids inside the corporate sandbox while the Republicans (most) will do the corporate agenda even without campaign financing!

Why isn’t Obama screaming for the 28th Amendment that would separate corporation and state! Obama’s lack of testosterone in this matter insures that our democracy will be a “game” played inside the moneyed confines of the corporate sandbox while our jobs flow to China! Sure Obama is starting to give nice speeches but why did he just sign yet another free trade deal?

Yes Obama did do some things right. But the banks should have been broken up.

Instead they paid off their government loans with the slave debt of usury on Americans via their credit cards and loans. These financial institutions can still use our economy as a casino parlor instead of investing in products and services of value! Yes we can thank the Republicans but stop closing your eyes to the part the Democrats played in this.

In 2008 Barrack Obama was the top beneficiary of the Goldman Sachs PAC. Harry Reid had strong ties to big pharma. In fact opensecrets.org says Bain Capital gave more money to Democrats then Republicans!

Ever wonder where your public option went?

The same place your jobs, pension and future went! All to the sponsors of the Democratic Party and the corporate sandbox into which these good little boys and girls play “make believe liberal”.

There is one final reason why Republicans got away with “obstructionism on steroids”!

The reason pre-dates Obama. Two years before Obama took office we Democrats took control of the House of Representatives! Did Nancy Pelosi dact as forcefully as John Boehner? We could have ended the war in Iraq by the House’s power of the purse. Instead all we got was a pathetic meow!

That is why the Republicans were so encouraged to practice what Harry Reid calls “Obstructionism On Steroids”! It could get worse. If progressives do not stand up to Obama he will give away everything in his second term.

Doesn’t any progressive realize that Obama is staying on with the same rationale that the banks used! “To Big To Fail”. We are so afraid of what will happen if a Republican wins! I say we need REAL PROGRESSIVES in Congress and the White House!

That is why I will vote for a third party candidate or just write in Michael Moore if there is no progressive running an independent candidacy in November!

If Reid and Pelosi would role model John Boehner and Eric Canter then we could protect the progressive agenda from both the Republicans and the corporate Democrats. Yes I would prefer a progressive president but Barrack Obama is not that man!

I am a Progressive and I will not make excuses for Barrack Obama! What burns me up is to hear Obama devotees give their endless litany we have financial reforms in America due to Obama! What reforms? The speculators are free to destroy our economy once again! Oh but now we have a small insurance fund in case we have to bail them out! The fund is a pittance in terms of what it cost the last time to bail them out. Some will say “didn’t the banks pay back their loans?”

The repayment was done on the backs of middle class Americans with credit cards and loan rates raising though the ceiling. College students are being shackled with loan payments but they cannot find jobs!

Obama’s solution is to call for tax cuts that would make Social Security and Medicare more vulnerable to Republican cuts down the road!

Meanwhile the rich keep their Bush era tax cuts. Obama now brags that the unemployment rate has fallen to 8.5%! Face it the first stimulus was too weak. Obama stated when he began his term that unemployment would not pass 8%! Obama was too busy trying to compromise!

If Obama would have looked around him at the suffering of the American people instead of keeping his head up Joe Liebermann’s ass perhaps he would have tried to outlaw the practice of usury. The only thing his reforms did was to require banks to make their disclosure forms more readable!

Nanny State For The Banks While Obama Plays “Make Believe Progressive” Inside The Corporate Sandbox

Barrack Obama has stood up for the middle class only if it would not hurt his patrons in Goldman Sachs! While the Republicans argue for Old Testament values and morality they condone the practice of “usury’ which the Bible prohibited! I want to make it clear that even if someone does make bad financial mistakes they should NEVER be the victims of usury!

This practice makes loan repayment impossible. Maybe the Government should have given Goldman Sachs a “payday loan” with usury rates!

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Meanwhile President Obama and Wall Street Chuckie Schumer are just so proud of their new Financial Reform Law!

This law does not address:

The crime of usury by which Americans are turned into interest slaves to the banks!

The continuation of “too big to fail” and the reckless leveraging practices that resulted in record profits for Obama’s patrons at Goldman Sachs.

That America was protected by the Glass –Steagall Act but this law was weakened in 1999. The Glass – Steagall Act kept investment institutions separate from commercial banks.

The banking cartel: This cluster of power has not been broken up! There have been no real prosecutions but instead a cloud of secrecy under the President who promised transparency! Amazing isn’t that Barrack Obama was the largest beneficiary of the Goldman Sachs PAC in his 2008 election!

The big boys can escape their responsibly but middle class Americans have less access to bankruptcy laws because these were weakened in 2005.

Now we learn that the Federal Reserve made trillions in loans without transparency. Many loans were made to institutions outside the United States. See the video below!

I am tired of making excuses for Barrack Obama. Yes I understand that he now has to fight against a Republican House and a Senate where Republicans can filibuster!

Perhaps if Barrack Obama had stood up to the Tea Party we would not have lost the ideological battle in 2010 that resulted in our loss of the House!

That laws where not passed is not the issue! Obama is a wimp of a failure because:

He did not try!

Obama did not take this case to the people using the Presidential bully pulpit. Obama did not fight the ideological battle. This from the man who was supposed to be the greatest orator of our time!

But then again it is hard to wage the fight when Barrack Obama is playing “progressive” inside the moneyed confines of the corporate sandbox of his patrician sponsors!

Accomplishing “Change We Can Believe In”

There are two battlefields. The Congress via legislation and the people via the war of ideas! If Obama had tried and failed completely to get any legislation passed I would not call him a wimp!

The problem is that not only did he not try to push for real reforms but he did not take his case to the people in the “battle of ideas”!

With the Citizens United ruling that unleashes corporate super-pacs, we need a president who will use his oratory and the bully pulpit. Instead all we have is a wimp with the foul smell of keeping his head up Joe Liebermann’s butt!

The battle of ideas was being won by the Tea Party until the patriots of the Occupy Wall Street Movement said “ENOUGH”! If we did not have the Occupy Wall Street Movement then Barrack Obama would be even more of a wimp then he is and make even more concessions.

Just think of how much more Barrack Obama can give away if he gets elected to a second term! He will use ‘our pain” to have his goal of a grand compromise!

QUESTION:

Where is Obama in the fight for the 28th Amendment that would separate corporation and state?

ANSWER:

He is too busy raising funds from his friends on Wall Street for his re-election!

I have had it! Dump the wimp Obama.

We need Buddy Roemer for President!

Recently President Obama showed some evidence that he does have guts. Yes even I was impressed that he stood up to the Republicans and appointed Richard Cordray to be the director of the Consumer Protection Agency! The Republicans were attempting a de facto destruction of this newly created agency by not allowing anyone to be appointed to run it. If you remember Elizabeth Warren was the ideal candidate but she was unacceptable to Republicans!

Elizabeth Warren is currently running against Tea Party GOP Senator Scott Brown! Funny isn’t it that Senator Brown did not follow his fellow Republicans in completely condemning the Obama recess appointment of Richard Cordray! (See video above) But then again he is trailing the feisty Elizabeth Warren who may very well win the Senate seat back for Democrats. My only regret is that Elizabeth Warren is not running to unseat Obama! Oh dear I forgot I started this post praising Obama for showing some testosterone!

Question: Will The Consumer Protection Agency Fight Usury?

President Obama’s financial reform legislation now mandates that credit card companies and banks must be transparent with the conditions of their products and services! This is “so peachy kean” that it constitutes “change we can believe in” – or does it?

Will this new agency regulate the notorious practice of USURY out of existence?

All of us like the idea of transparency. Did you know that:

President Obama was the top recipient of money from the Goldman Saches PAC? Maybe that is the reason President Obama has not pushed to end the practice of usury!

President Obama makes nicey nice speeches about removing money from politics and protecting the middle class. Yet our beloved President continues to play as the “liberal warrior inside the corporate sandbox!” How come President Obama is not raging mad calling for a constitutional amendment to separate corporation and state?

With all his new found testosterone, our corporate sandbox warrior for the middle class still signed a new free trade treaty that ships American jobs overseas to Columbia, Panama and South Korea!

The transparency of “Change We Can Believe In”!

While I would love Senator Bernie Sanders to run against Barrack Obama even to the point of a third party candidacy if Obama still won the Democratic nomination, I guess I have to face reality that Senator Sanders doesn’t want to do it.

Damn I was supposed to be lauding Barrack Obama, our dear beloved defender of the middle class, the inheritor of the legacy of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in this post.

I started this post with a mild praise for President Obama but:

Then again Barrack Obama still has that foul smell that comes from keeping his head up Senator Joe Lieberman’s butt and not pushing the progressive agenda when we had a super majority in the Senate!

Barrack Obama is the worsey warrior for the middle class and the 99%! Oh dear me I should be so grateful to Barrack Obama! I don’t think so. Why? Well if it were not for the Occupy Wall Street Movement this pathetic wimp, Barrack Obama would be compromising even more on job stimulus creation. Obama has allowed Republicans to win the “war of ideas”. People actually are more focused on the debt than the off shoring of both blue collar and white collar jobs. We have a massive trade deficit and yet Obama signed yet another free trade deal to please his mentors while he “plays” progressive inside the corporate sandbox!

We should not be grateful for Obama but instead for the patriots of the Occupy Wall Street Movement!

Ed Schultz may want to grovel at the broken promises of “change we can believe in” but this social democrat will not!

Where is our worsey warrior for the progressive agenda when history demands he stop “playing” liberal inside the corporate sandbox and instead use the presidential bully pulpit night and day to secure a constitutional amendment that frees us from corporate collectivism?

That is why I recently made a contribution to Governor Buddy Roemer in his fight to take the GOP presidential nomination.

Yes Buddy Roemer is a fiscal conservative. But the man has my trust because he will fight for a constitutional amendment to separate corporation and state! The most important issue facing our nation today is to get the corporations out of politics! Do that and all the rest will follow!

The bleeding of our economy by off shoring and the trade deficit were made possible by corporate power in the funding our candidates. When our economy is bleed by off shoring our jobs and we have record trade deficits then regular Keynesian stimulus packages are weakened and become ineffective. Gov. Buddy Roemer has a keen insight that most Democrats and Republicans will not face. See the short video below.

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Again Buddy Roemer is a fiscal conservative but the main issue in this election is saving individual freedom in the face of corporate collectivism by keeping money out of politics. Buddy Roemer has called for a constitutional amendment to do that! Where is Obama?

Buddy Roemer is also a populist! On the most important issues I agree with him and even where I do not, I believe his motivations are totally sincere and honest! Gov. Roemer does not take corporate contributions and limits his individual donors to $100.00. Most give less and he understands that.

I urge my fellow progressives to contribute to Governor Buddy Roemer! I did!

Congress can always be a watchdog on budget cuts. But if Obama is President it might be worse for progressives because he will continue to “play” progressive inside the monied confines of the corporate sandbox! If you thought it was bad before just wait till the “super-pacs” take over our political landscape!

That is why I like Governor Buddy Roemer! The man has guts! I will be writing a post dedicated to him soon. But I had to praise him now! I just hope he finally gets invited to a Republican debate. Without corporate sponsorship he does not have the war-chest so those who sponsor the debates did not invite him to the prior debates. However he may be in the New Hampshire debates! Buddy Roemer will fight the corporations and to bring our jobs home!

Buddy Roemer represents “Change We Can Believe In”!

According to the NY Times President Obama is going to turn up the heat on Congress for stalling and stonewalling him! What a pathetic little wimp this president has turned out to be! Sure he took out Osama bin Laden but in his first year if he had taken his head out of Joe Lieberman’s ass maybe Republican’s would have had more respect for him.

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

But then again Barrack Obama was following in the footsteps of Nancy Pelosi! Democrats had control of the House of Representatives in 2006 while Bush was still president. But under Pelosi did they use their constitutional power of the purse to end the war in Iraq? …… meow! Pelosi was no Ginrich or John Boehner. Both of whom were not afraid to oppose a sitting president from the other party.

Enter Barrack Obama with “Change We Can Believe In”. Brought to you by the nice folks at Goldman Sachs who were among his biggest contributors!

Obama from the start pursued his testosterone challenged agenda of treating corporations as persons. Yes Barrack Obama did this even before the Supreme Court ruling. Barrack Obama had the representatives of the Health Insurance Industry participating as players in the creation of the Heath Care Reform Act. Yes real people have a right to oppose him but there are over 300 million Americans. What gives a handful of corporate executives the right to sit and negotiate with our elected president?

Obama was afraid they would mount ads against his health care reforms as they did against Clinton. Fine then negotiate with conservative elected members of Congress not with millionaires whose only claim to the president’s ear is their money! Amazing corporations have the right of free speech and can tax us to support their causes by the price we pay for their goods and services. Yet the real people at Occupy Wall Street are not allowed to use microphones and have to use the “people’s mic”!

Obama Is Clueless To The Issues Facing America

Barrack Obama has this dream of reaching a “grand compromise” with Republicans that will be financed on the backs of senior citizens and the middle class. His latest scheme is a perfect example.

Obama will play the Republican game of “starving the beast” by cutting the payroll tax that is used to support social security! Don’t be fooled by Obama! He just recently signed yet another free trade deal that will cost American jobs. Oh sure “Change We Can Believe In”!

Buddy Roemer who is an unknown Republican running for President has an excellent answer to Obama in the short video below! Buddy Roemer was the former GOP Governor of Louisiana but he was never invited to any of the Republican Debates. Buddy Roemer is for a constitutional amendment to separate corporation and state!

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

To my fellow Progressives I urge you not to get caught up in the “Obama Drama“! This wimp is getting what he deserved. Sure the Republicans treated him badly! But Obama failed to take the lead. Now with super-pacs available to dump money the progressive cause needs a president who realizes the power of the bully pulpit. Obama is not that man!

We need to stop the “CUT AND RUN CAPITALISTS” WHO LOVE COMMUNIST CHINA MORE THAN AMERICA! They are shipping our jobs, our technology and our future to China! Obama will only continue this policy while he and his fellow travelers both corporatist Democrats and Republicans sing the “Corporatist Internationale”!

I will vote for a third party candidate! I don’t care if that means Newt Gingrich is elected. Democrats still have the power to block Republicans via the filibuster! God only knows what Barrack Obama is willing to give away to Republicans if he gets another four years.

Barrack Obama is casting a testosterone damping vortex over the Progressive Movement!

Thank God for the Occupy Wall Street Movement. They now represent “Change We Can Believe In”! To hell with Barrack Obama and his whining pathetic victim drama!

MoveOn.org released a short new video (see below) of Robert Reich! In this video economist Robert Reich likes a recent Obama speech that shows a bit of testosterone. I fear this is what is going to be the future of the progressive movement in America. We are going to be like a naive high school girl after her boy friend went out with other girls but says “I always loved you”!

Click here to view the video on YouTube.

Yeah right sure Obama! Yes I am so glad the White House is (at least currently) saying no to Democratic Senator Wyden’s capitulation to Republicans! Democratic Senator Wyden wants to join Republicans and offer up Medicare to partial privatization.

No doubt in reality Obama is mad at Senator Wyden because he beat Obama to falling on his knees in even more capitulation to the GOP and Tea Party. Robert Reich and MoveOn.org just don’t want to open their eyes and see reality. Obama had almost three years to stand for the progressive agenda but he will not use the bully pulpit. Now he suddenly discovers some of his progressive ideals. Sure and we are supposed to be like a high school girl with stars in our eyes for Barrack Obama!

But weren’t those mean nasty Republicans out to get Obama?

Sure they were. What did you expect!

What I didn’t expect is that Obama would be such a damned wimp and Democrats would follow him in the charge of the castrati brigade! I disagree with Robert Reich and moveon.org. I will not support this wimp again! The issue is to keep “change we can believe in” alive. The Occupy Wall Street Movement are now the custodians of keeping “change we can believe in” alive.

Obama and most Democrats want to “play” progressive like little kiddies inside the moneyed confines of the corporate sandbox provided by their benifactors! I will have none of it!

But Isn’t Obama Really One Of Us Progressives At Heart?

No he is still a wimp. Sure he took out Bin Laden but how about Joe Lieberman?

Before my readers get all choked up at the nostalgia we had when Obama was elected let me remind you back in the days when we had a 60 vote majority in the Senate! But instead of pushing aside the cloture rules that are not in the constitution President Obama lead the charge of the “castrati brigade”!

Those were the days when:

We were talking about extending medicare below 65 to all Americans. Now we are fighting just to keep it for retirees! Meanwhile Obama let the Bush Tax Cuts be extended while he should have fought to not only repeal them but the Reagan Tax Cuts as well. Can you hear the pathetic wimpy “meow”?

We were going to start a vast re-unionization of the American worker. Now we have those remaining unions fighting just for survival.

Obama was shaking his wimpy fingers at big bussiness talking about the evils of off shoring. Just recently he signed yet another free trade deal.

Obama talked about the evils of banks getting us into this mess. Yet now they have paid off their tarp loans on the backs of the middle class because Obama and wall street Chuckie don’t want to end the practice of credit card usury!

When Obama scolded the Supreme Court at a State of the Union address for their “corporate personhood ruling”. Yet the wimp never pushed for a constitutional amendment to ban separation of corporation and state!

You could buy cheaper Canadian drugs but now Obama and “Pharma Democrats” have passed legislation with their fellow travelers in the Republican Party to ban these life saving drugs to poor seniors.

I could go on and on but finally those were the days when any blazing idiot would know that the combination of the the income gap, reckless leveraging and off shoring was an easy win for Democrats and Progressives! Oh but we have President Obama!

Don’t get caught up in this drama that will unfold in 2012 when Republicans run against Obama. If you do then you are abandoning the Progressive Cause. You will be choosing Obama over “Change We Can Believe In”!

The Republicans will wrongly attack Obama but that is not our problem!

No Obama is NOT a “secular, euro-socialist, tofu eating, tree hugging, home-oh loving, Kenyan born, pinko, sharia law enabling Muslim” that the Republicans said he is!

No Obama is “instead” really just a God damned pussy wimp and we Democrats don’t have the guts to open our eyes while we lost this great chance to change history.

Robert Reich in the moveon.org video does chastise Obama but says we will conditionally give him a second mandate. Hell we all ready gave him one and just think about how much more he can give away with a second? I would rather support a failed progressive third party even if it resulted a President Newt Gingrich!

Why Risk A President Gingrich or Romney?

Because unless we Progressives show as much guts as the Tea Party then we will have four more years of concessions to Republicans by this wimp Obama! If we do have a Republican President then those remaining progressives will not be smothered by Obama Testosterone Deficiency Syndrome.

When Bush was president Democrats had more guts. Today we have the Occupy Wall Street Movement which I hope will become the start of a genuine new Social Democratic Party that will pass a constitutional Amendment to separate corporation and state.

That is why we need Senator Bernie Sanders For President In 2012. I will write in his name even if it some would say I wasted my vote.

It appears now even the mighty “moveon.org” is suffering from Obama testosterone deficiency syndrome. What do I mean? Back when the health care debate was the prime issue, Moveon.org sent it’s members an e-mail that we should write a “thank you note” to Harry Reid when he voted for the weakened law that did not have a public option. Like we have to thank Harry Reid just for being a watered down Democrat.

Has moveon.org lost it’s testosterone also? Robert Reich is a smart man but he needs to join all Progressives and just DUMP THE WIMP OBAMA! If we do not we will never have “change we can believe in“!

President Obama appears to have read the “tea leaves” and the oracle points to the “Occupy Wall Street Movement” rather than further appeasement of the Tea Party! Amazing the GOP accused him recently of being an appeaser! Obama’s correct response was to tell his accusers to ask Bin Laden and the other terrorists who have gone to collect their 7o virgins!

However we Progressives know that Obama is indeed an appeaser! Only it is not the external enemies of America that Obama bends his knees to but the Republican Party and his own financial contributors on Wall Street.

Sure Obama gave a great speech recently about the income gap in America. What I liked even more is that he correctly made middle class Americans understand that they are the target of the top 1% not simply the poor in America.

But it is too late and the question is will he keep it up and demand a constitutional amendment to separate corporation and state!

Progressives Versus Liberals: The Definition

Under Richard Nixon, for those old enough to remember, liberals took a severe beating. We were too doctrinaire and did not “sell” well to what Richard Nixon coined the “Silent Majority”! Liberals actually did sometimes practice masochism but I will not go into that here. By the way I am a Euro Social Democrat and proud of it.

The reason why Social Democrats in Europe could be further to the left of American liberals AND be open about it is they know how to sell to the center and make them self identify themselves as lefties! And in that selling being a leftie demonstrates potency! (Get it Obama, someday maybe you will!)

The fact is that while most do care about the poor they still want to know “what’s in it for me”! Ergo: Liberals redefine themselves as “Progressives” in America! The term “progressive” has more potency as an image, rightly or wrongly. The Progressives talk to the “silent majority” or in 21st century lexicon the “99%”! The problem is will Obama with his self inflicted image of “impotency” because he rarely till now uses the bully pulpit, smear the image of being “progressive”?

That is the issue I wish to discuss here.

The Income Gap: Is This Change We Can Believe In?

Yes I know many Democrats are just a buzz with warm and cuddly feeling toward Obama that he “finally” is coming back home to the party that elected him! I ask you to review what I wrote in red in the paragraph above. (Oh dear me was that a slip of my true colors?) Sorry to raise your existential anxiety but Obama is not our man!

Change We Can Believe In is founded on two factors:

Potent legislation pushed and passed. Some compromise is acceptable but the FDR “New Deal” must be advanced not rolled back even if compromise is accepted.

Legislation pushed even if not passed. The issue here is not the changing of the 60 votes to break a filibuster but the rise of a MIDDLE CLASS CONSCIOUSNESS! For those old enough I refer you to the “Greening of America” and it’s “stage three”!

The last factor is the most important for enduring change we can believe in! Obama has failed miserably in both. Must I review his impotency yet again here?

Financial Reforms:

Banks repaid their bailouts via usury rate loans. Where was the outlawing of usury? Why cannot middle class Americans have eaiser access to bankruptcy? This protection was taken away from us and Obama has not fought to restore it! Wow but now when banks charge usury rate interest you can see it more clearly in the mandated new reports they must show. Oh yes “Change We Can Believe In”!

Health Care Reform:

The Simpson – Bowles Commission, that Republicans love to quote, actually recommended a strong public option. Without it Health Care Costs will continue to rise. Now Democrats will take the blame for the rising costs! The the Democrats outlawed cheaper Canadian drug imports while allowing the Walmartization of America from China! Oh yes “change we can believe in”. The point is even if we did not get a public option Obama should be screaming for the need of a public option to change the public’s perception of the issue. He also should have sided with the middle class instead of the big pharma to keep cheaper Canadian drugs off shore like our jobs! Stop making excuses for Obama!

Off Shoring Blue And White Collar Jobs:

Yes I know some of my fellow Democrats want to kill me for cracking their mythology about Barrack Obama. But the fact is only a few weeks before he gave this great speech about the “income gap” he signed into law yet another so called “free trade agreement”!

Corporate Personhood And Super-Pacs:

Where the hell is Obama? Why isn’t he calling for a constitutional amendment to end corporate interference in the political decision making processes of a free society? The issue is not if he could get the votes! The issue is “Change We Can Believe In”! Soon corporate super-pacs will undermine all political advertising. Barrack Obama is the President. He has the bully pulpit. If he is not willing to use this power to place this issue before the American people then our democracy is up for sale! go after public opinion and the votes will follow. Even if latter.

If Obama fought like FDR and talked day and night about the “economic royalists“, the forces of “organized money” and called for a repeal of not simply the Bush Tax Cuts but the Reagan and Kennedy Tax Cuts then I would be behind him. I would back him even if he failed because he would set the stage for a future president. This is how “change we can believe in” takes place. Just look at his second stimulus package. It is still to weak and is financed by weakening social security and medicare. Playing right into the hands of the Republicans who will not point to an even bigger imbalance in the social security/ medicare balance sheet. This stimulus should have been two years ago and financed by a repeal of the Bush, Reagan and Kennedy tax cuts.

STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR BARRACK OBAMA!

Democrats Should Face Their Existential Anxiety

Barrack Obama is a wimp! – PERIOD! I will vote third party or a write in vote for Bernie Sanders but I will not support the destruction of the Progressive ideals of FDR. Obama will “pair” impotency with progressive ideals in the minds of young voters and put the middle class into a sleep of Barrackeyan Impotency!

Wake up middle class America and let’s take our nation back from both the Republicans and the shrills who make up most of the Democratic Party!

We need Senator Bernie Sanders for President and Howard Dean for Vice President in 2012 to fix the income gap!
